There were some stories a couple of years ago that Hotspot shield was redirecting its VPN users via some third party partner websites, affiliates, and ad companies. It was also placing tracking cookies on their users as a way to serve them with targeted advertising, and also injecting JavaScript in to their users browsers. In some articles that I read , they say that free VPN actually save your logs to sell it and not reliable at all. Good VPN connections are not cheap at all. Actually I do not require VPN as such but I like to use it. I am looking for free or very cheap VPN. My location is in India.

With windscreenVPN you get 15gb a month. With traffic bear you get 500mb but another 500mb if you tweet for them once a month. You are limited to which countries you can use.

In past, whether i use Tor / VPN, i need fill 10-20 reCAPTCHA even to access this forum happen everyday and change IP or exit node many times just to access a website.

True. There have been some VPN providers which have been subpoenaed (or their jurisdiction's equivalent) to supply logs, and have had to prove therefore that they had no logs to provide. This is obviously retrospective, and while a good metric to consider, just as in the world of finance, past performance doesn't guarantee future results. I'd avoid "Black box" solution if possible.

What I was describing is actually installing (open source) software on a VPS you control/purchased, and connecting to said VPS. The datacenter where the VPS is housed, or the VPS provider could look at your VPS instance, and create logs, but I believe this risk is fairly low.
I use a VPN all the time, and I can't recall the last time CF has blocked me, or even a specific time they ever blocked me. The only thing using a VPN has ever resulted in me getting blocked from is Netflix.
That also depends how website owner configure cloudflare. Most times, VPN and Tor user are required to solve reCAPTCHA many times (up to 20 times, while you only need to do it 1-2 times if you don't use VPN, Tor or public internet connection).

I personally use Private Internet Access (they are one of the first VPN providers to accept bitcoin), and have not had issues with CF reCAPTCHA, or with CF banning my (VPN) IP address. This includes websites that it was known were under a current DDoS attack. The threads you cited are only two examples out of billions of user experiences.
If you are concerned about logs, and you are in a country with weak free speech protections, you can rent a VPS located in a country with strong free speech protections, and setup a private VPN server with OpenVPN. This will not guarantee absolute anonymity, and you will probably be uncovered if you are doing something harmful to other people.

I don't think you know what you are talking about. There may be many servers running OpenVPN software, but OpenVPN is not a service that requires the user to use the OpenVPN client to connect, nor is it a service at all. Although the software allows for this, I am not aware of anyone publicly running an OpenVPN server for the purpose of allowing the public to connect.
Further, when using a VPN, you are relying on the reputation of the provider to not do bad things like keep logs or otherwise invade your privacy. Using a "random" VPN server will not allow you to do that because the "random" server will have no reputation.

You are correct that that is their best deal at the moment. I suspect most of the VPN accounts being sold have been hacked, phished, or otherwise stolen. NordVPN allows 6 devices to be used at once on each account, so it is quite possible that someone who is only using it on two or three devices at once (computer, phone, tablet, for example) could have their username and password stolen, and have someone else logged in to a couple of more devices on their account without ever realising it.
I've just come across the fact that ProtonVPN have launched a free VPN. ProtonMail are pretty well regarded as being a very secure and privacy focused email provider, and it seems their VPN is getting similarly good reviews. The free VPN is subsidized by users paying for the fully functional VPN, but still provides unlimited data. It's main limitations are you can only use one device at a time, and you can only user servers in the US, Japan, or the Netherlands (the first being a 5-eyes country, the second in co-operation with 5-eyes, and the third a 9-eyes country, so not a great selection).
So while still inferior to a paid VPN, it seems to be miles ahead in terms of privacy and no-logging compared to other free VPNs. Might be an option for those who can't afford a paid VPN (although there are some very cheap good ones out there).

I currently use Tunnelbear which charges around $60 per year for a yearly subscription and around $10/month for a monthly subscription, and the VPN works very well for what it is. Much better speed than what I've gotten on any free VPN, and there's decent customizeability in the software as well on Windows. I've tried using NordVPN on my computer as well, but it just never connected for me on my Windows desktop and I was never able to resolve the problem so I can't speak for how great Nord is, though they seem to have decent pricing for longer-term subscriptions from what I can see on their page right now.

Tor isn't recommendable for daily use because of the constant blocking of ip's you won't even be able to use google and other sites and some sites will even ban your accounts if you login through tor
That also apply to VPN/Proxy, CloudFlare (and similar services) also blocks IP from VPN & proxy these days.

Although they have many of the same goals in mind - increased privacy, anonymity, encryption of web traffic, etc. - VPNs and Tor are not the same thing. They have some subtle and some quite important differences, and achieve their goals through quite different methods. However, if you have no budget, then using Tor (which is free) is far superior to using nothing or using a free VPN. (Using a free VPN may actually be inferior to using nothing, as they are almost certainly collecting and selling your data to make a profit).
A free VPN isn't easy to get, you can get free proxys, if you use TOR what you get is a free proxy not a free VPN. So, for what you need it? If you want it for a simple task like look a video, then use a proxy, but if you want it to loggin in some services, then you should pay for some VPN who protect your privacy.
