I've reported so many that i've lost count. All they say is that it's not under their control. As long as its not child porn & terrorism, they wont really do anything.
James is right, those providers really don't care on what people report to them. These scammers will never die, they will multiply all over the internet. There are so many black hats lurking all over the internet and their number 1 target is money. Even if you successfully report their website to their hosting provider or domain site provider, they will never stop because they know that there are so many people who are still entertaining ponzis. So I think the best way is to never give up to mark their ponzi with a warning sign so that the people who were trying to invest will be warned and all of the warnings that you did really worked to some people who are not dumb.

Marking them as scams works on the forum but not when they buy ad space around many sites. I will keep reporting to their hosting providers and most have been willing to work with me on the matter. If anything I will make the waste some money on hosting and ads. It may not stop them but it will slow them down. Wink

I agree, this time I want to report this site that steals people many years.

I read many stories of people who have been disgraced by this scammer and his site until today this online, but I will report this site even goes offline.

Here is the site scam.

I am now working to get these sites taken offline...

probtc .net
bitraters .com

Their hosting abuse email is [email protected]

Can you guys help me out by sending them a email and request that the sites be taken offline due to scamming people for bitcoin by promising outrageous "investment offers". The more people that email them, the faster they will remove these sites.

I am on it... Cool

I will help on this, i told you before that is a good idea... Tongue

Both have the same host?

yes, they are both using enom.com

to report them just send a email to [email protected]

Thanks for the help. Wink

No need to thank me, we all have to do what we have to do... Wink

EDIT : Mail done and sent...

Hello,

Please be informed that the abusive account has been suspended.

Thank you for reporting the issue.

now all three sites are offline (for now) and I will report them again if they come back online.

4BTC.PW
doublebitcoins.io
BITCOININVEST.CO

This is how you stop these scammers.

If everyone does their part, these sites wont last long at all and all advertising money they spent to promote those sites will go to waste. Smiley

Looks your plan is great. reporting domain in domain site or hosting site is the best to prevent or to close the site.. the i already testing the first one is no access and the two is suspended. .this is a good idea. just keep continue reporting them..

this is the latest one, just promote his site in bitcointalk.org
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.15146252

I reported them to their host about an hour ago but their hosting support was not helpful.

I notice that namecheap is a great service and they will remove the scam sites within a day or so.

They actively work to remove scam sites from their service.

Namecheap ist not a hoster. it's a domain registrar.
And most of this "cheap TLD" corporations don't give a shit.

Like cloudflare don't give a shit that it protects scams and their owner.

example scrypt.cc. got reported several times to cloudflare, the hoster, the domain registrar, the police, the cyber crime center.. and so on.

no offense, but don't you think someone else had before you already this idea?

Were it only so simple...

namecheap is a hoster and registrar.

You will see all three of those sites offline within a day or so. I guarantee it.

i know cloudflare helps scams but we need to do what we can to slow them down.

Namecheap is a hoster and its against of the ToS. Likely, Namecheap will ban them because it's too cheap such a hosting for a dirty scam site.

Cloudflare isn't helping a lot in order to close the door for hyips and ponzi. Maybe they have an paid plan.

Hello everyone, I know you guys have seen the "double your bitcoins" scams and there are tons of these sites.

I have been doing my part in getting them shut down and it is simple...

Just do a whois look up of the website.

Then find the hosting site that the site is hosted from.

Then contact the hosting company support and report the domain for scamming people from their bitcoin.

Most hosting companies will investigate them and then ban them from the hosting and taking the site offline.

I just reported these sites to namecheap and they should be offline within a few days...

4BTC.PW
doublebitcoins.io
BITCOININVEST.CO

So the next time you find sites like these, do your part and report them and it will at least slow them down.

Yes, this is a nice idea...

But i think that if the hosting companies get their payments, why will do this?
Their job is to provide "hosting", not to investigate scam sites... Roll Eyes
