transfering your funds to a cold storage and lock them all actually will not prevent you to gamble.

you just simply buy another bitcoin and then gamble it. keeping yourself in busy it should work because the reason people gambling and get addicted are they have too many free time .

thats true, gambling can make you happy only for a really short period of time, and if you get addicted then you might even become a sad person

If you really want to stay away from gambling you must have strong determination.

So, you are going to help yourself to stay away from gambling.
Because without strong determination you are just going to get back again once you are already staying away from it.

Your ego is going to dictate you that you must go back again in gambling if you are not determined for your change.

Right. The very first person that can help you overcome gambling addiction is yourself. No amount of peer and professional support can easily help you overcome the said addiction but yourself. When you have that fixed and determined conviction to change, then you will change and if you won't help yourself, no one can either.

Well that is going to make your attention caught if you are going to get along with the people that you have the same interest at all. That is what I have done from the past when I was still a gambler at all. I did the same interesting things with my friends in able to kill my time with that activity just to avoid the gambling activities.

Putting your time and attention to other things is going to make you stay away from gambling easily. And you are going to put your effort and time in it and you are going to be tight with the management of your time then that is going to be the bests way to stay away from gambling because if you know how to manage your money then you are going to stay away in gambling.

I like the idea of time management because its said " empty house is a devil's workshop " and hence if you have lots and lots of free time you will always find time for gambling.
And otherwise if our schedule is tight we will not have a minute to spare and hence we wont be able to find any time for gambling, hence reducing the effect of gambling slowly.

That is really possible that the OP gambles with bitcoins (no wonder because anybody can create an account to online casinos that accept bitcoin and deposit bitcoin instantly as compared to ordinary fiat money where there are many requirements to submit in order to activate casino account) Well, aside from installing new games to desktop and storing coins in cold storage, might as well indulge oneself to physical activities outdoors with friends and loved ones.

Involvement in particular activities that you like or you feel happy doing can avoid your gambling habit for a short time I think because you cannot do fishing or play sports whole day and night. While if you see even 1 minute of gambling is also equally poisonous as is a whole day of non stop gambling. So apart from treatment from doctor I see no real thing which can help you.

Because gambling is made to enjoy the paid games so we need to spend money to get that enjoyment but not for you to earn money. Gambling houses are doing business to make profits on their investments so they will make sure at the end they are in profit and gamblers will be in losing side. So just gamble sometimes and save your money.

Gambling is not a source of money.

Some people can't guarantee there winning every day of course but because of having lots of winning in everyday they can chase there loses in gambling website where also they can easily bring back the lose and to put some thrill there going to bet more and sometimes they playing with their friends to get more interesting Cheesy

Yeah its just for fun for some people playing on gambling that they accept even s/he lose
And i think not all rich people playing it for fun let me to tell you a short story that i got reason for someone that in the first time she having fun in casino she won and then she brings her children to any places to celebrate using her won money and she gave money each of her children
After all money won is gone she back on casino to play again but lost and she withdraw money in the bank ATM to have a capital again but she failed and lost again. after few days she's always thinking that she needs to regain back her losses and try her luck again she mortgage(pawn)
her car to have a money to use it in casino but she lost again and she feel that she got a big problem, she never stop to try again
She sold her necklace and bracelet to play again and lost it all again.
Do you think guys is just for fun for rich people?
For me Maybe but not all and i think not all people has the same reason there are some people want to win in gambling

Majority of addicted gamblers started gambling as fun or took it as a mean of time passing. It takes you to addiction in any case whether you win or loose these both provokes to keep trying. If you are at early stages just quit as gambling is not fun. If you are addicted person then you need much effort and strong will to stay away. unless you have some more attractive activity you can not stay away of gambling for long time. Better cut off your internet connection for few days, nothing going to happen if you don't use internet few days.

Our aggressiveness sometimes will lead us to losing in the end. We are so excited to play gambling when we have money in our hand open our account and look for the games to play, we win at first and once we will start to experience loses that is when we use our aggressiveness to chase our bets.
