You must search for the safe wallet that can safe your bitcoin without having worry. I suggest you to try hardware wallet, I had read more review about it and the most people recommend to use it. But for me now, I use the wallet that have private key for access my wallet, private key that just me know about it. It's up to you to find your own safety's wallet.

I haven't try using cold wallet what I used are just different online wallet because I need to make sure that just in case one of my wallet was hacked I can still keep the other but I think having a good and strong password will protect our earnings so whatever type of wallet we used it would only matter on how you protect them just be careful in giving your private keys or much better don't disclose them even with your family members.

Safety of mobile wallet is the responsibility of its user. Bitcoin`s rising price is increasing hacking activities. For hacker, hacking bitcoin wallet is the only and easiest way of collecting bitcoins. Private key is the main factor of any wallet. Always use certified bitcoin wallet. Keep your private key safe; do not store it on your computer or on mobile device. Always update firmware and antivirus updated. Hackers mainly use attractive slogans in their mails or links for hacking purpose. So do not open or click on such links. By following above instruction chances of getting hacked reduces.

One way is to use hardware wallets, they sign the transaction in the wallet and never broadcast your private key. They can be hacked though.
Second way is to use paper wallets. For ERC20 coins you can use Metamask plugin for Firefox or Chrome for extra security (it keeps the key inside the browser and never leaves it). However, if you are not careful enough you can become the victim of a fishing attack.
Third way is to use offline signing with wallets that enable it, like Electroneum or Armory. You install and create private key on an offline computer. You create the transaction online on an online computer, transfer it via USB or QR code to the offline computer, sign it there and then transfer back and broadcast. The point is that you never broadcast your private key, only your wallet number.

Use wallet that are trusted and used by many.....
Our other folk already suggested good one...
Keep your password safe if you write on the paper or on the email....
Write it on a puzzle type...... So if someone saw it it looks like a password

Guys, How to keep my wallet safe?

Where  can I buy cold wallets or what kind of services do you use?

Personally, a hardware wallet such as the ledger nano (s) or the trezor series is the best and most secure option for holding and storing your bitcoins. You may also try electrum wallet, however that is a software wallet and is prone to breakdowns if your computer crashes or dies.

However, please be in control of your private keys the whole time, and also make sure that you are keeping no funds in exchanges, as they can scam you whenever they want.

Also, don't be stupid. Do not open shady links or expose your private keys. This way, you will be fine (for sure?).

Keeping your wallet safe is a personal decision. You could chose from any wallets available but it is for you to maintain its security for a long run. For you to keep its privacy. You can first look for some background of specific wallet or some reviews to check its background. Anyways, I use offline wallets.

All of my wallet in trading sites and local exchanges have two factor authentication most commonly called as 2FA are activated in which the code is only stored in my mind  therefore i will not afraid if my username and password will be hack. Except for myetherwallet in which i need to find 2FA and to activate it also.

Just keep on divulging it on social media and be careful on the scammers who use websites on the internet to access your account and get all your money. Extra careful also on putting your details on sites that you will visit because that can be the reason also.

You can easily generate wallet from Myetherwallet.com as it is mostly used by the members of this community.
The safety assurance of your wallet is totally depend on you, how you do and where you hide the keys. Mishandling of your private, even how strong is your keys will also lead from losing your coins(hack).

use the wallet with different functions. specify the wallet used to store assets and join bounty. do not open links carelessly.

Always make sure that you keep your private keys, and try to be organize too. Avoid pishing sites and much better if you have bulk alts try to have trezor.

Use wallet exchange when needed only, eg for trading. Do not use to store all the assets you have there.
if you want to be more secure, use Trezor. Although expensive, but very safe to store your assets.

WORST ADVICE EVER, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING AN EXCHANGE WALLET.

That is the worst mistake that you can do, you can easily lose your funds if the exchange decides to scam your money.

Take a look at what happened on etherdelta a few weeks ago, they got hacked and a lot of people lost money.

Just see what happened with Mt.Gox, they stolled all's people money without any previous announcement.

Use well known and trustworthy wallets or the best exchanges with high investments behind them

You should protect your private keys / passwords(all login info) to keep your wallets safe. If somehow you leaked your p.keys/passwords then your wallets are never safe and it is very easy to hack.

Bought a Ledger Nano S to secure my cryptos. Fairly easy to use - currently using for Ethereum platform (ERC20 tokens).
As far as I know, private keys stay inside the hardware wallet's chip and not shared when making txns.
