You are most wekcome. If you received a notification but the merit count is not correct then you can set your merit count to the correct count by sending this command /setmerit (your total merit). I already added the command to the op. As what I see in the image you provide it seems that it is in correct count. Honestly, It only happened in my telegram once that the count is synchronized where it should be (example your total merit is 83) but the notification in telegram is 81 merits.
Yes bot is working properly, I display the image before getting the current merits count (83). everything went smoothly, as well as notifications when you reply to this post.

In accordance with the topic, I was curious to install the telegram bot application and not long after that a notification rang informing me that I got 1 merit.
Thank you @nakamura12, this is very helpful  Smiley

I have been using this bot for a long time. This is a very useful bot.  There was some problem in my bot few weeks back like the number of received merit was wrong. But now it's okay. It is very easy to install.  Thanks TryNinja for creating this bot.
There is a command you can use to set the merit count to the correct count. You have to type /setmerit(space merit count.). I have added to op. Seems I forgot about it when I myself also experienced the same thing where I had to finf out from TryNinja amount setting merit to the correct count of merits when you received a merit. As of now, works great and receive notification from tracked topics, quoted, mention through posting your username.

I just saw this, and it's incredible that there's a bot like this that exists so that we can track who ever replies to our posts, especially if there's a specific thread where we expect to have a good discussion. I already have one, the Btctalk_meritbot, which I started using last year, and your bot does the same, but Btctalk_meritbot doesn't alert me if someone has merited me, so I'll absolutely use your bot.

Also, if there is an existing discord bot that does the same thing, I'd be happy to utilize it because I'm pretty active in discord and it'll always keep me up to date on my forum activity.
There is a new update made by TryNinja to the Bitcointalk SuperNotifier v2. I am glad the bot did reach you and finally know about it. It feels goos when you able to help someone you don't know or those who didn't know this bot. Actually, this bot is not actually mine, it is stated in the op that the owner of this bot is TryNinja. All credits should go to TryNinja for creating this bot and I only focus on sharing how to setup this bot on your telegram. I am also using this bot myself and I received notification from the threads I tracked, merit notifs and mentioned notifs.
Yes, it's a great help for me; right now, I'm busy with other things as well; I'm trading and playing NFT games at the same time; these types of apps will undoubtedly assist me in notifying such actions on the forum. I've already tried it and it's fantastic. Thank you so much for your help!

..but Btctalk_meritbot doesn't alert me if someone has merited me, so I'll absolutely use your bot.

Use all, there is one another, so you never miss notification. They don't take much time to setup anyway
I believe that utilizing this bot is sufficient; I don't want a lot of things in my telegram chat, which is already cluttered with many crypto-related projects and communities. And, moreover, if the other bot can do everything, I'll absolutely use it; there's no reason to use the other one Smiley

This will really be helpful to a lot of people in the forum, i got to know about it today and i just set it up. There is a lot to learn in the forum
It is very easy to setup and it won't take a lot of time to setup the bitcointalk SuperNotifier. You only need to provide the UID to start using the bot for free or without payment. Its all thanks to the creator of this bot which I only share on how to set it up without the hairy hand with smartwatch as mentioned in previous page. Glad this thread help you about the bot.

I am really glad to come through this wonderful and helpful post, I can now know who mentioned my name or quote my reply or post. Thank you so much for your wonderful contribution towards guiding and sharing more knowledge in this forum. I hope very soon one can also reply directly from the bot too.
I don't know if that is possible but you can ask the own if that feature is possible to make or implement it but in telegram you can click the link and redirects to your browser and thwn to the thread but you need to quote or post your reply. That works too.

Oh No, don't feel bad or sorry for how you address it, you did a great job actually. I won't take it as offensive because for some people like me who are not that tech-savvy, this thread is very helpful. I can now easily view who quoted or reacted my post and we can have a meaningful exchanging of ideas. So many new posts everyday, you can easily overlook those feedbacks and comments that need answers.  Cool
Thank you for the kind words. I only show how to setup the telegram bot in this thread but the bot is created by TryNinja and it's all thanks to TryNinja for such a useful bot. I'm glad I could help someone like you who didn't know about this bot yet. Some did setup this bot already but didn't get notified so I did ask him to delete the bot and set it up again and now it's working.

I was on verge of getting offended when you said newbies, noobs Tongue (if you play video games you would understand)
It's entirely up to you if how you would interpret what I said. Of course I play video games and I understand. It's just that real newbies can follow this guide and those who are not newbies anymore can do it themselves without my help. Anyway, thanks for letting me know. There could be someone else that could be offended Tongue.

Thanks for this thread. I learned a lot, actually i wouldn't knew it, if this thread was not posted here in bitcoin. It was a very useful information indeed and the tutorial pictures were also very helpful.

You are most welcome to follow the guides to setup the bot but you should thank the maker of this bot. I only created this thread for guiding those who don't know how to set up the bot. That is the purpose for this and I don't own the bot at all. You should visit the original thread where it could also be connected to smart watches.

Nice tutorial mate I did not know about this supernotifier until I saw this thread looks like this is a big help to me when Im at work and want to received some new notifs from topics, I have a question can I also set to notify me from user if he created a thread like if someone in bounty section posted new thread? thanks
No you can't but you can follow the user you wanted to follow and you will know of that forum user will create a new thread or a post. Try to check out the link given by Maus0728 and see if it is what you are looking for. Unfortunately, this bot is for merit and mention notifications. You can also track topics where you'll receive notifs when a forum user posted on the thread you track. I'll take screenshots on how to add a thread to track, ignore users or to remove from being ignored, ignore or unignore topics. Check the quote below.

You can follow someone's post or user profile by using @LoyceV's: Follow users on Bitcointalk.org (posts and/or topics)

In my thread #meritislife: how to be notified on a smartband of merits and mentions I explained how to get an haptic feedback each time you get a merit or mention, so to fuse your life with forum life.
Plus this thread lacks the infamous hairy wrist gallery.

So, I would say while this thread is very good for moderate and sensible users, my thread has a little bit of added fanatism!
I'll try it with my smartwatch and see if ever It can receive notif from telegram except the hairy part but I am sure my watch can receive notif from facebook and sms in mobile phone.

I guess it's good that there is a tutorial like this in B&H (although I'm not sure it doesn't already exist), but I'm 100% sure I've already read the tutorial for this bot in Meta posted by @fillippone, with the addition that he showed how to use this bot with smartwatches.

I think this is another interesting way to get notified given that smart watches have become very popular and very cheap.

Correct Sir.
