One account is AFAIK forever or until they keep getting donations(from big companies like google, so not much of a chance of running out of donations). You can also make multiple accounts, but be sure to register and login from them through different IPs.
BTW @OP I am getting problems on my VPS, my network(on VPS) has gotten "Limited" a couple of times, everytime I have to delete it and start a new instance to continue using my VPS, any solution?

You know $1.50 is real low for a method that gives you a VPS that costs ~$20 per month for free. You can make it back from just 4 posts(now that btc price is rising as well).

Though $1.5 is low but why would I refuse for discounts if OP is openly giving out discounts, I would personally always try to save a few extra bucks or maybe even cents, Don;t know why you got a problem with that? Logic of that is beyond me.
