You're right, he would get 28 activity points in only few days (or even few hours) because he posted in 2 different periods.
To be more precise, it's because he posted at least one message in each of the 2 different periods (28 activity would be also reached with just 1 post on 22.12 and 27 posts on 24.12).

Or vice versa Smiley
He can post 27 posts on 22.12 and 1 post on 24.12 and still he would get 28 activity.
This scheme also works.

I was not sure..

So let's take 23rd of Dec.

If someone will open an account 22nd of Dec and till 24th of Dec will post 28 posts (22.12 - 14 posts + 24.12 - 14 posts) - he should get 28 activity points in 3 days or even less.. Thats just my thoery Smiley

Activity is related to status, this is an unusual example of these two heroes agreeing about something
The next logical step would be to cut the status of people who haven't posted in X time interval.
You can't be a Hero if you've not posted the past week, you can't be Senior if you've not posted the past month. It'd help with the buying/hacking old accounts to prop scams.
This.
Hmm interesting.. But this can happen, or this is just talking?

It was just talking, at least until now.

Hi, i have 51 posts and only 14 activity, but i saw guy who have 16 posts and 16 activity.. how?

You can receive a maximum of 14 activity each 2 week period, so that user was active for at least 4 weeks.

I think to have 16 or even 28 points (theoretically at the beginning) two or three days, can be enough. 2-week period opens and closes in Tuesday. So if someone open an account on Monday and till Wednesday write 28 posts - can gain 28 activity points. Just don't know which Tuesday open this 2-week period Smiley

It's easy, because there is the schedule of 2-week periods up to the end of the world:)
Current period started yesterday, December 9th 2014 at 10:13:20 AM

The upcoming periods will start:
December 23rd 2014   10:20:00 AM
January 6th 2015   10:26:40 AM
January 20th 2015   10:33:20 AM

I was not sure..

Each post give you 1 activity, but it's limited to 14 activity per 2 weeks.

Yes of course. But this 2-weeks period is starting in Tuesday (i think), so if someone open an account in monday and in this same day will write 14 posts and in wednesday 14 posts more, can have 28 activity points..

Yes he will, because he has posted 14 times in each of the two 14 day periods, but that's only a one off hit, it will hardly influence anyone.
The only relevance of the <----- post or activity count for me is if it is a very new account in a lively thread.
If I want to know more about a poster I read his profile, scan his past posts and ALL his trust feedback.

Exactly. Smiley

See https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/til-activity-does-not-work-on-precisely-2-week-intervals-interval-timings-582736 for activity timings. There is a certain time for activity updates, for example today.
