I just started bounty few days ago, but the replies I'm seeing here are really discouraging me. It seems I'm late to this bounty of a thing.

I don't understand there are so many bounty in bounty section. Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?
The video that you saw on YouTube, was it new or old? Because bounty campaigns used to be profitable and worth the efforts, but those days are long gone, and nowadays, most of the bounty campaigns literally pay dust in the name of compensation for your efforts because they will pay you with their tokens and most of those tokens never even make it into the market and the projects die off either because of lack of marketing or a responsible team.

You can still join bounty campaigns and earn tokens but those tokens will barely be worth anything and you will just be wasting your time providing free promotion to the projects you are working for. This is the reason why a lot of bounty hunters stopped chasing bounties and started looking for alternative ways of earning money.

Do not be lured with everything you saw on YouTube. Some are just there to take an edge over your innocence and steal your money in the end. And take note, gone are the golden days for bounties. If there are several who do bounties these days, I don’t think they’re still profitable just like before. However, if you do it as your side hustle, that’s your choice. But never expect a lot from bounties, they may be tempting to our ears but never put all your trust into so you won’t be scammed in the end.

Correct. Does this youtuber had a link to this forum or had only referral link in video description. If this video was not a description on youtubers vision of any project, then the only goal he has followed was getting subscribers/views/referrals. OP can try to earn from bounty campaigns from this forum, but currently only way to earn here are running own service or participation in signature campaigns. Bounty campaigns are just the way to kill time, get familiar more with crypto and test luck.

The concept behind bounties is their teams use tokens that can be minted from thin air to run their bounties as bounty rewards. Even bounty hunters receive those promised tokens from bounties, they still have risk that those tokens mean nothing on the market in value.

A bigger risk for bounty hunters is, teams are free to run away and refuse all responsibility to distribute tokens at the end. If their fund raising process is failed, if their project is flagged as scam by communities, they will have no reason to even spend ETH or BNB as transaction fees to distribute zero value tokens.
~snip~

It seemed unfair to me from the first moment I heard about bounty campaigns, and that's why I've never participated in such things because the risk factor is simply too great compared to the possible reward. The problem is that most of those who participate in such campaigns do not understand this risk and are often disappointed in the end when they receive nothing or some worthless tokens.

Regardless of the fact that some will disagree because they have personal financial benefits from all of this, I somehow look at it as using those who are desperate enough and also uneducated as cheap or even completely free labor. We can also call it modern internet slavery without any reservations, no matter how ugly it sounds.

What are you really up to?? Joining a bounty so you can begin spamming the whole forum like the rest of your co- degenerates do? I don't even understand what the forum is turning into this days...
You've barely got a single merit nor post count and this is suddenly the resolutions you came up with??... I'd advise that you go back into your shell and think twice - let's assume this to be a question outta curiosity,..next time, you may not be this Lucky.

Right now, I'll suggest that trying to find Bounty to join is a waste of time because so many of the projects entering the cryptocurrency industry are fraud projects. Even if you try to participate, it's possible that you won't be compensated for the labor you perform; in fact, some projects might even pay you, but the rewards will be worthless tokens.

I've heard of some people who have made a ton of money through Bounty, but that was during the bull run, and again, at that time, there weren't many people involved in Bounty, so there were only occasionally a few members participating. However, now that there are many people in that Bounty section, I can't say that even during incoming bull run bounty may make that more sense again. I'll say that even the video you're referring to is not a recent video.

Bounty is a part of the job that can make money for every participant who joins it because in it there are several campaigns that will be promoted according to the rules written on the bottom page. So, because every campaign has basic rules that have been written by the Bounty manager himself on the front page or the first page, every participant must read and understand these rules well before you or anyone who wants to join in and become part of the participants.

And you don't need to be confused about knowledge because every bounty or campaign manager has provided rules and how to participate in it so you only need to read it and prepare the data needed so you can register yourself in it. When viewed in another parable, it is not much different when someone wants to work for a company in the field of promotion so he must be willing to follow the existing rules and also prepare the files needed by the company. Quite simple isn't it?

There are more than enough bounties you can participate in, but then you have to know that this forum is not scam moderated, which means you need to make your research very well as much as possible, then know that whate transpired between you and any bounty campaign or organizations is at your own risk, quite alright some make money through bounties but they might not have told you the risk involved also.

Gone are the days when bounties were highly profitable. While some aspects of what you've seen may hold true, the reality is not as straightforward. I'm not asserting that there's no longer money to be made through bounties, but the chances of making money have diminished significantly. Nowadays, most of the projects being promoted operate with limited budgets and there's a considerable risk of them turning out to be scams that target investors. Engaging in such opportunities might lead to a waste of your time.

If your goal is to earn, consider participating in bounties that offer payment in USDT or any stablecoins managed by a reputable bounty manager—someone who has a track record of successfully running bounties and ensuring timely payments.

OP I will suggest you put effort in reading and learning first before thinking of bounty because if you had some that, you would be more enlightened and making choices for your start here would not be a thing of asking questions or this nature because in the course of reading you must have come across similar questions of this nature you have asked here.

Although there is nothing wrong if you want or decided to go for bounty hunting but just like other posters has said about it, that is the reality. It is sometimes not worth the stress and efforts. Some of the bounty projects sometimes turns out to be a scam and at there entire end, you are not paid for your services after your commitment and engagements. So it would be nice you  take your time to read through and build your capacity to contribute so as to grow in ranks and be more knowledgeable about Bitcoin. Not only that, you will have knowledge on how to avoid scam projects and also how to protect your assets and lots more you can think of in Crypto space.

