People have stated the obvious here, which is don't scam and also don't ask for loans with out valid collateral.  I put valid in bold because people get their fur ruffled when Vod or whoever comes along and paintjobs them when they offer their Lego constructor set as collateral on a 90 btc loan.  So I won't repeat those suggestions.

One that I will bring up is:  If you're looking for perfect trust, fucking forget it.  If that's your goal, then don't piss anyone off here.  Don't disagree with anyone and don't call anyone out on scams.  Hell, I could fill up your trust page with red just because I felt like it and there's nothing anyone could do.  And trolls have done this to me, that's why I bring it up.  So you probably ought to lower your standards a bit.

You might be able to acquire green trust over time by doing deals with people on the default trust list, but it doesn't come easily.

Edit:  Look at the post above me by lionproof, and try to avoid shitposting like this.

I'd say just follow rules of the forum, you can find them here: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

And also avoid things which are considered immoral by the community, I made a little list about that here: Things not against forum rules but frowned upon by community! (Beta!)

Apart from that think of the forum as your workplace/school/neighborhood, just behave as you would behave with your friends, neighbors, colleagues.

Yea go natural all to yourself. If you think about it, your honest, and still respectful, comments and notes will help you achieve what you want. Even your negative notes, just as long as they are true, and also delivered in a very respectful manner will surely be highly appreciated.

Positive trust means you are a one model member who only do good and not ask for anything. Cheesy I means that you are actually an honest person who in the same time do things to contribute in the community. Do not farm trust, do not do anything that is against the rule and/or frowned upon in here.

Don't do things just for trust,
That's what will get you a lot of negative.
Don't scam, don't ask for loans or exchanging straight up, help out the community, etc.
If you're legit it shouldn't be a problem. Welcome Smiley
