Think this would be the most inexpensive/effective route, are there any stores that you know that carry something like this? Walmart, Staples, OfficeMax? If not its fine, trying to figure out in store availability. I am going on a couple business trips in a couple days and my rig is being a pain in the ass. You can try OpenSSH for Windows. That will usually let you connect from a remote command prompt when the rig is frozen. Type 'shutdown /s /t 0' to shutdown right away or 'shutdown /r /t 0' to reboot.

If it's locked up, you have to use the physical power button. Maybe some sort of physical circuit with a chip and network interface you can message that is the power button itself that you can communicate with to move the switch when it receives a code?
