At the moment now such type of legal measure that you can judge it but doing some good search for there
real team faces
social media networks
project detail with full company address and network
and also do search for ICO on top ICO listing website where read some review about the company.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

I think it is difficult to distinguish ico that leads to scam and ico that has true potential. observation and research becomes paramount. who see and realize the potential ico that leads a scam, is the manager. yes because the manager directly interact with the team and the developer.
and for me personally have to study from time to time, because sometimes hasty conclusions can be a mistake in every investigation

I think the best thing to do when joining a bounty is to  research on the project itself. You need to know the quality of the project because, experience team wouldn't want to tarnish their image by not paying bounty participants. secondly, always select popular managers as well when doing bounty programs. It helps as well

Before joining any bounty I always take my time to research, review about them in google I will look at their team, read their whitepaper, visit their telegram group, how relevant is their project, the possibility of reaching their soft cap and the bounty manager all these put together will determine my participation.

There are many things to consider when we are looking for a reliable bounty campaign. One thing is the team when the team is very active in their social media updates. When the Pre-sale is successful there is a chance for the value of the coins to pump up in the future. The manager of the campaign is very updated on his spreadsheet updates and when he is very active to response inquiry within the thread.

If you don't like to do investigation on our own you should check on popular websites such as icoBench, topicolist, icowatchlist and see how good the projects are rated and if they are on the list on the website even.

Other include you doing proper research of team members, idea behind and all others necessary stuff.
yes i agree with that, we can check on several ICO rating. At least this minimizes your potential exposed by scam.

You can know if a bounty is a scam you can know if the dev team  has a dummy person on it or maybe a new one or doesnt have accomplishment yet and lastly if the reward is much more bigger and it looks like it will be a scam

As far as I know, even translation bounties will be paid after the ICO, same with other bounty campaigns. Don't expect those person to respond to you immediately since there are lot of participants joined the bounty. Besides, they also have to check if your translation match with the original copy and may take time since it was transferred to a different language. Anyway, just check if the bounty manager is trusted enough to run the bounty. Double check if the platform team members are real people and if they really exist on their presented field of work.

First of all it is your duty to investigate or do research on the bounty campaign you are planning to join. Don't just join without checking things first otherwise you will hit hard specially when you learned that you joined a scam ICO. Learn to always research and you can consult and ask opinions from others as well.

you can know if bounty is scam when the presentation of their project is low quality. Team member strengths is low. Search it in google in find other review of it. It may help a lot and gives you peace in your mind rather than worrying. Start searching and watch to avoid risky situation.

Of course, before you start cooperation, you need to check the project. How to check the project, I will not speak. This information you can find on the forum. But you need to understand that the risk remains always. Our task is only to reduce this risk.

You should investigate properly and try to look the members so that you can confirm if they are trusted and also you can search on the bounty if they are popular and have a good standing.

One of the important factors to check if the bounty project is a scam is to determine if the project's team is really legitimate. Check them at famous ICO websites that rates projects based on their trust ratings. Also try to do your own research and see if it is quite reliable or not.

It is not easy to check if it is a scam, I always keep an eye on the stakes spreadsheet to check if it is updated in time. Also, I will check the Telegram channel to see if there is any negative discussion about that.

You will know that the bounty and the ico is a scam if you will look at their team members and leader, if the person or people listed on the team is no publicly shown then you must trust your instincts and you will know right away that the ico and bounty is a scam, that is what I am looking for in a bounty.

I always check if the team are legit or not. Check if they are real people and not a dummy or invented name in Linkden. If those guy are a reputable people atleast you can see their names in Google when you search it specially their CEO. Then look at the project if it is worth to join and the Bounty allocation if its worth the time and effort.

Doing research is the most important thing to remember to know if the bounty is fake and not paying. If the bounty is not showing faces or the rules are not clear, investigate so that you dont waste your own time

Once you've joined, you have to take risks, but to minimize the risk, you need to look carefully at each project, as well as the views of the investors, and Then is luck, as well as your judgment. Good luck to you!
