You can access you bitcoin where ever you are as long as you have your key. Just save your key to a place that no one will know but only you, your wallet is not depends on your phone it's about the key you have.

As other says if you have your private keys or seed for the phone wallet (i.e jaxx) you can restore it everywhere.
The most important thing which you need to have with you is not your cell phone but the private key. If you lost your phone but you remember your private key, then there are chances that you will recover your bitcoins. Otherwise, there is no possible way using which you can actually recover your bitcoins. In that case all your bitcoins will be lost which will result in huge loss.

You just open from another phone using your key passphrase and if you want to know in detail better you are passing through a guide or tutorial that you can search in google, I think at this time there is a lot of a site link that contains about how to guide how to reset a bitcoin account from a lost phone, and apart from that I strongly suggest to you that this can be a lesson for you so you do not do negligence for the second time because for someone who wrestle in crypto world of course the phone is as one of the tools for you to do a job. even you will of course save a very important asset in it if your phone is lost of course you will get a loss.

I have stored my Bitcoins in Android wallet (Coinomi wallet).

If I lost my phone then how come will I be able to restore them? I know there is this 12 word phrase key that I have backed up already. Could I use this 12-word key to restore my coins in case I lost my phone or stolen?

Please advice.

Back ups are needed when storing Bitcoin private keys. I hope you restore everything back to normal.

If you lost your phone, You haven't lost your Bitcoin...YET!

As long as you  have access to your private keys and another device to log into your account, you should be ok.
But change your passwords, just in case your codes have been compromised.

so you must have to save and store some of the important information specially on your wallet the private keys are the most important thing on it so better to be secure so even you have lost something that are related on your wallet or some other important information make sure that you have some back up.

Since you have not lost your phone, ensure  your private key is properly  stored in a secret  place where no one can access, you can also safe the 12 word phrase on your flash to  avoid  total lost  of  your  wallet.

When using my WAVES wallet for iOS, is the Seed the same as the private key?  On the mobile app there is no way to see the private key when backing up the wallet.  It only gives you the 15 word seed!!

Your bitcoins are stored in your wallet, not in your mobile phone so if just access your wallet on a different phone or computer, you will still be able to see it. So no worries.

Upon signing up for Bitcoin wallet or any kind of wallet for any Cryptocurrency will must have a backup therefore if you ever lost your phone then you can still access it. It's a good thing that you realized that you'll recover your wallet if somethings happen to your phone. And now ang you'll regret later.

Unless you backed up your bitcoin private key elsewhere, you can not find your bitcoin back. The private key corresponds to your bitcoin, lost nothing, it is impossible to recover.

If your address on the mobile wallet was password protected and you have the pass phrase, nothing to worry about. But if it was not protected, I would not wai much to transfer your bitcoins to some other address, for the unlikely case that the thief or whoever has got your phones understands what bitcoins are.

One should always keep a copy of their private key in some other phone or should write it somewhere because if you lost your phone or your phone is not working then it will be impossible for you to access that wallet. If the private key of a wallet is known then it can be opened from any other phone also because only the key matters not the phone but if the key is lost then it is not possible for us to recover our money .Our all hard work and money will be wasted .
