Increasing "holdings" means accumulation, no dump involved since the purpose is to increase your stash. It's fine if you sold it but to be able to acquired it again, basically you need to buy it.

You know it's really difficult for newbies to understand the fundamentals the simple term of "buy low sell high method". But believed me, once you continue to do trades, you will be able to understand what is that all about.

You don't need any article or videos. Just used your common sense and read stuffs on the internet. You can do your own analyzation. Just be serious. Goodluck,

If you want to increase the price of your token came from bounty
Patience is your need because token rewards came from bounies are depends the success of the project
Selling if token or coins came from bounty reward are good ideas if you think you need it to trade in the market

Yes I understand. you want to use the results of your bounty to trade so that it does not disappear uselessly. actually a lot of articles for learning trade. reading charts, how to determine candles, patterns, support, lines. but it's better to find someone who can guide directly. because they can explain more details. if you study alone, then prepare capital for testing. and don't be afraid of losses. just search on google how to read candles and charts.

There are different types of strategies for boosting portfolio value. I mainly prefer to liquidate positions which already matched my expected profit line and selling one token for another is like jumping to unknown stage. Sectorial chart analyse let me to hold better ERC20 tokens and buying decreased value of coin/tokens.

As for it's still good to buy trusted coins in the market right now while we're experiencing bearish market. Because of that it's a basic way of picking good coins, and the opportunity from that strategies will provide us strong holdings and the capability of increasing greater profit is there already.

Yup, holding for the long term has always been a viable strategy in crypto and it will continue to be a good strategy. Obviously not all coins will go up in price and you shouldn't expect a significant amount of the coins you hold to go up in price, but holding is a viable option over selling as soon as possible, especially when you recognize potential in a coin or token. Holding takes mental willpower and you need to know when you wish to cash out so you aren't left holding too long, so it takes experience just like anything else in life, but it's a good skill to have.

What I do with my participation rewards is JUST SELL them. That's it. That's the end of it. I often find myself running out of funds or decent token to sell because of this pattern. I end up being so broke I cant even afford to repurchase even just a little percentage of the token I sold. It's becoming a habit and I hate it.

I only know 1 thing: Buy low, Sell high. But even that is not enough.

look at the price of all the cryptos,

ETH was worth more than $ 1000 and today it's $ 200

BTC was worth more than $ 19,000 and today it's $ 6000

as you can see. There are a lot of people who are losing money right now, but these people are not panicking and will hold their coins till they one day have a profit. You are being too hasty when you sell with losses, this is your mistake

Strategy is what you need to device. Depending on your strategy, if it is to increase your BTC holding, then you're on the right track. Selling off immediately isn't such a bad idea, so there are so many junk tokens and projects now. You could also choose to invest the proceeds from bounty on established alts to increase your holding in those coins

I can't say I'm new coz I've been doing bounties for 10 months now, BUT I still don't know how to increase my holdings until now.

So let's just say I'm still a newbie. I guess this post and the comments will greatly benefit those who are in my shoes now...

Can someone please comment or help me get started.

What is that one article or video that have guided you before when you were just starting to BUY and SELL. What words of wisdom can you share with me??

If you want that to happen then try to join a lot of bounty campaigns and get some new coins from there. It would not be always good but you are going to be lucky sometimes with it.

You should equip yourself with a recognition skill for ICO projects. If you have been in this market for 10 months, you will know how to identify any good projects. You will have experience in holding tokens. But in my opinion, I never hold my token. I will sell them and will buy back the potential altcoins in the top 10 to hold.

If you are a type of person who do earn and spend on things unwisely then this would always be the case would you experience.Im also a bounty hunter and I do sell
off immediately on my coins as long it got listed on exchangers but I don't like to buy things or wants because I'm thinking to diversify the money you had earned into
more good altcoins in the market or just simply converting them to bitcoin and wait up for sometime. If you don't have the discipline on yourself about good money management then
you would really be got stuck on your current condition.

You need to spend more time learning and gaining experience. Not so many projects are good but those token you earn, you could sell them buy much better coins and established projects like EOS,NEM etc Then you can decide use the advantage of volatility to do day trading or Hold them no matter how much you run out of fund because am pretty sure 2-3 years from now, the value of this good coins is set to rise. Patience is key. Don't be scared of loosing, Gain Experience.  Wink

You really need a little more knowledge in TA to know when to buy low and sell high and with that you can always increase the no of your token , and that is how I do mine too, I sell with 4h chart at high and wait for it to come down the line to buy back which will give some little more coin to my old holding and I see that as a profit.

I think before you sell rewards from bounty, you have to know how the development progress of the project, so you will get an imagine of whether the token that you hold has a chance to the moon or not, if it doesn't have progress, just sell and make it as your trading capital

The answer is actually very simple: by trade!

Many people would recommend this, of course, but I would like to point out here at a low price is not to be sold at a high price. The point to be considered here is to use the right tools to get the right operation and to generate income from it.

If you want to increase your income or your cryptocurrency holdings, seriously. Go get a job instead; and simply use a percentage of your wages to purchase the cryptocurrency of your choice. Collecting bounties and spamming social media probably could sustain your finances for now, but long term? Maybe, maybe not. Trading is not as easy as you thought, and there is no like "secret guide to be a pro at trading" or something. It comes with experience. Before you become experienced, expect A LOT of losses.

Selling them is not necessarily bad. Most of the tokens out there are not going anywhere as the teams never manage to deliver what they promised.

Investing in random coins and tokens just for the sake of increasing your holdings without doing any research etc. won't get you anywhere. So if you're selling your tokens to bitcoin for example and then keep hodling, you're actually doing good.
