This is also what's on my mind. Without great team and great people you've been working with, a project can't be success alone.

You need a helping hand and set of people that you can work with the same vision as yours.

Finding the best partners will be a challenge but when you do, it's going to be worth of the wait.

Good points OP. It is important as well that you have a good marketing team and constant communication to them and the investors. Even if you have a great idea and project if you cannot relay it well to the people and cannot reach enough investors then there is still a high probability that your project will fail. In this forum alone, there are a lot of bounty hunters who are willing to promote the project but they become discourage when there is no proper bounty campaign manager who do not update the participants about the status of their shares or stakes.

When a manager and the developers as well reply to the investors and promoters of the project, it gives them a peace of mind that the project is doing well. Marketing should be continuous and well planned out even after the ICO so that you can attract more investors to the project. Being updated about what is happening behind the project is important as well to the investors so that they wouldn't pull out their investments. As you can observe, even the biggest companies who are already household names still make advertisements.

I agree, but to me, the most difficult part is to build a great team. Many people seem interested in a project, but when they need to work they just disappear or get lazy. In my experience, to get a great time to work with is the most difficult stage of every project.
Of course, you can try to work alone, and then you will be able to implement anything you think you are going to need in order to succeed. But, the truth is we all need somebody to work with, either for developing something we want to or simply we will need to move forward our project.
So: build a great team. Take your time in choosing your partners.

First of all you should love your project and also your client, because when you love your work things fall in line accordingly to your purpose, second is set your purpose why you want to have project that will helps you to motivate to finish your work, next is set your priorities that include your responsibilities. Successful project is not get in overnight it will take time to have a successful and meaningful project.  And always pray for the improvement of the project.

Very helpful guide, but i think you forget the last step. No matter how big your effort, you will still need luck to reach a success. So, dont forget to pray and do a charity. my two cents.

Absolutely yes, there is an information that says, for the success of any project, it must be through 20% of individual skills, behaviours, strategies, plans.. and 80% through a psychological way (internal conflicts), I see that some people who want their project to succeed, have a psychological problem, that's why they fail to achieve their goals, and the big widespread issue with many of them is the negative thoughts like that " It is difficult to achieve my goal " ," I cannot solve these  problems " and other . The mind does not differentiate between negative and positive thoughts, it achieves messages, orders or ideas  which you send to him. So if you want your project to succeed, first  think positively.

Well, I suppose the team is what makes a project thrive. All the members should be high professionals in their field and work hard to achieve company's goals - work together as one. That's essential

I think the most important point is solving a real problem.
Your project should solve a real problem facing the community to find a sufficient turnout for success.
Also, your main concern must be to help others and make a new idea rather than a profit.

I think the first thing to bear in mind when setting up an ICO is to try solving a problem through blockchain technology. Though what you listed above its somehow right but its bitter to state that a very high percentage of ICOs developers are into creating ICOs because of their selfish interests. They don't really care about solving a problem or anything like that, they just want to make money out of it.

Hello guys, it is unfortunate that many people fail to achieve and succeed their project ( like, ICO ...) , and  many stop in the first attempts  ( especially when there is a big failure) and become disappointed.

According to my experience, I want to give some steps to succeed any project, they will be as the following:

Step 1 : Focus on your goal ( project) because your energy will go to him:
Focus on what you want, not about what you do not want, and  when you say to yourself that you will make a  successful project (  there become a positive energy (+) inside you), then your focus will follow your  thinking.

Step 2 : You must have a futuristic vision for what you want:
The futuristic vision pulls you to your project, and helps you in achieving the best , also when there is no vision , there is no hope to succeed.

Step 3 : Choose the right map ( strategy, plan)  and the appropriate teacher :
The map may change in each situation but with that  you should search for a  teacher who have a good knowledge on the field of your project because he/she can  help you to take a shortcut way to achieve  your goal.

Step 4: Overcome the  fear of failure and the internal conflicts:
One of the biggest obstacles  which leads to  project failure is the psychological problems.
 
And fear is one of the most widespread problems in many people ( fear of what will happen in the future, like that , Will my project fail? , Will I lose a lot of money? ..) and to overcome this issue, you must resolve the internal conflicts,
Firstly, you must know the internal conflicts that exist in youself (  like,  your focus on negative thoughts  )
Secondly, you must organize your life by choosing the most important things or goals for you, which helps you to  achieve your dream ( project).
Thirdly, get starded.
