To me is good and very important to get rich because without some body been rich there is no way you can take care of your responsibility be you a family man or woman. The important of riches are: number one, if your rich, it will help you talk or say your own opinion when it comes in a meeting gathering, I could remember how it use to happen in our village meeting or gathering those days, when the leader or chairman of our town union bring out a topic to discuss, you will raise up your hand to give suggestions in his topic, some people anong you will tell you to sit down ones they see you as someone who has nothing....

Only way to become rich, let your money earn for you! looks simple but it take too much time for people to realize and for some other the whole life is not enough.

All the things you said is for the beginners and its for how to save money to get a capital for investment but once you got the money the real task begins, investing on stocks is a great idea but for most of the people they don't even know how to do it so it is not advisable to invest, first you should get the deep knowledge about it and then start investing.

Personally I think getting rich involves not only a "little" luck, but a lot of luck. There are so many smart, hard working people out there thriving to become rich. In the end it isn't enough to have the right idea, you also need to be at the right time to make your idea work.

Rich for me is not having a nice car and a big apartment, but rather having enough money to be independent. One thing I notice with many people who become very rich is that there goal was never really to become rich. They just wanted to be the best in their field, becoming rich is just a by product of that. The motivation is not money for them.

So just having becoming rich as your main goal is doomed to fail in the long run in my opinion.

I have read the middle part of your topic and I disagree to your advice of reducing the luxury. The advice is correct but those examples is what I disagree with.

Living in a private house doesn't mean you need to be extravagantly living. IMHO, that is better than to rent a house and think of monthly dues which will cost you more money. And if you want to lower your lifestyle then owning a second car isn't ideal too, because it can cost you more money as well because maintenance for those type of cars are possible to cost you more than owning a brand new, it's better to commute if you have a good public transport in your place.
