Day-trading is not worth and you won't be able to survive to the daily pressure that will occur day by day, especially when you decided you wanna make a living of it.
I have been trading for more than 25 years, tried day-trading about 15 years ago during the Internet boom but quickly realized this will never suit my way of living and for sure damage my private life. Thus, after so many years, I realized the best thing is long-term trading, that's the way that will make you rich. Do you really thing, a guy like Warren Buffet became rich with day-trading ? No, he used long-term, buying often, especially during crash, sold when he made his goals and his real secret is quiet simple: he scheduled his I/O.
Now, I have a solid portfolio of shares that makes me a nice 6-7% a year which keeps on growing, helped by the compound.
Bitcoin was added to this portfolio using a long term strategy which yield to a very nice 35% of profit last year. For sure, this won't happen every year, but I am confident and trust my good friend: time.
You are right, haste makes waste. Traders looking for fast profit, fast fortune becomes poor very fast. The long term is the best option for a solid profit. The 35% profit you said was very good, for those who had patience to wait for the right time.
This year, probably the profit won't be so big like that, but it will worth for sure. Hold during the year and check the profit you can do in the end, that is what I say.
