The same thing I want know about that where we can report about scam airdrops because of we can get more websites for airdrop but we can not find a site regarding scams airdrop.
Quite shocking that a Legendary doesn't have much knowledge about this matter. There are no such websites on where we can make complaints about scam airdrops and would like to ask you.
Do you still engaging yourself into airdrops?
For now we cant do anything but to be aware on possible scams that do lurk out there and airdrops are supposed to be free which means anything had do have been asked out like deposit eth or kyc then better to avoid it.

If there is a bigger fraud story than the Thingschain airdrop, please let me know. Even though the airdrop was bot driven, somehow the admin in charge of distribution (@garic_ling) managed to exclude thousands of members for "cheating". There are 2 questions I'd like to ask this garic character. 1) Are you seriously proposing that literally thousands of members ALL committing fraud? 2) How can you not respond to reasonable requests for assistance and then when someone has exposed you for the fraud you are(he blatantly lied on public chat that the email he was giving out was current and active- this is not the case, try it for yourself: [email protected].); remove them from telegram chat (what do you have to hide?) The upshot? This garic guy has either made a humongous mess up of distribution of tokens OR has committed fraud himself by knowingly withholding tokens for himself knowing that there would be a burn after the ICO…INVESTORS STAY AWAY!!

You can openly see the scam projects airdrop in this forum also because everyone here about the create a thread on this forum to discuss it. So I see some people using it incorrectly and making the spam and scam attempt bro.

If you want to complaint anybody who is making scam attempt over this forum. Obviously you can write a thread on the scam accusation section bro.
Once any DT saw the thread then the scammer will be tagged in the forum mate.

The new trend is that they take you to a fake MEW website in order to sign an encrypted message. There you will be prompted to enter your real MEW key and just like that all your funds will be history. The latest scam ICO I came across is surety token airdrop. This is their fake MEW site: https://myéthęrwałlet.com/signmsg.html. Nice try scumbags... A cryptopolice project is curently being prepared.

There are many scam airdrop but these airdrops mostly happen on Telegram channels where team can easily contact with the users but one should check that the airdrops are official as people ask for money for sending the airdrop coin, in such case they should ask the team and team can publish on their ANN page regarding the Fake airdrop channels and you can also report the channel so the Telegram can automatically close that bot.

The Dentacoin Airdrop asking me to enter my private key of my etherium wallet (an hour ago) in order to automatically
sign the special encrypted message that will verify that it is actually my wallet.
And emphasizing that they will not send DCN Token to fake wallets.
Also, they put a note saying:
Note: This is safe.  We DO NOT use, store or collect your personal data (such as private key).
This form is fully encrypted and secured by the SSL standard and MD5 hashing protocol.
No one will be able to access your wallet and you can update your wallet address.

I know this is a scam because you could just sign your wallet to prove it's yours.
I'm worried to other 164k telegram users, i know other users might get scammed...

I really don't know how and where to report a scam airdrop.. please give me some advice what to do.
thanks!
things like this happen a lot among air drop coin seekers. even in bounty champaign any one ask for privatkey as a way to claim our token.
this is very awkward, as my experience just leave it alone. without having to face the risk that will happen.
so be careful choosing the action.

Theres no such update of your same wallet address. Once private keys are known or compromised then your funds inside it are on risk. Therefore you should really see this thing as a scam definitely and only fools who do easily believe on such verification would definitely lose up tokens inside in their wallets. Theres no such thing on verifying ones wallet by accessing or knowing its private keys. Even just common sense you would able to point it out directly that this is a fraud. About those telegram users then you can simply Type message and warn people on there. Lucky for those innocent minds to read up but for sure there are still people do fall on that one.

that's your fatal mistake. I do not think there is a way out,
whether you get airdrop from bitcointalk forum or on other sites,
if you can let me ask for an airdrop link that deceives you, I want to monitor whether my friend or I participated

I think airdrop does not really matter if it's a scam. if bounty is a scam it should be reported to the moderator. because airdrop is only available for free. while bounty, we have to work to get coin

Is it possible? I mean What the moderators can do about it? Are they gonna delete the ANN thread or anything related to the project once they find out the project is indeed scam? Is there any entity of law that filters when a projects start their ICO, so that it would be avoided which one is scam and which one is not?

Tracking scammers is a really difficult thing to do. And there is no way you can report them to someone and that someone is going to ban them from getting involved to cryptocurrency. The only thing you can do is to avoid them. You can avoid them by asking for some advice and reading about their project.

To avoid airdrop scam its suitable that you join telegram channels of ICOs for updates are posted there. You can also check official Facebook and twitter accounts of certain ICOs so you will know if the airdrop you're joining is legit or not.

I do not think there is a place to report it, but if for example you care about other people you just tell them about the project fraud and what response will you get back to them.

This is what I've been thinking too. But I thin k that there is no possible way that we can report/track those who are conducting a scam Airdrop. The only thing we can do is to be aware, must be attentive on every detail we fill up to avoid being scammed. Must warn other members as well especially those who are new into cryptos or create a thread with all listed scam Airdrop/ICO/bounties to be able to avoid and not getting scammed will help.
