To avoid a bounty scam, you need to find a bounty that has escrow for payment.

I have participated in bounties where managers escrow payment, but some of them ended with

1) receiving tokens that are not traded anywhere,
2) not receiving rewards, because manager hold tokens, but he was not given funds for distribution.
3) receiving tokens, but project rather quickly released new contract and refused to swap tokens.

And you can not deny the fact, that the manager can scam hunters also. What I would like to point - escrow does not guaranty success.

To avoid a bounty scam, you need to find a bounty that has escrow for payment. other than that it would be very good if you choose one of the bounty projects managed by one of the trusted managers.

For now, I can only give examples such as the bounty of seasonal tokens. This bounty is managed by Cryptobrainbross, one of the trusted members here who always presents potential bounties. In addition, this bounty also does escrow by them, so the payment is guaranteed by their team. besides that they also open up opportunities for jr members to legendary to support their projects through signature campaigns.

Well, that's how I look for good, potential, and actually paying bounties.

You can try to set notifications for posting activities in the Bounty Section of the forum, and then you can join the most reputable bounties that are available. Choose from the list given by pakhitheboss posted by kawetsriyanto. I think they are the ones who would be reliable when it comes to bounty campaigns.

You can set notifications by going to the board and clicking the "Notify" on the upper right corner of the top of the posts. After this, you will receive the notification through your registered email, and you could be the first to apply or something.

To be able to find a valid bounty campaign you have to look in my opinion among the new ones, those just released and see if their team is trustworthy and if the project has a future on the market then obviously you must also see that the bounty manager is trustworthy

Check services board you will find a lot of good signature campaign that pays Bitcoin and stick with it rather than taking chances on bounty campaign's signature campaign which the payment will be their native tokens. You are a member user and based on your previous posts there is a chance that you will be accepted in signature campaign. However, there are some bounty campaigns that pays USDT and sometimes BNB keep an eye on those bounty campaigns they are rare.

I would say, that right now the best tactics is to join every single bounty campaign that has easy tasks. You wont spend much time doing them. There are not as many bounty campaigns as there were several years ago. Every campaigns is sort of a lottery, you never know which campaign will distribute reward, gets listed, alts price will grow. So joining every campaign will only increase chances of success. Just remember, bounty campaigns should not be your main source of income and dont expect to earn much from them or become rich. Aim that they are your lunch money.

I don't think that there is a way to ensure 100% that the bounty that you are joining is from a project that is legit, but there definitely some indicators that you should be looking at to at least increase your chances of being part of a good bounty that is paying the rewards and that maybe those rewards are even worth something in the end. First of all check the obvious things; look at the website of that project, read the whitepaper, check the roadmap, look at the team and what they are trying to achieve, also look in their telegram to see if it is active or not. Persoally i would never take part in the bounty of a meme-coin because there you can be 99% sure that the project is dead within a few weeks.
Also don't get fooled by claims like "Token worths 500.000 USD paid out by the bounty" because if a new projects is giving out that high amount of tokens then there is never enough sell pressure to recover from the sell off once the bounty is over.

there is a small area in which Low rank like you will be able to enter a good paying signature campaign though in service section Yahoo62278 usually has a slot for Member rank but I believe that all His signature campaign now are filled .

So your chance is Bounty in which we knew that mostly scam project , best to find a reputable manager like what mentioned in post above me and try entering their project.

Well, you need to check every bounty that you're about to join. No one's gonna tell you that this is legit and the other is not.

You need to exert effort on it by finding out which is legit and which is not. But maybe like the others suggestion about having an escrow is what's going to give you confidence on what you must join or not.

There are only a few bounty projects that guarantees fund through their managers so that every participants gets to have the assurance that they'll receive the reward on time.

if you don't want to waste your time when joining the bounty campaign. I suggest you follow a campaign whose funds are already in escrow. as well as payments with stable coins or altcoins that are already on the market.
I think it's the simplest because when you get a payment, you can immediately sell it on the market.
Maybe that's a good way and after all we still need to do some research before joining the bounty campaign,
because with so many projects and we don't know for sure which projects are really promising it is very important to do that,
What is clear is that everyone has their own way of minimizing risk
Just because a bounty campaign use escrow doesn't mean it's a good project to promote, escrow is just assurance of getting payment not assurance of having good value on listed exchange, remember some bounty campaigns takes up to 3 month of promotion you don't want to do that and end up with penny.

As we know unfortunate incident may happen with any bounty even if the bounty is managed by a popular bounty manager we must do solid efforts by our side before participating in any bounty. Those bounties which offers attractive rewards only ends up with nothing this is what I have seen so far so understanding the project as deep as possible must be our first priority before participating in any bounty.

No escrow no promotion, this have been my rules and regulations for a while now after few bounty projects cater away with bounty hunters rewards, in this space do not trust anybody so better be safer than be sorry, escrow all the way.

Check the project use case first and make sure you follow a reliable bounty manager, also if the bounty campaign is using a escrow payment then there is 99% of getting paid when the campaign is finally over.
Will the new token project immediately have a use case? I don't think even if they mentioned in a whitepaper it's not a guarantee the token will have a use case because finally it all depends on the development.
Seeing who the manager is enough to reduce you following a scam bounty even though there are also those who end up being scammed or the token has no value when it is distribution to the participants.
Escrowed may be good but if the developer fails to listing theirs coins on exchange it will become worthless as well.

Must be selective and also prepared with all the possibilities, that you consider good not necessarily that will happen and vice versa, because following the bounty is no different from gambling.

Why waste your time looking for bounty campaign? Most of the bounty campaign pay very bad. Most of them pays using their own token. If  that project fails, so does all your work for them. It is a huge risk. Even if the project doesn't fail, you would be spending time to earn very little. You would have earned something more if you had spent that time doing something else. Something more efficient.

Make sure tokens are secured in escrow by the bounty manager this will erase issues of not getting paid when bounty campaign is finally over, then look into how good the token is because this is what will make the project more demanding.

Simply put, a quality project won't be a waste of money in marketing. Every token allocation they waste counts and must have a value. Be aware that nowadays bounty marketing isn't as popular as it used to be, almost every country has its own new crypto influencers and they're fortunately a good speaker to attract public attention.

So, if you don't wanna waste time with bounty jobs, don't waste time looking for a good one.
