Keep a sense of paranoia when you are online. Do not download files or open attachments from people you don’t know. Stick to regular websites, don’t store crypto on a device you use for regular browsing.

Do not visit or download anything from the suspicious link because you do not know if that file is safe or not. Right now, hackers are more creative in using many ways to trick their targets. So the hacker can easily found their target and hack their account using many ways.

The last thing that will protect you from hackers is not connecting to the internet and not having any account on the internet. But that will not be possible as we live in the digital era that uses the internet to communicate and connect to other people, so we must be careful.

Don't download unwanted files to unknown or pirated websites. Those files that you download might get you in trouble and contains a malware.

password difficulties is nothing if the hacker get into your account directly , that's why 2 factor authentication is what we must need.
I agree, the list lacks of 2FA. It's an important requirement these days.
Bot just downloading but even entering sites that is not important because phishing links comes from every site over internet and the moment you click one is the chance you'll getting hacked.
I have some experience of clicking a link then my account automatically got compromised .
lets not allow them get close to our account.

There are some good ideas in here for how to protect yourself from a hacker.

Best way for me is by using a difficult password that I must cut and paste and a form of 2 Factor for extra security.

Wait, you are not completely safe even though you followed all the security measures, and you didn't mention about the phishing attack which is common and even unnoticed on many occasions so the only way to protect yourself from hacker is don't connect to internet and stop using smartphones, just get back to the keypad mobile technology, sounds crazy right. Tongue

I think we can actually have a Safe Internet. It's should be a well decentralized and transparent Internet with the right rules to prevent/eliminate such attacks/abuses.
If a decentralized network participants could create a good set of rules via public consensus and have every transactions with members of the community rated based on the set of rules, you would end up having a reputation/merit-based network, and then only visit or allow people/sites with reasonably good reputation on your most sensitive/important stuff.
Internet doesn't have any rules, only sites can be regulated but there are sites which doesn't follow any rules and selling illegal things which is called darkweb, so only way is self censorship and avoid connecting to internet as much as you can.

Also important to be cautious while surfing the internet. The way the current internet is designed or works leaves most users vulnerable to attacks and spying by dangerous people. Your devices are meant to be your private property but this current internet design model doesn't seem to respect that. Things can be done in your "private property" by companies/people without your consent. Even those with consent should be constantly asking for permission to carry out certain sensitive actions even though they have obtained Initial consent from owners/users.

Thanks OP for your recommendation . I will check the link so that can help me so much.
Yes, the links will really help you to understand more about scammers and ways to avoid them. Also, just a point of correction, OP means opening post, your post here is the opening post, not mine.

Now a day's our social life are getting risk and vulnerable .Specially in our bank account that full of credentials information. Now I'm giving you an Idea that can help you to protect and secure your personal information or financial account.

Here's a Few step to protect yourself from hackers.

    • Don’t access personal or financial data with public WiFi.

This may seem like a no- brained, but you’d be surprised how many people check their bank accounts or make purchases with a credit card while using public Wi-Fi. It’s best to do those things on a secure connection.
    • Turn off anything you don’t need.

Hackers can use certain features on your phone to get at your information, location or connection. So, instead of keeping your GPS, wireless connection and geo-tracking on all the time, just turn them on when you need them.
    • Use a strong password, lock code or encryption.

Make sure your passwords are at least eight characters long, with a mix of upper and lower case, and include numbers or other characters, and never use the auto-complete feature for passwords. You can use the storage encryption feature on your phone to protect your private data, and set your screen to timeout after five minutes or less.
    • Trace

Make sure your data is secure if your mobile device is stolen or lost. You can set up your device to lock itself after a pre-set number of failed log-in attempts.

    • AVOID THESE PASSWORDS

The following passwords are considered the most common and easiest to crack – so if you’ve got any of these or similar variations, you should seriously considering changing them – quickly!

      123456 (or any chronologically-ordered numbers)
      987654321
      123123
      QWERTY
      111111
      password

Doing this step can protect yourself and prevent the hackers can steal your account easily. To those people who haven't this idea but you are already aware you can share this thing so that you have a knowledge
Beside that  you did your job to help who didn't know this idea.
