I think OP wants to be a manager but don't know how to start being a manager. The hard part of this is finding a project that will trust OP unless there are project ready to hire OP as their manager. I'm sure it will be a disaster to OP if he started from scratch knowing that he doesn't know that much on how to run as a manager. OP could also be overwhelmed with the participants given that there are literally hundreds of participants on each bounty allocations. I also tried to be a bounty manager and honestly I myself experienced being overwhelmed with the participants joined in it.
If he, OP, thinks that he wants to become a bounty manager because he is willing to get high payment from the developer, he may face some disappointment. Because we also know what kind of bounty and projects running a bounty campaign. Although there are so many new projects that will run a campaign, it will not be easy for the OP to approach them, moreover with their rank and reputation. I agree with most members here stating that reputation is one of the keys to becoming a trusted and reputable bounty manager. We see that some professional managers like Yahoo, Hhampuz, and others have been right now, but we also don't know exactly what they have passed over the years to build their reputations. They must face so many challenges and it will not be easy. But, it is not an impossible mission if the OP can really learn and build his reputation very incredibly to run a trusted and paid exactly bounty

how to become a bounty manager i want to run bounty campaign so how can i run campaign please tell me
Everyone can be a bounty manager as long as they have the ability to manage a bounty. But it is not easy to get trust from the developers or the owners of the projects. At least, you must be a trusted member of this forum and have an experience in managing a bounty. If you are a newbie and have no experience, I assume no one will trust you as a good bounty manager.

Anyway, why do you really want to be a bounty manager? Do you think you fit that job?  Huh

Are you looking to promote your own coin or project or do you want to become a general bounty manager, if it is the former then you may not have to do much what you need is a good knowledge of spreadsheets management that you can keep up to date with the activities of your bounty participants.

-But that is different from being a bounty manager since the work of a bounty manager is more encompassing, so of you looking to develop management skills then you will have to be under an already exciting bounty manager to teach you some of the technicalities in doing such a job.

Beside having good reputation in Bitcointalk forum, I think Bounty Campaign manager have smart and understand well in cryptocurrency world.  Current running bounty campaign not worth right now after reward smallest and become bounty campaign manager should know well about how the project potential when running campaign and the participants earn higher reward not small reward.

OP should build first with reputation, have knowledge with bounties campaign and keep promoting about left space become bounty campaign manager, I saw every campaign manager have their own topic and always updating about the campaign bounty is still left and available for promoting if any project interested.

Running bounty campaigns requires a great deal of understanding of the workings of the forum and hardwork to get clients and bounty hunters. You may have to outsource some of the task such as designing signatures, graphics of the project etc.

That's the start. But still even with reputation sometimes, you would still struggle since there are plenty of reputated BMs out there. I would that before or/and after you got your first project handled, make sure that you're indeed marketable and devs would be convinced that you are the right guy for the job.

Source? Might not be related but this is how I struggled back then in my freelance career without any reputation. The same could still be applied for sure and at least more manageable since the number of people offering services here might be less than the platform I worked in the past.

If you really don't know How to manage Bounty then it is difficult for you first create portfolio and submit then contact you from there if any project team let you manage then you bounty You can manage but you won't be able to if you don't know the forum rules Want a bounty manager You must learn a lot of stuff if you don't understand how it functions. Know the rules of every forum, understand cryptocurrency, and start looking for projects.
That's easier said than done. How would you create portfolio when you're still starting? You can't just make things up and fake your way since the devs that will work with you will likely do a background check just like any other workplace out there for transparency check in your end.

We already have a lot of bounty managers here in forum and getting in that work would take a while for a newbie to get started especially without any prior experience. Just look at Services section to how many users are trying to bump their services in order to get noticed.
The first thing is to have a reputation in the forum, and by reputation, I don't mean positive trust, but I mean having a good presence within the forum, without having any bad experiences or involvement in anything that harmed someone in any way. After that, finding projects that would hire you as a manager is the biggest challenge. It's not easy to convince a project to trust you and choose you as the person who would represent them and will be responsible for maintaining their reputation within the forum.

if you want to promote your token with your own bounty manager, you can make it on the bounty board, there are lots of sample posts that you can copy there so you can start and create a new thread which of course needs an attractive design to make your token look quality and also create a form for participants

how to become a bounty manager i want to run bounty campaign so how can i run campaign please tell me

