I contradict on what your saying.
Not all gambling can use a patience. When playing dice should you use patience?? hell no. Actually it's not a safe way with patience.
IMO, it still depends on what your playing, If your playing with poker i think you could use the patience like you said and some skill.

Yes here it's all handle by house only how they wil play depend on that our profit will come. In most cases house only win. So here there is no smart way to play if we have money interested in gambling we just do betting if we have luck we will win our bet else no. Even i am searching for a book how to play smart way in gambling but i am not getting. Wink

i think it can differ from game to game.

for example in dice i found out that i have always end up losing in the long run (the house always wins) so no matter how much i put in or what strategy i used, the result was the same.

on the other hand, in other games like betting on sports, i can have better win rate if i can find good matches to bet on and make money that way. so the house is not always winning, the house only takes commission and i keep winning.

i agreed. if you have hit 15 consecutive rows of losing which is very very common. it is also very likely you can get 15wins in a row even though it is a bit harder as compare to losing in the long run. However, the 15 win and the 15 lose, the amount is a huge different, 16,000 times more in losing and that is why people will feel the extreme pain while winning 15 times in a row you may not even notice.

Exactly, it works both ways. However psychologically its very difficult to keep playing until you win 15 times. For most they will stop at 5 wins or 10 wins and luck out from the large wins.

I can't stop really myself even after a big win and tripled my initial amount. I still want to win more and that is the dangerous thing if you want to play gambling in a smart way you need to stop your temptation Cheesy

I know what you mean. Honestly I think the best way to do this would be to maybe program a robot or something so it doesn't get emotional and keeps betting until it hits 15x wins.
