So difficult, it is a pleasure to you when you gamble, so stopping yourself from your pleasure is really hard. It is so hard to quit on gambling especially your'e doing it for a long time, but if you really want to quit you should do it little by little. First, you should set a goal like " i will stop gambling this year " so start it with limiting yourself on going to cassino or any gambling place and how much your going to spend.
Also try to do other sports that caught your interest. Have some hobbies that will make you more efficient.
Its difficult but if you really want it then you really need to exert an effort.

Yes that will be the best result for stopping or quitting gambling for good. We can't stop instantly, there are gamblers that can't resist the temptation and they will stop suddenly. It's like a learning process and you are teaching yourself on how you are able to quit gambling a little by little, it's a good strategy and I know this is effective.

I was quite addicted into gambling, but next morning after i won, and then instantly lost large amount of money i told myself that it is enough and i stopped gambling. That was few months ago, now i spend 5$ or so a month in gambling, but i don't feel that i am addicted - i don't want profit anymore, i just want to have fun. So stopping instantly is possible

Once we get very bad experience in gambling then automatically we will stop gambling. Untill and unless we lose more money we will not take this issue very serious. When we lose more money, then only our mind will come under our control. Most of the gamblers situation is same like this. They will try to stop, but greed will not let them stop.

And usually this happens not when you lose a lot of money over time, but with it happens in one day or just few hours. It's even worse, when you lose lots of money that you won hour ago, as then you start blaming yourself for not stopping before and so on. Only good thing about this losing is that it helps you to realise that you are addicted to gambling.

I do not think going out from home is the answer to that question. Gamblers who want to quit gambling do not have to do that, it will only make them more out of control. If you're a gambler who wants to quit, do not be embarrassed to ask your friends for help. Your non-gambling friend will always help you stop, because I'm sure that's what they want, to see you stop.

yes you are right that gambling become out of control and it is very difficult for them to quit gambling easily and if they want to quit gambling then they have to control their feelings about gambling and they needs to adopt such activities that force them to stop gambling, but i think asking friends for help is not good idea in such situation they need to concern their family members and ask help from them then it will be very helpful for them.

If you actually want to only play for fun then it might be better for you not to play at all. For that activities if there is any other person to help help to involve him in there then he will go there and will not come much for gambling while if there is no ant person to help him to involve him in other activities then he will not leave gambling because he will find satisfaction only in gambling.

yes that is really too hard and specially if you are addicted to gambling, most of the people when they tired of playing gambling because of losing a lot of money, but i do not think that it is easy that they will stop gambling. but if they just make planing for playing gambling and if they play with some strategy so at least through this way they can reduce to risk of losing money at all.

i think people get addicted to gambling only for the greed of money, they always want to win the gambling for profit and when they lose it they try to play again to get back their lost money i mean that they make it the only source of income, so i think if they want to get rid of gambling they need to seek some other sources of income and do such jobs that make them happy or do such business in which they could get interest then i think that will divert their attention.

That makes sense, though it is not all about the money, I think it is also about the fun and experience while gambling. It may be really addicting winning a big bucks from casinos, though, it is more addicting having fun betting especially when you have your friends beside you. But yes, most of them are treating gambling a job where they can have some payments or profits, but it is really not a profitable activity.

It would be hard if you are not dedicated on quitting it, if you are just going to say it to yourself but you are not going to do it the other day because you have changed your mind, then you are just fooling yourself around. Quitting gambling could be one of the great decision you could ever make if you really want to earn some money, because think, if you are not going to gamble, then you could have save more money that you are going to use in gambling instead, but you didn't use.

You are right that most people can't just quit in one day, but it doesn't matter that they should surrender and continue ruining their life until they are broke and homeless. There are many ways to quit, sometimes it's with the help of friends and family, or finding new hobby or getting professional help. The process of quitting can be long, but it should come in hand with gradual reducing of spendings and leaving addiction behind.
