It appears to just have broken for me in the last day the last time FireFox updated. Is anyone else having issues?

Yup its definitely not working now.

Not as disciplined in terms of doubling exactly every time, but much larger amounts.

And to think I felt dirty after losing 0.03 and promptly withdrew the rest of my balance.

I don't get it? Why would you want a bot to automate you losing X% of every bet?  It's like, no one would play slot machines if they just got 93c back for every $1 they put in, they need the fun/rush of pulling the handle and watching the cherries. Doesn't this bot just automate losing and therefore remove the fun/gamble part?

In the long run absolutely, in the short term you should make money assuming you do this (also assuming the universe doesn't hate you):

Bet on a 49.5ish% chance to win, bet minimum amount, double bet when loss occurs, reset to minimum bet when win occurs.

I used a java script on coinroll.it employing this system. I deposited 0.14BTC, made approximately 1.95BTC and eventually went down to 0.00BTC.

I found a pretty good winning combination, wins probably 90% of the time, maybe even more:

1) go to - http://botdice.com/
2) Enter the following stats:

Max rounds to play: 1000
Bankroll per session: 100  (or 1000 - best)
Target profit %: 2
Chance to win: 33.33
Payout multiplier: 3
Initial bet amount: 0.00001
Add to bet after win: 2 (x previous)
Add to bet after loss: 2 (x previous)
Reset to initial bet after wins in a row 1
Reset to initial bet after losses in a row: no reset
Maximum single bet: 100 ( or 1000 - best)
Single session: single

then press 'Roll'em' a few times and see the results.

- if you do lose your 1000 BTC bankroll, you'll notice is after 18 losses in a row.. and I mean, seriously..  18 feaking losses in a row  ? Your going to flip a coin heads or tails and get heads 18 times in a row ? If you did get beat, it would be the most sickest bad beat in the history of all bad beats.

its very possible to lose 18 times in a row, especially since your chance to win is 33.333 and not 50%

ive lost 18times in a row plenty of times, and thats playing 50%, and ive seen it happen more then once,

so 33.333% it would happen way more often,

i play a different strategy, where i bet .000001 and double my bet on losses, and half my bet on wins, and i look for a very odd pattern or something very unlikely to happen, like when it goes back to betting 1 after a while, or when a very strange sequence or very rare pattern,

at that moment i would bet instead of .00001 i would bet lets say .001 for that time ofcourse if lost i would double until win, and then go back to .00001, but this too didnt work for me because after a while i get tired out, also i start to lose focus,

i did happen to make 200-300 dollars a day for a few days with my method, but i did loose it all on a different day when i began getting either greedy or was too tired to play correctly or maybe stressed from real life events caused me to play with more risk or even play completely off, and at that moment is when i loose it.

so i concluded to not gamble anymore, i still feel tempted to, maybe one day when i have my irl things set in order and i am more at peace with myself i would be able to concentrate better, and then i might go back to making money this way rofl Smiley

but hey, what ever works works! and may the luck be with you!

I made a coinroll.it bot that utilized the martingale betting strategy - I put about 0.1 in the account originally, that hit approximately 1.95BTC before LOSING EVERYTHING. When you bet hundreds of thousands of times, martingale WILL fail you.

Got it to run... Only problem is I couldn't get it to stop.... It lost the .05 BTC I gave it after turning it into .068 BTC..

I hit stop.. It kept betting.. lost it all. :/

This probably happened because you didn't put a delay between your bets. If the site says "dice is already rolling. are you playing from multiple locations?" or something like that, when you hit stop, it'll probably roll another few times because the script already sent the site the order to roll.
You can fix this setting a delay via de script (search for the word delay and change it) or in your account via just dice "When rolling, delay my results by ... seconds".
This was happening to me too, after changing the delay it's all good now.

And what happened to the pastebin of the script? I wanted to show my friend but it now says "This paste has been removed!" Sad

Nice job, but I have to say the idea of having a bot that gambles for you is pretty stupid. Everyone knows that there is no winning strategy, right? So, a gambling bot is just a way to lose money while you sleep.
Bet-limits. I made 50 bucks off it, until I got cocky. You can have it run, and run but set a bet limit of say, 0.003, so the most you can lose at one given time is just 30 cents. That, and with a 45% win chance, you win 'roughly' every other bet, but that extra 5% adds extra funds to account for losses.

I didn't quite follow how the 55% chance of losing adds extra funds. Are you saying that you have a method for winning, or a method for losing less?

well, rather than a 49.5% chance of winning, which gives you 2x your bet, 45% gives you 2.2x. that extra .2x ads up when you win, but doesn't take more away from you when you lose. With a martingale strategy, you can account for your previous losses, and add extra. Say my bet start is 0.00001. If I lose, it will double to 0.00002, and then keep doubling until it wins. so, I could lose 0.0001, then lose 0.0002, but on my third I win with a 0.0004 bet, so I make 0.00042, which accounts for all previous losses, plus extra. My bet limit is 0.003, so I need roughly 8 or 9 losses in a row for my bets to hault and restart, and then I have to eat that 0.003 loss. Luckily, that doesn't happen very often. What's even less probable is having two 8-9 loss streaks in a row, so after losing 8 in a row, and eating the 0.003 loss, I could up my bet limits to 0.001, or 0.0001, and raise the bet limit a bit as well, or even just do it manually at that point. When I regain my losses (which happens very quickly) then I readjust to my lower start bet, and lower bet limit. but, that extra 0.2x is constantly building up for each win you accumulate in the meantime.

It's much better than just sitting there clicking the button 1 million times, and much more effective than just 1 or 2 big bets.

It seems to me that the purpose of gambling is to experience the fun of taking a chance and seeing the outcome. If you have a bot gambling for you then the experience is gone, so what is the purpose?

Oh no, the experience is still definitely there. I don't just hit run and walk away. I generally watch the numbers move. Set my parameters, hit the run button and see how things unfold. Sometimes you may see a pattern emerge and want to tweak your bot a bit here and there too. (gamblers fallacy, I know Tongue) It actually adds some extra thrill to it seeing 100 bets run, rather than just a couple. It also *seems* to add an extra layer of strategy that I enjoy. I suppose it all comes down to preference though.
