For me this is a good idea. A very helpful suggestion that can help a lot of people here in the forum. We all know that gaining merits is very hard even if you know you have quality posts. I just hope this idea can be pursued by many.

Kindly check the forum properly their are various threads where the users can post the link of their post and which is not being merited or deserve a merit. Then the person who like your post or creator of the thread if like your post will give you a merit point. Hope this will help you.

Would also love some merit as a new comer but so hard. i wanan be a jr member

As i know you don't need merits for Jr.Member, only time and activity. You will need them after.

About topic starter's idea. Absolutely agree. Very good idea. Or, maybe, simple "likes" possibility, and exchange, for example, 100 likes - 1 merit.

Or, for example, if your post got "x" comments you get 1 merit, but no more then 2 merites per week received in this way, to avoid spam. And depend of quality, ofcourse.

Can enter an additional indicator, quality, the higher is quality, more merit at a time you can get. For spamming or meaningless information, low quality indicator. With zero quality you get zero merits for "x" comments under the post, a week. For the quality of 10, you get 1 merit for "x" comments under your post in a week, etc. And not more then 10 merites per month, earned this way.

The only way to get merits is to write value-adding posts. You need to get more experience in crypto and write about things people do want to know more.

How can you advise? whereas your own merit is empty.
Come on, this really does not need to be discussed, I think every member in this forum already knows if a constructive post is the key to getting it.
By the way, why not try asking people for advice on this list ?

This idea is not new.. There were hundreds of such an ideas in Meta thread.. Just check it there.
And not sure, that Marketplace is best way to discuss already thousands times discussed topic "Merit".

And so funny to read something like that:

Did you gave someone at least 1 merit?? Why not? And now think that 95% of forum community acting like you. That´s why it is hard to get those.

The word merit comes from English which means service, benefit, and achievement. Assessment of employee performance in bitcointalk forum is an absolute requirement that must be done by management for achievement can be applied well and of course to raise the rank

Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to earn merits, there are no objective criteria for obtaining merits. Publish any topic or interest post, we can only hope that it will be noticed and appreciated, although as a rule this does not happen.

Actually it's hard to get merit now if it's worth the money you get because before you get kerit points you need quality should the post know that we know that it's hard to make a quality post especially in english so to get the merit forum we need to make quality post so that we also get the merit.

I just want to make a suggestion on how to get merit as its very hard to get merit and to ranked up ever since the merit was implemented. I see a lot of high rank BCT members but they don't have much knowledge on cryptocurrency (I'm not saying I have more knowledge than them, I'm a noob) and I also see low rank BCT members that has so many knowledge on cryptocurrency. I see a lot of posts here on BCT that is very high in quality but they don't get merits that they deserve. I've seen lot's of posts that really help me and there is no like button to thank them if only I have merits I would have been given them merits to thank them for their great post.

Here is my suggestion:

Why don't we make a thread where we can post links on our post that we think deserve a merit and high rank members can check it or even moderators to see if it is a high quality posts and give merit to that post if it is really of a high quality. This way I think it will be much easier to get merits+more quality posts from low rank member. I just hope someone will make this possible.
i already see a thread like this in meta but the only person  who will send merit is the OP and he will  choose member who will be given merit . you just need to just post a thread which what you think is worthy to give merit.

because that gives merit is someone else, so even though our post is very nice and helpful but others who read do not want to give their merit, still we can not get it.

I agree all those comments and suggestions above., but one of the things that we need to remember is that merit is just merit which in turn for beginners an important thing. For me, i dont mind them, as long as i gain a lot of knowledge here, then there is no problem with me. Merit is an additional complement to my account, whether i rank up or not, life is just the same for me. So go head and learn, never mind about those complements.

Yes, this is a good idea. I also have problems getting merits.  Tho im quite new, I think i havent decent cobntribution to the crypto society.
You are right it is a good idea but there are threads already that give Smerits to those who deserve it. I did get 1 merit from the giving Smerits thread and to those who deserve it but you can also send Smerit when you have enough because Smerits depends on your merit. the Smerit means SENDABLE MERIT, when you have 10 merits and the smerits will be half of it once you send it you won't have smerits to share or to give. When you want to have more smerits then wait for someone else to give you merits.

Merit it seems to me absolutely meaningless thing! Beginners this way will never gain rank! It's sad! I think one of the big accounts will not give in to measure! Very rarely! Need to as the was on different to do system! That would and debris was less, but the newcomers could afford to gain rank!

1. Start it on your local board making high quality post. And because it is in your native language you can easily do a constructive, high-quality.
2. Make sure your post is not look as same answer that already answered before you, that seems you just rephrase the that same answer.
3. Do more sentence, avoid a single phase answer.

Your topic belongs to Meta discussions. You need to go into that category and you will see that many people have already offered the same thing as you. To date, there is no single topic in which it would be possible to post links to those posts that you think deserve merit. But there are a lot of topics in Service discussions created by the forum participants, in which post reviews are offered. If you find your comments useful and constructive, you can write there and try your luck.
