Trade on this platform and risked some BTC. When you are through and successful, your trade partner will give you a positive feedback and you get a green trust. The number of trades you have with the feedback correlate with the number of trust.

Exactly that way Wink

Wrong.

The only ratings that make a difference to your overall score (which in turn make you go green or red) are ratings from users in Default Trust levels 1 and 2.

For example, if a user such as minerjones, Lauda, Lutpin, Blazed or myself (among many other users in DT..) leave a rating on an account for a successful trade, it will be visible to all by default, and therefore goes under "Trusted Feedback" for everyone to see.

For anyone outside Default Trust, they can still leave you a rating, but it goes under "Untrusted Feedback" and will make no difference whatsoever to your trust score (it will remain 0).

Maybe you should try leveling your account first by posting and upgrading your activities so that you will reach a higher rank. Or you might wanna try conducting a transaction or negotiations here in which you can offer some of valuable goods or service in exchange for bitcoin or vice-versa at anyways whichever you prefer just make sure your transaction is smooth and no sweet talks just make sure that if you get something in return you will give something back to your client.

Hello! I am new and have an answer! Friend is important to be an active reader and write more often. Comment, report and rating will grow the only thing that will not be fast. Do it every day.

Trust is usually not influenced by number of posts. The quickest way would be to just buy stuff from people in the services and goods section and hope that they will give you positive reviews.
You must be stating a fact. You have several positive trusts.

I just want to say do not blindly trust the numbers (20 0/+2 and similar). Sure he has a lot of feedback but not much of it is backed by serious reasons and note that most of nathams trust is from 2 users (monbux and EFS)

Myself did a trade with kilo17. I sent him 1+ BTC unescrowed and after that he sent the goods to me. That's what I see as well deserved trust (because he could say byebye to me after receiving the funds).
In other words: Always check also the reason for given trust.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying nahtnam is not trustworthy (I believe he is) it's just ... you know  ( i hope you see what mean ).

Conduct a successful trading of your item, goods, gadgets or something you want to sell online here in exchange for bitcoin or vice-versa. I think that is one the key here to gain trust without scamming or getting in someones goods without giving something in return as the law of philosophy always states equivalent exchange is needed if you want to get something in return you got to send something away.

Make trading, if you really wanted to gain trust. You buy or sell stuff and you can earn positive trust when you have legit and successful trading. But before doing that, work first on your activity, post constructive ideas something that can contribute to the community. Dont make nonsense posts, make sure you are posting everyday but not to the point that you abuse it, you can make up to 7 posts a day. Good luck!
Literally, you just told him the exact opposite of what he should be doing. How does one gain trust by having good quality posts ?  Undecided
For instance, your misguiding post is a nice example of how one should be posting in a thread when they what no idea what's going on.Who said more than 7 posts a day abuses any of the forum rules.

You wrote
Dont make nonsense posts
But before that you wrote
Make trading...Yiu buybor...yiu ...positige...sucxessful trading.
I think you ought to take your own advice, whatever it was.

This is what disgusts me about this forum, post like this, which are obviously written just to increase post count as soon as possible.  This garboon is in such a rush to crank the post out that he writes nonsense.

OP, what are you so concerned with trust for?  This kind of question makes a lot of older members here a bit suspicious.  You do realize that people often leverage trust ratings into scams, right?  Quite a few have done it, which is why the buying & selling of green-trusted accounts will earn the seller, and the trusted account, a negative.

I am trying to get my trust rating up. Could anyone help?

I cannot but laugh at you because as a fresh member of the forum, the only thing that could come to you to ask is about how you want to increase your trust. If you had been a higher rank member, that question could land your account in red. You might be wondering why will that happen, well that is the situation that which trust ratings have degenerated into. But the advise to you is to continue what you are doing, contribute to the community positvely in the highest morals available because if you default on that knowingly or unknowingly, your account might be tagged and when that happen, you don't only not get to increase your trust rating but also make that account worthless.

You dont need to ask for it because as you continue in the forum, some things will become clearer and part of it is the trust system.

What do you mean? maybe you are trying to say that you want your activity to go up, the only way to increase yours is just to keep posting, you will be credited by 14 activity points every 14 days, it means, max 28 points every month, and you have to be active everyday.
Well, and regarding to the trust, the only way to have a green number is just to do good things for the forum, but  only a few people have good trust, and there is no way to claim it.

No no. Trust has nothing with activity. Didn't you ever noticed it under each name in posts? Positive and negative trust, you know? Plus and minus Smiley as I noticed only managers have it, but sometimes I meet ordinary commentators who earned positive trust, mostly I see people with negative trust here on the forum. Actually I'm also interested how it works, in the case of positive trust to an ordinary user, like I am. There is no need to explain negative trust, I've understood it already.

I understand where you're coming from. I didn't know what the trust rating was or that such a thing even existed until I stumbled upon someone who had a red, negative number under their username. that really surprised me. I was fairly new and hadn't even considered the importance of reputation or what role that might play. but even so, the thought of being branded with negative trust sort of bothered me. it's kind of like a modern-day Scarlet Letter that follows you around, forever casting doubt on anything you will ever say, whereas positive trust lends a degree of credibility, even amongst strangers; instead of a badge of shame, it would be regarded as a badge of honor. I remember being compelled to initiate some kind of trade that might result in positive trust, not because I wanted to be trusted.. I just really disliked the idea of being dismissed as a scammer or otherwise dishonest. but after thinking about it for a while, I realized the cultivation of a good reputation and the trust of others is not something that should be fast-tracked. I decided the proper way forward would be to put in time and effort with the aim of adding value to whatever situation I found myself in. I might miss the mark once in a while, but I feel this sort of mindset will, if nothing else, help reduce the useless noise that tends to accumulate. I know that wasn't exactly what you wanted to hear, but it's the best advice I can give.

Just keep posting quality and related replies to each topic trust ratings will be given to you once the moderators see fit of your post quality, constructive, straight to the point, on topic, and not redundant. And make sure to post daily or regularly to let them view as active user here in the forum and in order for you increase your rank so that many well respect you.

Why is it imperative that you 'get your trust rating up'? For what purpose do you require to be trusted? Trust can only be earned over time but it is more than just a few feedbacks and is more to do with your reputation and standing in the community (which again can only be built over time by being an active member of the forum and engaging in various trades here). With that being said, don't just do trades or activities just for the feedback because that usually has the opposite effect and immediately rings alarm bells.

I think you need to be on this forum for a longer period of time. Then to gain trust you probably need to lend Bitcoins successfully or do something else that warrants a trust rating.

Since you are new to the forum, you probably need to work on getting your rank up higher before you get too concerned about trust levels.

It's hard to be gain trust ratings. But can achieve that though. You just to need create something useful and helpful to the community. Like doing small trades like sell your altcoins for Bitcoin or Bitcoins for altcoins. For every successful trades. The member will give you positive feedback because of the successful trade. But do not force them to give you positive feedback. That's not a good behaviour and abusing trust. You can also offer a service for free. Just like what others was doing here. And one thing i notice. You're a newbie. Make your rank atleast full member or higher in able to find someone you can transact with. No disrespect, but no one trusts newbies these days.
