1) Post a bitcoin address that you control somewhere on the forum. Here's a thread dedicated to it. Note: you don't necessarily have to sign a message with the bitcoin address on that thread.

2) If asked later, sign a message with that address.

You sign an address that is attached to your bitcointalk account... That's basically what a signed message is.

What wallet?
If you're using blockchain, go to the "receiving" tab & right click the more actions on the right.
Select sign message, write a message click "Sign message"
Copy the message, address & signature and give it to someone to verify.