I guess you are talking about managing a bounty campaign for a crypto project and not running a bounty for your own crypto project? As others in this thread have already said, if you want to become a bounty manager yourself that is managing bounties for companies, then you have a lot of work in front of you first.
With a newbie account like yours there is no way that a project is hiring you as their bounty manager. First you need to build up your reputation here in this forum. I would guess that you really need to be a legendary member first who also has a positive trust rating in order to be considered by projects. So it is not that easy.
right, building trust in this forum is the main way if you want to become a bounce manager, and I think it's a hard struggle, considering we have to convince project managers to use our services. but if the project you are working on goes well, then you will become a reference for bounty hunters to promote the project you are holding, so that in the end many projects will come too, of the many bounty managers here, they usually build a long enough reputation, and remember that reputation can be destroyed with one mistake, or the dissatisfaction of the bounty hunters

how to become a bounty manager i want to run bounty campaign so how can i run campaign please tell me
To tell the truth, this is not easy as you think.
Firstly, you must build your reputation at first in this forum. With your current rank and post histories, I am not sure you are able to do it right now.
You need to at least rank up to be able to have a better reputation and ensure the developer teams of certain projects trust you to run a bounty campaign to promote their projects. But if you are still at this rank, I am not sure there will be.

Secondly, ranking up is not as easy as you think. You must build your posts much better and the only way to do it is by getting merits. You may get a Chopper Member tag to be more reputated by paying some money. But, this is not enough because you must compete with other reputable bounty managers that have higher ranks. So, it is better to be more contributed in this forum and rank up with good history.

Thirdly, a bounty manager must know how to manage the participants and make some rules, prepare spreadsheets to check and calculate the participation calculation, promoting their project thread so that many more participants will be interested to join the bounty.
But right now, it will be quite difficult to reach many participants if you do have not a good reputation.

There's a stickied thread on the Services that's giving the idea on how to become a participant and how to run a campaign, this also includes the bounty campaigns.
Reading the entire thread will give you an idea about the do's and dont's upon starting for both.

You can't be a bounty manager if you don't know how it works, you have to learn a lot of things understand crypto, know every forum rules well and start looking for projects and you have to make sure that those projects will really pay participants and there are many a bounty manager who has his own funds to cover things that are not wanted being a bounty manager is not only about getting jobs and money but there are many things to learn
It's not even just about learning, it's really also about being trusted as well. You need to have an account that is high ranked and you need to be here for a while and talked with people here for a while, I would love to become one one day but even I do not do it because I do not think that people know me THAT much, sure many people have seen me, but not enough to be a reputable manager just yet, maybe in time.

This is why it's quite important to sort out your future and how you should be all around and chat with people here, respond to their posts and basically all around be aware of what you are doing in order to gain more influence before you can be a manager.

What can I do to become a manager, please tell me

Running bounty campaigns as a newbie could be a bit challenging. Firstly, being a newbie means your forum rank has certain limitations as compared to other ranks. You can learn more about this in this topic: Forum ranks/positions/badges
Secondly, since you have a non-existent forum reputation, it might be tough to get many project owners to work with you. Perhaps you could start by actively participating in the forum and building your rank, and then consider running bounty campaigns? I hope this suggestion helps.

Can a newbie become a bounty manager? now, to go from newbie to junior member, you must need to get merit and getting merit is really very difficult. I don't know the rules about bounty managers, but if newbies are allowed, why not?
But it's true, rank ranking will greatly affect the participant's response.

Yeah, of course possible, firstly just need to buy copper membership using some Bitcoin, because copper is considering as a member rank. But it’s a bit difficult at first time to get bounty projects without experience. Getting merit is difficult but you will get it, if you're able to make quality posts.

Ask some reputated managers here, and I am pretty sure they will give you a straight answer from their experience unless they are busy with something.

It is not going to be your typical data entry, OP. There are some users that think that bounty manager only manages the spreadsheet with the list of the partcipants that join it, but it is not. It is called BM for a reason, not a data entry clerk. Surely you're going to talk with the devs/team about the campaign and stuff.

It's your responsibility in the end if you would decide to stop the campaign after it was exposed and this is why, again, BM is not your typical data entry work.

First of all, it’s pretty difficult want to be a bounty manager as a newbie member in the forum but possible, if you can active here and build your reputation also your portfolio. Now mostly SCAM bounty projects, so you need to enough knowledge to research about a project before you will conduct it.

Actually what makes it difficult is not just a matter of reputation, but to choose the project itself. of course, if we already have a reputation in this forum, projects will look for us, not us looking for projects. But what is certain, what can make it easier for someone to get a project is the ability to negotiate and the good marketing language that is offered to project developers. Furthermore, maintaining the trust of the project giver not to steal or act negatively. If you run it successfully, you will have a reputation in this forum, even if you start from newbie status.

