blockchain.info is best

For begginers I could suggest to try for coinbase because by default block chain consume some decent amount of btc as transaction fee but in coinbase it's quite low.

I dont recommend hot wallets (web wallets) because of insufficient security but Coinbase and Xapo are great wallets for bitcoin begginers. Smiley

You can open a bitcoin account by creating your bitcoin wallet in a particular site and one of the most common site is what we called 'blockchain.info' in that site it gives you easy and very user friendly wallet but one of the downside of that site is there's a lot of users there and it is very catchy for hackers attention because their users already surpass 8 Million users and some sort of history, Blockchain.info got hacked and the hacker stole a lot of bitcoin there, So for me, Be smart on choosing what bitcoin wallet or site will you trust. Goodluck to your new journey in the bitcoin world.

I think you want to open a wallet BTC account. Try blockchain.info.

It's a good online wallet for newbies start using BTCs with small amounts. When you learn more about it, you can change to another wallet as you wish.
Make sure you did all the safe procediments after creating your wallet to prevent issues later, good luck!

blockchain.info would be best option for using with newbies. I would suggest newbies to use desktop wallets from the starting days. this could obviously increase the usage potential of your skills.

There are no such thing as bitcoin account. All you have to do is to create a bitcoin wallet account to store your bitcoins. You can have your bitcoins by buying from legit bitcoin sellers, earn by joining some online investments, cryptocurrency trading, use bitcoin faucets or the signaure campaign in this forum if you are already qualified.

I think for first use it is better to try free without any cost or fee for every transaction try coinbase
or if you know about the fee for transaction that can affect the priority of every transaction you can try register and signup to blockchain..
If you learn how it works there is other wallet that you can try bitcoin-qt but it needs to donwload or sync the whole blockchain and electrum which is what wallet i am using right now it is just a lite version of bitcoin-qt it can easily use and it safe than online wallet like coinbase.. and coinbase is restricted it is not compatible in gambling casino..

You should start by reading up on wallets. They are not all the same and different systems have different considerations. As mentioned above, there are no accounts. Bitcoin is a protocol and you may want to think of it like the Internet protocol you already use. So you would not say " how do I open an Internet account"? There are all sorts of accounts that use the protocol, but you don't need any account to view the Internet. (in theory anyway).
You are also on your own with bitcoin. There is no business behind bitcoin. If you lose your money then it is gone and nobody can recover it. You and you alone own your bitcoin.

Use the blockchain.info wallet, its the best out there. I use it personally for quite sometime now and my friends use it too. You cant create a bitcoin account, you can create a  bitcoin wallet account, a place to store your BTC.

Thanks, hope that helped Smiley

I opened an account with Circle and then moved my BTC from there to Electrum. It was fairly simple to do and Circle made it easy to purchase Bitcoin with my debit card. There is a ton more to learn, but so far I like the security with purchases.
Good move. Don't keep your coins in online wallet. Especially in any wallet linked to an exchange. I don't even want to start on how many exchanges were already hacked.

For new bitcoin users the best wallets are software wallets with simplified validation (it means you won't have to download whole blockchain; currently almost 100 GB of data)
Examples of such wallets: Multibit HD, Electrum, Bither or he only online wallet I consider 'fine': Blockchain.info

To start with Bitcoin all you need is bitcoin and place where you can store it. There is no company behind bitcoin, all BTC wallets are freeware, most of them are open-sourced.
