I think investing altcoin in a very easy, you just participated in the ICO and ICO finished waiting to get your money back.

but you should be careful in participating in the ICO because it is very vulnerable SCAM

how to invest in new altcoin ?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.17180511

You can check this post. It shows how the gunbot (which is an amazing bot if you ask me) puts out the profitable alghorithm they have. Using these I have always found profitable coins and invested properly. However don’t forget that this is short term, not buy and forget strategy.

Learn it. Understand it. Believe it. Trade it.
Just make sure you always use the money you're willing to lose and don't be discouraged when you lose some money. You win some, you lose some.

how to invest in new altcoin ?

Study first about cryptocurrency then next study about trading and next things would come next on choosing an altcoin to invest and with proper knowledge you would able to identify which has the potential or a shitcoin.Always seek for active community and developers transparency about their project that is included on indications of a good coin.

Well it's very easy to invest in alt coin, as long as you do have enough bitcoins or capital on your wallet to buy so. Just choose the best alt coins that has a good progress and has the potential to keep on growing. Don't buy those alt coins that are near to be dead or else you are going to feel sorry and will just waste your money on it.

how to invest in new altcoin ?

What you need to do is mainly make sure that the coin is open source and there isn't a secret way for the developers to get access to new coins that would appear out of thin air, thus making it a scamcoin.

I believe this is what happened with USBcoin in the past. The users basically got scammed by these scumbags.

Anyways, good luck. There are a lot of opportunities that are present in the altcoin world.

how to invest in new altcoin ?

you need to research new altcoin, collect important data from the altcoin, decide if its good for you or not, don't expecting too much with new altcoin since they don't have history in the past, and the last thing that you should have is be careful to select the new altcoin because if you pick the wrong altcoin, then you can not make profit.

how to invest in new altcoin ?

Find some promising new altcoin in Alternative cryptocurrency/announcement section of this forum and invest in their ICO.
But be careful in investing.
And you must try to go in other forum or search some news about the coin you want to trade do not stick on 1 news that you read and also just read the history of the coin to be your basis on investing. i recommend that you would invest that amount you can afford to lose.

Yes, that's the better answer. Wanted to write about averaging down but your bullet "Never go all in on any certain alternative cryptocurrency" covers that up, too.
"Study" first, then "learn" how to trade - by mistake mostly. No way around that. Start with a tiny portfolio. After that got lost completely, scale up.

I recently created a post on how to evaluate the quality of a coin thus, how much you should invest (as it seems that it is what every one wants to know here) https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-guide-for-altcoins-rating-1853469
This is more focused on technical specs of coins, and how to identify a scam ICO, or at least, the minimal work to do before investing.
This way, if you are scamed by a shitcoin ICO, you would have been warned, and teached how to avoid them.

How new does the altcoin have to be?

I would suggest getting into Bitcoin first and then trade into
your chosen altcoin from Bitcoin.

You will need to do some research and work out the positives
and negatives. Check the announcement threads here on BtcTalk
and obviously check out news articles on google and reddit etc.

No-one knows what the future holds and a true example of this
is the activity surrounding "Litecoin" which up to a few weeks ago
was talked about as being "dead"

how to invest in new altcoin ?

Investing is a process in which you purchase a specific item or something with value in hoping to generate income that increase in overtime in the future. So in your question " how to invest in new Altcoin? " that's just a general question, you should be more specific about it. There are many Altcoins in the market but before you invest you need to do your research on what is an Altcoin and is it worth your time to invest on a specific altcoin?, What altcoins do have in mind? those kind of question that you need to search for yourself. You can try check in here => https://99bitcoins.com/6-steps-to-evaluate-alternative-cryptocurrencies/ It's a steps to evaluate to know that if it is worth it to invest an Altcoin cryptocurrency. For me in my opinion answering your question, in investing an Altcoin you should have spare money for exchanging your money into an Altcoin or in other way you can earn altcoins without using your money by doing faucets and other stuffs. I would not recommend it that's because its going to take a lot of time by doing so, so its better if you just have spare money and set how much you wanna invest. Then do your research on what specific Altcoins you want to invest. After you finally decided on what Altcoin you wanna invest your just want to wait until the Altcoin decreases its value, and sell it when the value increases.  Wink You can check it in here => https://yobit.net/en/. Most of the new and high end Altcoins are listed in here so you just wanna check in that site once a while or whenever you like. Wink Good luck  Wink

You can try to participate in an ICO (after you have done your due diligence), always invest what you can afford to lose. Or you might you can try to purchase new altcoins when they hit exchanges, though you need to make smart decision because the prices are volatile.

terrible idea in my opinion. ICO is a new method of scamming people out of their money and getting rich for the new altcoins that are coming out. it has replaced the old way of doing a premine to make a lot of money from the dump. since people caught on to the premine scam now there is new method of scam called ICO.
instead of taking a huge risk which you can end up losing a lot of money in, try to buy those coins that have been around for a while and have some charts you can look at and find some real information about them.

It was simply an alternative. There are some good projects that are going ahead because of the funds that they receive during ICO. as always, it's important to do due diligence.

i can give you an idea how to invest in new altcoin, first look only for new launched altcoin, if you want to invest cheap, bacause they have no value, and this make them more convenient you can buy many with just 0.01, then you wait for the pump, this pump happen very fast after the coins is listed on an exchange, when the coin is pumped 2x above the MINING PROFIT, you can sell for a good return