You can't do this alone because you will need to hand of an experienced person so that you can do that without any error. If you do a bounty campaign and the campaign ended up to be scam without you admitting to the public that you are not part of the team, you can lose your trust and people will red tag you for your endeavors.

I mean what is the point of getting a experience person though? it will just defeat the purpose of being a bounty campaign manager. That's why the majority says that the OP needs experience first because involving himself in this kind of job in this community because it will take a lot.

Maybe he can apply for like a assistant, if there are bounty managers that are going to hire him. And from then move, get the experience and maybe one day he could be the manager itself.

~

Well , if you ask me, bounty managers typically require experience and knowledge in the field, as well as familiarity with the rules and regulations of the forum. As for newbies being able to become a bounty manager, I do not think there is any rule prohibiting it but considering that a newbie probably does not have much experience or knowledge in this field, they might not be as effective bounty managers as someone who has been on the forum for a while.

That's mean basically whatever rank in the forum, can be a bounty manager? This means that all you have to do is research the bounty campaigns that are already running, such as rules, spreadsheets, and also be active on all of the bounty social media. Another question may arise, if you become a bounty manager by registering, then a newbie will certainly compete fiercely with a much higher rank than him.

You have to be able to create spreadsheets, keep them updated and be an organized person to handle every participants of the campaign. You need crypto knowledge to execute transactions efficiently, keep funds for payments safe in the campaign's wallet. You need domain over English language, so you can communicate with participants and your employers properly. You also need a lot of time available to execute every tasks required from you.

This isn't a sig campaign that the participants are only small and then the scope of the job is only simple because it only focus on forum posting but bounty campaign is more complex as it involves different websites and social medias. This is why the participants involved are also huge in number.

Almost every bounty managers that I know do always have an assistant to help them but it's not guarantee that the work is now going to be 100 percent error free. Errors can still occur, this is why there is a group for complaints. It will still be corrected by the team onwards. Almost each bounty campaign manager do also put a disclaimer in their bounty thread that they are not responsible for any loss. This protects their reputation in case a bounty is a scam.

becoming a bounty manager for a bounty campaign on Bitcointalk needs few things from you which first thing you better have a good reputation here because it's important to establish yourself as a reputable member of the community to have a good chance of getting offers and that users will participate on your managed campaigns and this can be done by being an active participant and creating useful content. Then you will need knowledge about the project you will be managing and dealing with such as understanding blockchain and casinos and everything related to crypto.
And Remember that becoming a bounty manager takes time and much effort

As a newbie? I doubt that any project are going to hire you right away to run their bounty campaign, it's not how it works here. You need to build your reputation and obviously you even don't have any experience, so I would say forget about it.

And why you want to become a bounty manager in the first place? it has a lot of responsibilities, and I don't know if you can cope up with it, so the pressure is there. Then you might work with some scam projects that don't pay and you will be the one going to be hit hard by complains from bounty hunters themselves. So that's my advise mate, if you really wanted to become one, build your reputation but it's not a easy task.
My guess is that op has heard from someone that bounty managers make more money than bounty hunters and just decided to be bounty manager without having any idea what bounty managers do. I've considered that as a job as well. I don't mind the responsibilities but workload seems intense. Even with automating most things you would need to know how to deal with cheaters and i have no idea hot to verify original content especially in the time of artificial intelligence. And i feel like that wouldn't be even my biggest problem.

After you read all the recommendations, you need to take your time and do not be in a hurry to launch your career as a bounty hunter here, participate in a bounty campaign first to know what participants are doing in campaigns and how managers handle their campaign, you will eventually learn from your bounty managers, like what a spreadsheet looks like, how bounty managers qualify people and how they pick participants based on the criteria these managers have set up, it takes time to learn this and you cannot learn this in a matter of weeks.

What's the problem? Bounty manager is the same as a normal forum user, just like the other participants, it does not need any additional admissions and permissions. Find a project, stock up on tools for bounty, such as google table, open a new topic, make sure that participants bounty fulfill the conditions, distribute rewards.
Indeed, in this case, I agree, there is no limit to it, but on the other hand, if you really look at it from its "beginner" condition, even if you can count the number of posts on your fingers, you can, but it's clearly a bit risky, in my opinion.
Currently, with the conditions of several bounties that actually only end in scams, it is becoming more difficult than one might imagine because being a bounty manager also requires mature experience and not even everyone can do that.
It would be better if this matter was studied first, not only about bounties but the rules on the forum first.

