With 1000 USD to invest in Altcoins, I think you should divide it into 2 categories:

Category 1 is a safe category, you should choose large capitalization coins with high safety such as ETH, ADA, Link, Matic... (50-70% of the total amount)

Category 2 is a riskier category, you can choose Altcoins with lower capitalization, the safety will not be equal to category 1 but in return the level of profit will be much higher. In this category, if you have time to learn, you can buy a few coins in different fields such as RWA (Ondo), Restaking (ENA), Layer 2 (Manta), POW (ETHW)...

One thing to note is that you should consider portfolio 1 as a mandatory portfolio because of its safety, it helps you feel more secure when allocating to portfolio 2. In addition, you should not spread your investments too much. coin. With a capital of 1k USD, I think the most reasonable is about 5 coins or less. Spreading too much money over a small amount will make it difficult to manage your portfolio.

Investing is inherently risky, but going in without a plan or knowledge to back it up is a sure recipe for trouble. There will always be people shilling their favorite currency, hoping you will jump on board. The best attitude is to do your own research, understand the risks involved and only invest what you can afford to lose. If you are not sure, Delay investing because it is not a bad idea. It's always better to be safe than lose it all! Goodluck
Delay is dangerous whenever we have good entries, it's advisable not to hesitate but keep trying to invest in all round investment and see evidence. Altcoins are promising and prominent in the system. We should guide ourselves to be doing the estimated research before investing them, mind you not all of them will make the require earninings. There's always risks to take whenever we're in the space, that alone will push us to have good earnings in the system.

You did not even bring suggestions so forum members can help you do a comparison. You’re asking for opinions so you should make it easy for one to give the opinion. Also, there are different types of altcoins, even memecoins which can be profitable, yet risky to invest in. I think you should do your research, come back with some selections and ask about the ratio in how you can split the $1k.

You'd hear this often; diversify it. No one is certain of what's best to invest. If you have high risk appetite then try engaging to meme tokens wherein there are many to choose from, just take note of high market price volatility. If you're into long term holding then of course there will be ETH, SOL, and the likes as options. It is a lazy doing if you will only rely on others' opinion. You can have your own research of the tokens to be suggested in this discussion and decide for yourself which would suit you well. Many people could suggest any token they have invested into but take note of the fact that they have invested earlier than your actual entry, also with differences in capital. You cannot expect the same outcome to be honest so just do you.
Before asking this question you should have enough knowledge about alt coins yourself.  Because you need to research which coin you want to invest in and how safe it is.  Because not all alt coins are safe.  Most of the alt coins are scams. If you invest without doing your research, you are likely to lose. So learn more about the coin yourself and then invest.  So you can invest in BTC instead of investing in alt coin. It's more reliable. It's your personal opinion though.
Frauds are in newly released projects. Tokens which are listed to big exchanges are most likely safe to invest but won't be safe from sudden price decline. Aside from choosing a coin to invest, you should also know what's best to do in any market behavior to avoid loss occurence due to misjudgement on things.

That would depend on the risk appetite that you have. If you want to buy 10 alts, then you can decide to put $100 each and then you can hope for the altcoins that you bought to increase in price. When diversifying, you are already spreading your risk toward the possibility of losing.

Anay place we want to invest money into, it is important we do research and study the token before investing funds their.
I know many friends that had lost money due to investment in bad projects that does not worth their time.
It is good we look for tokens that has been in the market for a longer time before now so that we don't put money on low liquidity tokens that will make us to regret of ever investing in cryptocurrency. We should always do findings before any investment or else we could lose funds.

How to invest i mean how to diverse 1000

On altcoins how much to buy of each coin?!

In safe way and profitable
If you want to take less risk then you should decide to invest in Bitcoin. It seems that you are a newbie, so it is best for newbies to invest in Bitcoin and hold for a long time. Now if you want to invest in altcoins you have to take high risk. You don't invest in altcoins for high profits. You can invest mostly in Bitcoins and along with investing in Bitcoins you can also invest in some of the popular altcoins in the market. My suggestion is (Bitcoin 50% Ethereum 25% BNB 10% Solana 15%), invest in these coins.

In fact, if you want to invest you have to do your own research first, if you already have a choice then ask for input here. If you ask like that without mentioning altcoins, you will get a lot of input on which altcoin you would invest in with the $1000 you have, making you confused yourself, the advice you receive will be different because there are quite a lot of altcoins.

But what is clear is that if you want to be safe and profitable, you can allocate your funds to ETH %50, BNB %30, and SOL %20 because these three Altcoins have good potential for the future. If you don't understand altcoins yet, avoid new altcoins and of course meme coins because the risk is very high if you can't analyze them well. However, whatever your altcoin of choice, prioritize investing in bitcoin.

