I was wondering how common it is to use a crypto payment provider to deposit to Online Casinos at the moment? As I understand the method, you use your credit card and buy crypto that's then automatically converted and sent to the casino as real cash, but on your bank statement, the transaction will show a crypto transaction. Not a transaction to a Casino.

Why do payment methods ask me for my personal information and how secure is it?

First of all, some payment methods may require your passport or ID, I think the reason for this is to perform the verification process, complete the registration process and protect against fraud. Of course, you should do a detailed research on which payment method you used to avoid questions such as how secure is the payment method, which security company should be contracted with, and whether our data is sold?

We want to open a gaming business for Asian countries - Japan, China, and Thailand. What payment systems do you think will be convenient for this region? Thanks in advance.

The Asian online gambling market is very attractive due to the developing economy and population density, but the local government complicates the work with its conservative attitude. And if we consider your countries, I will come to the fact that

  • 1. Online gambling is prohibited in China, including Hong Kong. But there is an opportunity to launch your online gambling project in Macau. However, since 2010, only 8 new gambling projects have opened in Macau, and since 2018 the list has not been updated at all, which suggests that new projects have not received a local gambling license for about 4 years.
  • 2. Online gambling can be implemented in Japan, provided that the company must be registered in another country.
  • 3. All types of gambling are completely banned in Thailand.

I recommend considering the Indian market, which is developing very well in this area due to the practical lack of regulation by the state.

And regarding payment gateways, based on the above, I recommend that you take a closer look at crypto payments, which greatly simplify access to the market for people in jurisdictions where gambling is prohibited. Since in most Asian countries, any transactions involving gambling sites can arouse suspicion from banks and, subsequently, from government regulatory authorities.

Most popular payment gates would be like:

Summing up, it is worth considering that it is not easy to enter the Asian market. To do this, you will need, in most cases, an international gambling license and payment gateways that will be able to accept crypto payments.

Is there a list of companies that are engaged in connecting turnkey payment systems? and maybe there are reviews on such aggregators.

Can payment methods block or delete money in my account?

3 days ago, I sent money to about 6K different people using the payment method. Within 1 hour, a message followed. Please contact us to prove whether the transactions belong to you or not. Then I called customer service and did everything they told me to. He said that your transfers will take place within 20 minutes at the latest. When I entered the account afterwards, yes, money transfers were made, but the money was not sent to the people I transferred.
Then I wanted to connect to customer service, but I could not connect, I sent an e-mail, no response. Two days later, I saw a news about the company and it turned out that they ran away with about 128 million dollars. That's why it's so important that the company has proven its safety.

from the places you mentioned i know quite clear that the only way you can pay this countries is to through cryptocurrency because this time cryptocurrency is now a global cryptocurrency or currency Which people from different regions accept easily for payment, because with cryptocurrency they can convert to USD and spend, from my opinion cryptocurrency is better for payment

Can payment methods block or delete money in my account?

The main issue here is which payment method you used. This can be a bit dangerous if its reliability has not been proven.

In all honesty, I thought payment gateways were supposed to make withdrawals and money transfers easier, but it is more complex and with a lot more restrictions. I think these payment gateways were only created to make a "middle-man" profit and to serve as a regulated entity to track money transfers.  Roll Eyes

I think the less complicated strategy will be to use Crypto for direct payments to a person's wallet and then have them dealing with the taxes and the whatnot that are applicable to their country. (They are responsible for their own taxes) Roll Eyes

Why would they have to use a thirdparty payment gateway when they can use crypto currencies? If they are using fiat, yeah, then it's their disadvantage and they have to struggle with the payment gateways and pay those massive fees when funds enter or moves out of the casino.
That's why most online casinos and players now prefer to use crypto currencies. No need for any third party payment gate way. They can set their own wallet within few minutes and start accepting payments without issue.
I think that many gambling sites are using a third party service right now. Dunno why but maybe it's going to be beneficial to them? And a third party service can offer features that we don't normally get when we accept crypto directly like they can do an instant trading between fiat and crypto or vice versa.

And we know that many people are still new to crypto and are hesitant to use a crypto. There are also old crypto users that don't like the volatility of crypto especially when use in gambling that is why they can use a fiat. Depending on the payment provider, the fees can be manageable and not really that expensive so they need to choose wisely.

Have someone research for you what are the known payment systems for each of those countries. Because there could be conflicts if your payment system will be in crypto.

We've heard the news about China restricting crypto transactions.

And that's why you have to make a research first before deciding what is to accept and that depends on the demand for each of those countries if those are the countries as your target market.

Maybe conduct a short market survey or just dig info over the net.
Because just like you said, since China has restrictions when it comes to crypto, it is not advisable to have payment in crypto only.
You will consider their fiat, CNY, and that will entail other legal requirements to fulfill to accept this method.
Japan and Thailand may be more acceptable with crypto payment, but then again, you need to research about their gambling protocols.
Yes.

Every single payment method that will give them demand is what they must have. Any adaptable payment method that's friendly not just to them but mostly to their players for those specific countries is what they aim for.

It's actually one of the first moves that they have to do and that's good since someone has asked for it.

As a rule, an online casino allows you to withdraw funds only by the payment methods that were used for replenishment. Although there should be systems where this point is not important and the player can change. Is there such a thing on your list?

There are 2 types of withdrawal methods, primarily varying in countries and casinos.

In a type 1 casino, you will need to transfer the payout to this account from which the deposit was opened.

my preference is for the 2nd one

In the 2nd type casinos, you can withdraw money regardless of the investment method. If you have deposited with crypto, you can request a withdrawal with your visa or master card.

Is there a safety rating for a regular player on the list? Is the list checked for miscoding?

When collecting data, we necessarily took this factor into account. All payment systems specified in the dataset have an anti-fraud system.

Mostly preferred options now are cryptocurrency, banks, e-wallets and points.

That isn't the most preferred, but rather the ONLY options you can get for or from a gambling project. Can you think of other method of payment other than what you've mentioned? Real-life cash deposits? That would still rely on e-wallets since there would be no gambling project if not made possible thru a mobile or an online as a medium. I just am shocked to have no more ideas and thoughts on about what are the other options other than those you've mentioned lol.

I think starting with their local currency is a good start in knowing what payment systems should be accepted. At least, you must implement a function where they can conveniently convert their local currency to cryptocurrency so this could attract their attention if you were to open a gaming business in Asia.

In the Philippines, I highly suggest that you have an option to pay using our convenient mobile app (e.g. GCash) since such is already linked to several payment methods that can be conveniently converted and transferred from one currency to another. This kind of step must be discovered and studied by your team before implementing such option.
