Source? How recent was this? Dank doesn't seem like the person to purposely scam. I think he probably just took out a loan and spent the money on shit or drugs then couldn't pay it back when the price went up so he was screwed, though I am open to change my opinion on this.
Unfortunately I didn't save the thread he started pointing people to the link. It was a pastebin he said he 'found' offering dox info, with a btc address that seemed obviously his. Vod was there but I don't think he thought much of it at the time tbh