Lol, I came here looking for a strategy to follow. Anyway, my opinion would be to first invest in Bitcoin. Let's assume you've already invested in Bitcoin and you have an extra $1000 to spare, I'd say to invest $400 ETH, $300  Ravencoin, $200 in Litecoin, and $100 spare for various( of course not just one) coins of quick pumps and tokens. This last one is risky that's why the allotted case to it is smaller.

And again, if by the time of reading you realize that there are better coins out there, I'd say you ditch mine for what you want. but let it be in the allotted amount according to the highest-paid coin.

Before investing, the investor should observe where he is interested. He need to chose a good platform. We know that altcoins are risky to invest but still if someone wants to invest in 1K then I would directly suggest him to invest in those projects that have their own blockchain. Those who are fundamentally strong. Because there are some projects in altcoins that if you invest in them and hold them for a long time, there may be a crisis of existence. Moreover, there are many suspicions of altcoins and it is difficult to identify which coins are scams. However, if you invest in top level projects such as Ether, BNB or Sol, the investor will not lose all his money. I would definitely give Ether the highest priority when it comes to investing in altcoins.Investing in this platform allows an investor to be risk-free and has the potential to reap great rewards in the future.

Hey mate if you are brand new and have no idea about investing then I would say take time and get enough experience in investment relationship then invest. If you are not very experienced in investment then you can not bring success of that investment by investing. There are certain strategies of investing which must be followed otherwise you will never succeed in investing.

There are thousands of coins to invest in. Which coins you invest in is your personal choice. If you invest in low cost coins you can get a lot of coins per dollar. Again if you invest in higher priced coins then you can get small amount per dollar it will mainly depend on the price of the coin.

If you rely on Bitcoin and Ethereum to invest, your investment will be highly dependent, and if you rely on others altcoins (such as Shitcoin), there will be more risk. But I would always say to go with top coins and not to go with shitcoins because top coins will keep you much safer.

OP, it seems you dont have nay altcoin in mind and that we cant choose for you. I may consider ETHFI, SOL and BOMO if i were you but am not advising you to invest in them. This is because you have to make your own decision when it comes to investment. It is good to listen to opinions but it is compulsory you make your decisions based on your level of income so that you wont invest what you cant afford to lose. I would suggest you continue learning more about altcoins by so doing you will find the ones you are interested in and you would know how much you will choose to allocate into them inside the 1k disposable fund.

Op please tell in simple grammar because as it is, I am confused of how to respond or to start. Well let me also beat around the bush to answer your question. If you looking for an investment platform when you can invest with $1000 from among the altcoins then I will make a little list for you to see. And Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin and finally Eloncoin and among all Eloncoin has the minimum wage to invest in and it has promising life in the future so your profit making is very much sure to come. Ethereum and Solana are also good but for now their network is congested so if you are investing in them, the amount you will get will not big enough so I will advise you to invest either in Eloncoin or Dogecoin.

What cryptocurrency do you want to buy? Is it Bitcoin? meme coins? layer2 coins? or top altcoins in the market? You didn't specify which one you really want to have. Do you want to divide the $1,000 you have into five cryptocurrencies?

If you want to make sure that you will earn, you can make 500 dollars in bitcoin and do that with the 500 dollars that are left. Divide the 250 dollars in SOL and the 250 dollars that you allocate to Pepe or Bome. This is just my suggestion.

Personally, I would have invested 50% of that 1k to bitcoin and then I’ll distribute the rest to altcoins.

It honestly depends on which altcoins you want to invest in. I wouldn’t advise investing 10% each. That’s too much altcoins. You can do 25% and 25% or 35% and 15%. You can also split it in three ways if you would like. 20%, 15% and 15%.

You decide depending on how well you think a specific altcoin would perform. Diversification is okay but too much can make you lose focus. I find that just focusing on a few coins at a time works well.

1k is good enough amount to at least hold a relatively stable and proven assets unsteady of risking it trying to diversify with altcoins because from my experience, it seems that altcoins have no viable investment future and the risk of losing all the investment is higher with altcoins.

So if I may suggest, I will say then you put the budget on bitcoin and then look for a solid coins like Ethererum to hold as an alternative to the bitcoin.

You need to detail a little more how you want it. For short, medium, long term? What purpose? Large risk?(memecoins) Low risk?(consolidated currencies) Medium?(launches or projects with large activities...)

It really depends on your profile, don't go into anything to avoid harming yourself.

This will depend on how many altcoins you have in mind to buy. If you’re investing such large amount of money in altcoins, make sure you invest more in those coins that show a sign of long term potential than the ones that don’t. Most altcoins are just pump and dump and can only make you rich within a short period of time and not really advisable for long term holding. I will arrange them in a scale of importance and invest more in those that are more promising than those that are still under doubt and not convincing enough to invest in.