It’s essential to hire a good and reputed Bounty manager in the forum.Because new people can do scam after receiving your tokens for the bounty hunters payment. The use that token for their benefit, not all new people are trusted.Only some people are trusted, instead of risking with new people. You should concentrate on the high profile bounty manager with hero or legendary rank. And they won’t spoil their reputation for few dollars profit.

If you want to become a bounty manager then you must have good idea about bitcointalk. I think becoming a bounty manager is very difficult. At first you have to work hard. And once you can be known in the forum as a good bounty manager then it will be great for you.  You can easily promote bounty then. I think you need to contact bounty managers then it will be easy for you to follow your target. If you can move forward like this I think it will be very easy for you.

Although the forum doesn't have any restrictions and requirements in order to become a campaign manager, I think it will be good if the forum have it because it will prevent from scam, spam and other bad thing. I see the @OP is just a newbie who doesn't know this forum, I don't think he know to judge a good quality post and other thing in order to make the project become success.

This is why right now bounty is full of scam and there's a lot rubbish posts around Altcoins board.

If you have a project in hand, you can run a bounty campaign in this forum.

first you need to create the needed documents and  presentations.
the you can announce the campaign in public, of course you can look at the altcoin bounty campaign on how it is done.  You can also get a good glimpse on the the Bounty announcement board to see how these manager had been doing with huge and small project.

how to become a bounty manager i want to run bounty campaign so how can i run campaign please tell me

It seems people nowadays are becoming interested on becoming a signature campaign manager because of multiple threads I'm seeing on how to run, manage or to find a project to offer a bounty campaign. First think you need to consider is your own weapon before asking any questions. Try putting your self as a project and imagine if you can hire yourself into becoming a bounty manager. Reputable bounty managers do have their own weapon such as experience, portfolio and more importantly skills to make projects choose them over others.

It's not just what you see with them that they only count and check posts of their participants. There's more to that task because that's just one of what they do.

You should also be good in checking the project that's inquiring on you to run their campaigns. It's likely that you may end up with a scam project and that's why it's needed to.

What's the problem? Bounty manager is the same as a normal forum user, just like the other participants, it does not need any additional admissions and permissions. Find a project, stock up on tools for bounty, such as google table, open a new topic, make sure that participants bounty fulfill the conditions, distribute rewards.
What about escrowing the funds as a start if he manages to get a project (which in itself would be a challenge for him considering his rank)?  Tongue
DT members will make his trust page bleed red if he starts running a campaign without escrowing the funds which is what should be done since the participants could be exposed to the risk of getting scammed.

Managing a campaign can be challenging if someone without proper knowledge and experience comes out of nowhere and starts immediately with managing a campaign. It's better for OP for first get himself familiar with each and everything within this forum as well as in cryptocurrency industry in general.

First off, you have to build your name and trust around this forum. If you don't have any of these, there's really no way for you to get into the role as you need people to actually trust you to do things and handle finances on their behalf. If we're talking about the difficulty of the job, it certainly is one of the easiest thing to do there, and you just have to be organized in order to succeed. But what matters most is being fit for the job: are you trustworthy enough to take this role and would people do as you say so long as it's what the team needs?

On the other hand I actually found it a bit funny about this when opening up the altcoin discussion because the initial 3 threads were like one after another in sequence.
Starting from this thread and there are two others below it

Becoming a Bounty Manager
Question about token holders for a specific project

although indeed for the third thread (second in the link) actually it doesn't really clash but it's a little interesting about the discussion here now. why are new people interested and trying to become a bounty manager Cheesy Even if there is no problem about it but this coincidence is too intentional.

And the problem is, being a newbie, I don't think project owners will hire them.
Very rare that they do hire a newbie here, unless, they are also part of the project.
Also, in my opinion, better do other tasks to earn money, rather than be a bounty manager.
Or maybe, try to promote one project like in article writing, social media promotion, just to feel how it goes for you.
Because even as a newbie, you can promote a certain project without having higher rank in this forum.
Also most bounty projects don't pay decent after the promotion is over. So high likely that you are just wasting your time.

Do you have your own coin to promote or are you going to offer yourselves to be a bounty manager, if it's the latter forget it, build your reputation here first and try to rank up I know you want to be a manager not because of the challenge because you want to make money right away.
It's not easy to be a manager unless you know the in and out of Bitcointalk, I may be too harsh but you have to see the reality here.

Thanks for comment.
