I'm about to launch a "gambling" website soon which will not take any fees at all and will only live off ads/donations (not sure how well it will go, but we'll see). So the chances to double your money would actually be 50%, not a bit lower. And I could make a mode that you could play alone, but what if someone keeps winning and winning? The money the player wins won't come from someone else, but from me. And I don't want to risk losing everything myselfmyself and then not have enough money to give out.

What you are saying is that you want is to take money from someone for free ,like if he puts 100$ on stake,he would get only 50$ back and you would get the rest (correct me if I am wrong). People are already not happy even if they get double,now that they will lose half of their money,no one would do that. It is not possible for a person to gamble along with keeping his money saved in his wallet without losing a single penny. I would gladly to suggest to you to set limits when playing gambling because nothing will happen if you don't have any limits or goals when olaying gambling. You will only lose and lose and play until nothing left because you doesn't have any goals to reach unless you have limits and goals, you will stop if you achieved it and you make sure you didn't lose money.
To avoid risk don't gamble and that is the simpliest thing we need to do to avoid loses, And also it's much better to try tradings rather than putting at our money at risk in gambling since in that games we cannot assure to win for some time around and we cannot retrieve what we lose unlike on tradings where we can hold to wait for the next earning oppurtunity for some coins there.
Doing gambling isn't really bad at all as long you do know your limitations and its risk then you should be fine. Losing money is always been part of gambling games from the word itself you are risking your money to earn money and theres only two things would happen either win or loss. Just like that and this is why we should really be prepared on the risk and if you don't like on risky things then better to stay away.

It is a fact that you have to accept in gambling, there is no guarantee you will win but there is a guarantee for you always lose in gambling. You are right, Gambling is too risky, so no one can be safe when he do it. I mean that losing money is inevitable, but you can reduce your loss by experience and luck. The best think is avoid any sections of game that based only on luck, like dice games, because in those game you should be too lucky to win without any loss, It depend only on luck, you should be smart and be carefull when you want to do that.
