I'm not expert also but what I do is keep reading more articles about bitcoin and observing the price movement , For me basic is most important before leveling up, Investing is one of the way to make more earnings but also you need to invest effort,time and patience.
Knowledge is the best key and this is what we need to all we do, like investing when you have knowledge you will know what is the best thing to do and you avoid doing wrong.

If you have fiat money then you can buy bitcoin directly from exchange sites as I prefer to buy it on localbitcoins as it is the safest place to buy bitcoins and if you don't have capital to invest then you need to start looking for different methods of earning it and in future you can invest those earnings in trading
It is better for me to just earn it rather than buy it, bitcoin is a really great cryptocurrency and there are things or ways that we can use in order to get some bitcoin like joining a signature campaign and also doing freelance in different sites and accept bitcoin as a mode of payment. Sometimes, it is not all about the money to invest into something because sometimes, it is something that you have that you can sacrifice or use in order to get what you want.

If you love to take a risk you can get a debt from a bank. I know it is risky but i earned %220 profit with taking a debt in a 1 month. 
Get accustomed to investing and do your research first. Then i'd start out with smaller amounts of money; lets say 10% of whatever you want to invest in total and buy BTC in a strategic way, e.g. every week a certain amount of money, 10 weeks long. that way you get a certain cost-average effect into it. just my personal approach, and I'm happy w/ it.

If you are a beginner and trying to start investing in bitcoin is you have to take it seriously. Investing in Bitcoin is open to everyone and its not a joke. Investing may seem scary, but know that it takes time and effort to understand how Bitcoin works. You have to deal with the risk. But then its all worth it (investing) after all. Try to do some research regarding in investment plan and strategy this will help you learn and gain more knowledge.

To invest, you have to buy some bitcoin. First, register to an exchange that allows your country, deposit some money, and buy bitcoinS. Or you can also rent your signature and get paid in bitcoin. Sign up in a signature campaign in the service section, wear their signature and they will pay you bitcoin with every quality post you make. Just investor doesn't need knowledge for investing in bitcoins. What should they do is to check for good and reliable wallet, buying bitcoins is not easier before, after buying send bitcoins in that wallet and you are holding bitcoins and you are investor of you plan to hold it for some time and then sell it back when bitcoin price rise. Knowledge is needed if you wish to earn or multiply your bitcoin, or investment, then you need to know what you are doing or you will lose everything you have.

Without exprience in investing in Bitcoin I think you only should spend some amount of money to buy some amount of Bitconi then you just need to hold it for few years. It's the easiest way to make money with Bitcoin but it'll take really long time for you to earn much money by this way if the capital you invested at the start not so big. Beside if you want to earn by holding, you need to find out a good wallet to keep your Bitcoin and I suggest hardware wallet like Trezor or ledger nano s, they're the best wallet for now.

For me before you invest in bitcoin you should study first all of the information needed and you must read and read all the forums here then you are ready to go or purchase bitcoin but you must remember in trading and buying bitcoin the word of buy low sell high goodluck and enjoy bitcoin
