If you stop mining, that'll bring down difficulty just a hair.  So, stop.  Wink

A virus that disables the fans on 58XX cards would probably work nicely.

I would much prefer a virus that sets GPU clock speed down to 100 while pc is idle

WoW, that's pretty easy to pull off and is actually an viable idea.
And probably won't even be detected by most AntiVirus.

The next difficulty increase looks really small. This is probably because prices have been stagnant for so long.

Get a lot of people to stop mining.

The more hardware there is in the network looking for proof of work, the higher the difficulty when it adjusts.

So basically, it's mostly going to go up as new miners are coming in, and existing miners upgrade their hardware.

I mean, I like an easy life. Basically getting the difficulty rating down while I crank up production would make my life easier. So what's the best way to get difficulty down eh?
