Its difficult to know when it will going to get pumped the coin. That's why in trading it is in our hand of how are we going to predict it precisely, though its really hard. But in yobit exchange I just noticed there that if you see the color green is blinking quickly, I don't know if my thought was right, I think its pumping the coin. Try to observe it, and read the message inbox in yobit too while Pump and Dump is presently happening, Just check it out.

No, there are not people who can make prediction 100% true
usually the traders makes prediction using analysis technical and fundamental
it will help to knowing next pump the altcoins on exchangers.

Bitcoin is often pumping by the whales, acutally whales have much money, what you need is buying after a green cancle, it is the best time to buy in, after that green candle, there will be more big pump/green candle. You can read more trading skills from books, which is beneficial to your trading skills.

Yes the only thing we can do is to wait and see for ourselves is a pump is developing, that is why this forum is such a great source of news, when there is a pump there will be lots of threads speaking and speculating about why this is happening and how high it could go.

Usually pump happen when something event like halving or end of year happen. If pump happen on middle of day or week, it's called "whale bluffing" to increase bitcoin transaction volume that's why it's unpredictable. Even experienced trader, IMO it's difficult to predict bitcoin value trend

It is possible from the technical analysis of the charts. You should identify bottom and accumulation phase. Then buy as much coins as you can and wait for the pump. If the price drops below, just setup the stop order and save your Bitcoins.

On the contrary, we can predict a pump by keeping ourselves updated and by understanding the rise and fall of the market.

Waiting is an option with bitcoin but unfortunately is not really an option with many of the other coins because you run the risk of not being able to sell your coins at all if the coin dies.

This has happened to me in past many times. I bought some coins as I saw an upward trend in their price but the very next day price fall almost zero and never recovered Cheesy

I think it is almost impossible to enter the market in the right time to catch the next pump because there is a market principle that recommends "buy the rumor, sell the news". This mean that if some people would like to pump an altcoin, the simple rumor generated by this agreement would pump that altcoin with anticipation and that agreement would fail.

i think it is impossible to give 100% correct prediction about bitcoin, but i think by studying the market, the news from the Social Median and from other sources we can get good prediction about bitcoin. as currently people are hopping about bitcoin that the price of bitcoin is going to cross 1200 USD level very soon.

I guess this does not need to be true with all the altcoins, but there would be some coins which are being highly manipulated to trap other investors/traders. Well established coins are always the exceptions from this.

Yes, being a trader I am doing this up to the level I am able to. But, it would be really unfortunate to get struck in the middle of sudden pumps by inside people. Our trading strategies are helpful only to some levels, beyond that we are just unlucky traders most of the times.

Maybe the least we can do is just to predict the market based on the previous trends and get more relevant information that could help us.

My answer is exclusively for Bitcoin - because with altcoins there is too much manipulation involved.

Until now the best indicator for a "pump" (or better: a rally) was a slightly bullish stable phase with very low price volatility. In these phases long-term oriented traders often accumulate coins and wait for an uptrend. In the forums and other social media dealing with BTC trading you can spot a sentiment of "boredom" and some hope emerging but still without any signs of euphory.

The "real pump" then often begins when an important mark of the past is broken - often the last local price high (so it's basically Donchian channels based trading). That's the last chance to get cheap coins. And a pump often lasts only some days or weeks, so be sure to take profits when a major resistance line is about to fall and you are not sure if it will be broken (like the old ATH in January).

For some alts especially the new one, you can consider listening to some speculations since altcoins are heavily manipulated and a freaking speculation even coming from a troll one can triggered a price pump. On the other hand, it can applied also to price dump so better closely watch the price.

For bitcoin price, since price today already established a quite support and builds a strong resistance around any price range, it's hard to speculate if there will be the pump. But we can monitor that if there something unusual in the price behaviour based on short durations like 1d/2d/3d price monitoring.

Just to add mate better also to joined the slack of that particular project sometimes dev and some supporters give a hint whe the pump will occur but definitely theirs no real or exact date for that its still us to assess whether to buy the news or not.

Sometimes it is not so difficult to spot the cryptocurrencies that bring something really different, that have a good development and features that make such cryptocurrencies more efficient. The problem is that sometimes even the currencies that have such resources do not receive much attention, and therefore do not receive many investments, at least not too early... sometimes it takes a lot of time for the market to realize the potential that exists in some crypto.

Yes, in some group chat, people come and shout that they got reliable information on pump for one particular altcoin, but I have watched many times there would be no significant price increase. I guess people simply deceive us after they buy those coins. With a well established coins, there would be no such problems.

its difficult to know about next pump because we can not know who will be the pumper, is there only one person or a group. but i think what we can do is when the price is increase so fast and we make order sell in one range and the price is almost reach on our range, we can cancel our order sell and place in other range which is higher than our order sell before and we can do it again and again until we think its enough profit for us and we can let our range is reach by the price. but this is not always work as we don't know what will happen in the market but at least you can try this.

Yes usually this method is used to pump the altcoin price to make it reach our target price.Usually it is successful in newly released altcoins.If we see this type of activities in the buy order table, then we could guess to some extent that the price is being pumped.We could buy that coin, but be sure to follow up the price, once the traget price is achieved by the person who pumped, he would start selling his coins and immediately the price would fall down.
