I know that my idea of protecting myself from the scams is conservative thus hinders the teams who are all first time in a coin campaign but I do not get involved in a project whose team has no experience.

The only objective criteria of a project is the team's older projects for me, no whitepaper or nothing else.

many from sources say that 70% - 80% ICO is a scam. looking at whitepapers that contain all the details about ICO is too grandiose and unreasonable.
For example, the project is considered too perfect without the slightest flaw, or a very short payback period, and also part of a token / Token that is too large. their roadmap should also be clear.
so how we look and choose it should be more thorough to minimize ICO scam.
until now there has been no way to know if the ICO is a scam, we can only predict it.

First of all know the team of the project, read white paper and rules. It is advised to spend your resources in highly reputable projects with professional teams.

I easily detect a scam bounty when a project that promised to awards $7.5million did not even raised $100k. They use the method to draw the attention of many bounty hunters.

A good ICO should have a team of experts who are ready to answer your questions day and night, usually in Telegram channel. Social media are not of less importance. Before making any job for them, check the White Paper: if it’s a pleasure to read it, then – cool. Get acquainted with the details of the ICO: rights of token holders, the price of a token, the dates, and so on. The aim should be powerful, too. Otherwise, nobody will get interested.

All you need to do is read their whitepaper visit their website their social media sites like facebook, Twitter, Telegram and somtimes Reddit and Medium and most of all the mission and vision of the ICO and do some research about their ICO now i'm doing bounties only on trusted bounty Managers like Sylon, Needmoney, ColorlessKK and some bountyplatforms and search in some ICO rating sites it is very helpful when entering and doing Bounty Campaigns.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.
There is no way to tell, because these projects can turn the table easily and you wont know until they have run away.Shady businesses needs a lot of time to be successful and untraceable that is why we need to be pick with these bounties, always ask the community and other people if what they can tell about the ICO or bounty so you will have an idea if it has redflags.

Check all the details from managers down to the product or all the team members behind its projects, one also the tract record and the standing of the manager in the community.

you can get some signs of scam through some factors. First of all, reading their whitepaper will give the idea of legitimate or swindle projects. Then observe their website and project team. If they have clear ideas and good project team, then it is worth investing.

before we can know if a bounty is a scam,,we need to make use of this process,,firstly we need to be a reseacher and make a good findings before getting into any bounty,,because most bounty dont use to fufill their promise for their participant,,secondly someone need to be following such a particular bounty before getting into,,once you have all this then you will be able todetect wether the bounty is a scam or not

Bounty manager is working well or the campaigns I participate in does not give me anything because the idea of the project is good Sad

It is the project that scam, not the bounty program! so, to avoid scam you need to do research, and ensure that the project is not scam!

If the fraud is easy to spot, you can see that their telegram community is unoccupied, the community is silent and you can contact the development team directly, see the information on twitter, facebook ... etc

until now I can not tell which bounty scam is not. I just follow all the bounty and scam or not at the end of their campaign. but there to find safe you can follow the bounty in the manager by people already trusted.
You can join the bounty with famous manager like yahoo, colorlessk etc.

Today there are already many possibilities for verification: sites with a rating, you can see for yourself the persons who represent them, communicate with the manager and so on.
But the two main factors are direct communication with the manager. and see their telegraph community. Perhaps on the telegraph community it is possible to verify a fraudulent ICO, see if anyone has an activity, ask a lot of questions, and whether the admin has responded quickly.

You can not know when they scam or not. But if you consider the feasibility of the project, roadmap, whitepaper, teams good or not, then you risk less. There are some cases where your token has no value, I think it could also be called scam

Too bad that you encountered that unfortunate event. But for me, there is no 100% assurance that any ICO will turn into a scam. It can only minimize the risk by doing rigorous research. Checking their status in different review sites can also help. Knowing the people behind the project, their credibility and previous works are equally important. Actively and seriously participating in an argument in telegram can spot the difference if the admins and the CEO itself are just for the investor's money or not.
Let us all be vigilant.
