You need life insurance if your death would be a financial blow to someone. Most parents need coverage to replace income or pay for services they provide for the family. You also need life insurance if you have debts that would fall on someone else.
Of course I'm not creative enough to dream up the following. I'm only relating something which actually happened, or appears to have, with Hal Finney:
1) Invent or co-invent a brand new currency system and control an ass-load of BTC.
2) Memorize a pass-phrase.
3) Have yourself crynogenically preserved.
Of course you will be the top priority for being brought back to life if/when the technology ever exists. The bad part is that the first thing you see when you open your eyes will probably be a rubber hose, and your time back among the living may be limited to how long it takes to extract said pass-phrase.
I don't even wanna think about death at this my early stage. It's not a funny experience.

banks and properties have no problem of assessing it as long as they are your family and they have legal documents about it.

The first thing that I will do to prepare for my death is to accept Christ as my personal saviour and to confess or admit that i am a sinner because I believe on the teaching on the Bible that He is the only one who can save us when we die and for us to enter heaven. Then, my insurance will come next. I will use my money to have the best funeral in the world like my family are feasting on my death day because when I die, I don't want them to be sad because we all know that death is a part of the human life cycle. And I will make sure that all my resources or wealth will be equally distributed to my family members.

Its hard to prepare for the time of your death because you don't know when will it come. I think we can prepare ourself if we put in our mind that it will come at anytime. So do all the thing that you need to be done before the time comes.

I put all my papers and documents in a safe place and tell my mom about it. But as of now, i simply do good deeds and the right thing that i know so that in case i die soon I can talk with God in heaven. When i do have a good salary then i will make sure to invest on my funeral.
I think the only way to prepare for death is you have to believe in God confess and ask forgiveness for your sins. Save the lives for those who do not believe in God , tell them that there is God that whoever believes In him shall perish and have everlasting life.
Luckily you don't need to waste your life talking to yourself and chanting with other brainwashed people. There is a hole in your god's plan...
All you need to do is accept god in the last second of your life and POOF you go to heaven with the same status and perks of someone who wasted their whole life.