Someone who deals in cryptocurrency trading should have at least a little understanding of the concept behind bounty campaigns. Unfortunately, we once again see how the influence of social networks brings people to the forum with only one goal, and that is to try to earn something, without actually doing anything but copy/pasting links from morning to night and hoping to get the promised reward.

I know that some will say that there are bounty campaigns where you can make some money, but that's like looking for a needle in a haystack - not to mention the moral side of promoting such projects that mostly fail or turn out to be scams.
They do this because they think it is easy to complete bounty tasks and hope that tokens they receive will have high prices in a bull run but they must know

How many cryptocurrencies have failed?

Personally I am new to forum not to crypto trading industry. So I will say that after halving is a good time. Because than it might or will explode crypto and it will be a good time.

Bounties are no longer profitable these days so I don’t suggest new members to participate in bounty hunting. Probably the one you saw in YouTube is just a heck of scammer that invites you to create an account and then he’ll  guide you along the way. If you really want to find out about bounties, then have your own research. Do not just easily believe on the people you met online as most of them are frustrated bounty hunters and end up scamming other people for their own financial benefits.

It is not a bad idea to make money. I mean everyone needs money in order to take good care of themselves and the family, pay health care services and lots more depends on money. If you don't have money, you will not live a good life and your desire to make money is not a bad questure, but I have two things to tell you.

  • Bounty hunting paid in the early days of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Currently there are a lot of scam projects and there is high tendency that you will work and they may not pay you.
  • I've never visited the Bounty section which means there are many people that doesn't know the Bounty section and yet they earn here. You could decide to look the other way instead of the Bounty that brought you here.

So your obsession with joining the Bitcointalk forum is just to get money from the Bounty Campaign? I do not recommend that you place the Bounty Campaign as your main goal in joining this forum. Open your eyes wide once you are here, you can take something more valuable than the Bounty Campaign.
I advise you to exclude the Bounty Campaign as your goal for joining here, explore all the knowledge that can increase your insight on how to actually forum. Focus on increasing the account rank by contributing to the forum by producing quality posts, you will get much bigger from the Bounty Campaign once your account rank is at the Full Member point.

What was the year that youtube video was published? I think it wasnt published in 2022-2023, as we barely have bounties in general and in bounties we have, video campaigns are rare also.

In short, join any bounty, do tasks that are asked, wait for token dostribution, wait for token listing. Last two stages is when you might be scammed. Either you wont receive anything, or tokens wont cost anything. Dont create big hopes on bounty and rewards. As today, chances to earn are extremely low.

So far I have no experience with bounties, but during my time on this forum I often read the experiences of many people, especially in my local council. They all advised not to focus on bounties because bounties are now said to be a waste of time.
Maybe you should read one by one the replies from friends above, because they all suggest and provide the best solution for you to be able to make money from this forum.

You should focus on exploring this forum more deeply so that you understand better and later you will get the answers you want. One way to get a sure income on this forum is to learn more about the forum rules and make constructive posts so that later you get Merit. By collecting Merits, you can then take part in signature campaigns with BTC payments.
During push his account level is not wrong participating in several bounties campaign due he can't join with signature service campaign like you, OP will get more experienced and earn several coins kinds from bounties campaign until his account reach minimum rank for participating in signature campaign service. OP needs longer time due his account level still newbies and beside push up account level not only from activities but also OP need make good qualities post to earn merit.

There are have board with publishing about running campaign, OP allowed for participating in social media campaign, YT campaign until become content creator campaign, but need to push account activities because several campaign running right now have minimum activities allowed for participating in bounty campaign.

There is a big difference between sharing an anonymous account with limited influence and a YouTuber who has thousands of followers. These YouTubers can pay them in dollars or bitcoin and may pay them thousands of dollars, while they will pay you with some worthless tokens.
There are more than 1.8M Cryptos, and their marketing plans will not only focus on the forum, but also on YouTube, considering that everyone is it and even that most of the unique visits to the forum come from it.

Make yourself valuable, invest in yourself, develop your responses, and make your account worth paying for it in dollars or bitcoin.

This forum don't encourage bounty hunters because they will not have time to learn what was the purpose for creating the forum which is bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large. They will only care about how to login and meet up with their daily airdrops. A bounty hunter can be in the forum for ten years and wouldn't know where the bitcoin discussion board is or have any idea of what is going on in the forum.

This makes their membership here irrelevant and they will end up as shit posters which is an offensive act in the forum. I could understand that airdrops pays are cool way back but presently, they are waste of time and some of them ends up being a scam. Learn bitcoin and grow in knowledge and rank so that you can get to a full member rank where you can join a signature campaign.

You are correct, I don't believe that bounty is being discussed here. Since I have been reading through many posts, I have not come across any that mention bounty in this forum. From what I can tell, the topics that are discussed here are how to learn about cryptocurrencies and other related topics, such as buying bitcoin or running a signature campaign. Bounty is a campaign that involves social media and the earning of a token that is given to the bounty, but it is not discussed here. The only campaign that can earn you money on this site is signature, and before you can participate in any other campaign, you must first understand more about bitcoin and some other aspects of the cryptocurrency industry. This will give you the confidence to debate anything in the forum anywhere.

Additionally, in order to participate in a signature campaign, you must have merit. However, obtaining merit in a forum is not something that can be done quickly; you must first make a post or participate in a discussion that convinces other forum users to award you with merit. Without merit, I don't think  you will be able to successfully complete a signature campaign, so I advise you to learn more about the forum and become familiar with it before getting involved in any activities.
