Facebook has now introduced some weird policies for promoting ICOs .
basically they banned ico promotion , but still i can see daily some ads .
dont know if this ban was having some real meaning or not .
better to promote icos on twitter / telegram groups . you can give advt on cmc too .

Hi I just wanna know few tips on how to promote an upcoming ICO on Twitter and Facebook?
You will need a required number of friends in your facebook account and a number of twitter followers so you can join these social media bounties,you will only post,share,like ,comments in facebook using your account and you will required to twit and re-twit some posts in twitter bounties then yoi will get paid every week.
Most of friends in twitter are real so it's good to promote there not like facebook and for me that's not recommended to do because nowadays there's a lot of users all around the world that using facebook for only in games and more on fake friends but still if your friends there are just few only just like 2k or 3k then i think that's legit and good for promoting but if you have 100k friends even you post that there i'm sure a lot from that are just fake.
For twitter, paid promotion is good. Also, if you have the time & manpower, maybe do some digging. Find the target audience and who they follow. If some of the people with a lot of twitter following like your product and would promote or even just mention it in some of their tweets, it would be pretty beneficial.

On twitter: simply describe the ICO in a short but descriptive manner. Twitter tweets has text-count limit so you'd have to word your promotion text excellently and competitively.
On facebook: There are no text-limits so you can go deep and descriptively. Pretty much explain the ICO's token in your own words/description.
Do your best to make the promotion as descriptive as possible. Don't shill like.. "this coin will be 10x next month!" or something along those lines. Those are the worst. Read the whitepaper before even attempting to promote.
