I will not pressurized my kids to learn about bitcoin at that early stage and I will ask them to have concentrate on studies and have fun in their childhood days instead of getting them into money matters.

And under pressure at any age it is not interesting to find out something. You need to interest the child with a game with which you can earn money, and then he will begin to more seriously explore the market.

Yeah a bitcoin faucet site with various games would be the best idea. The player will be rewarded with bitcoins when the he wins. It will also feature fun cartoon bitcoin educational videos where the player can watch to multiply his score. I got this idea from google play apps where you can watch ad videos to multiply your scores. The child can learn bitcoin in a fun way.

Yup, multiplying 1k sats by 2x, 3x, 5x, or even 10x is quite a good earnings. Roll Eyes

Honestly, these Android/iOS games that lets you earn some money is just giving the same amount of money a typical boring faucet site is giving you. I see no reason why you should, or even your kid in this case, have to waste his time watching all these educational videos which he's probably not going to learn that well unless a further research was made, just to earn some centavos at the end of a day's work.

It's not fun at all unless the videos are, like, Peppa Pig, SpongeBob, etc. Whatever cartoon your kid likes to watch, not some animated educational videos that they are probably too young to comprehend anyways.

I think we can tell kids about Bitcoin so that they will not be ignorant when someone talk about it.  We should tell them about bitcoin so that they will knew it is a currency and won't take it for granted.  But the knowledge should stop there since Bitcoin is a complicated stuff that even mature people are having a hard time comprehending the whole of it.
Lol yeah Even elderly people will be a little confused to know and understand bitcoin. I do not think it's appropriate to give the science of bitcoin to small children. Of course they will not understand it

Yeah they will really find it complicated and will surely get confused and won't be interested in knowing bitcoins at that early age so I think we should not waste our time in explaining to kids and wait for the right time and introduce them to bitcoins when they become mature enough.

I tried already to explain to my young cousin but in result, It ended up on nothing, They just love games but they are not interested on studying complicated things such as bitcoin. So figure out that bitcoin is not meant for kids and it might cause to give a bad effect once they soak on gambling which gambling was famous to use.

Might as well not let them touch fiat money at all since gambling is also famous with fiat money. It's even more famous since most people are gambling with fiat in real life casino. The amount of bitcoin gamblers is nothing compared to the amount of gamblers of fiat.

It's possible that the kids are going to gamble with their bitcoins but just because that possibility exists, you should dismiss the huge ideology that they can learn in the bitcoin world. Simply bypassing the government in transactions is a way of thinking that you shouldn't always be controlled by another entity or that it's okay to not follow the traditional way of things.

That would be a great decision, build the kids educational foundation first to make them more effective during their working years.  Introducing Bitcoin to kids is good but telling them to focus on earning Bitcoin is another thing.  Making them know bitcoin so that they won't be ignorant is a good thing but never force them int Bitcoin because it will greatly affect their education and future.

i think the idea is pretty good but getting kids intract with bitcoin is really tough stuff. they are more likely or Lesley gonna hate or love bitcoin but most of them are really not gonna understand the core concept of it. we can make some board games or card games or even digital video games so they can get a basic understanding of it and how money work which they are already getting with their faint currency.

Educating kids isn't necessary to do, they're just a kid. Were most kids like to play most often, then we shouldn't insist nor force them to take some study about in bitcoin. The only thing we can do only for them, I think lets us show them only the good benefits and features of bitcoin so they will become familiar unto it.
teaching Kids about bitcoin is not necessary you are right at this point. but there is lots of ways to teach kids about bitcoin. just just giving them pressure of hard education.
you can teach your kids with bitcoin related games, and  videos,
No need to pressure kids because they are just kids, just give them time to explore and if they are not interested
then you have to wait for the right time when they will be. It's hard to force kids to learn because they have different focus in life.

That depends on the culture and on how matured the kid you are teaching, usually hey have their interest
and bitcoin is boring to them although they can earn because they are not in the stage yet where they need money.

It may not be a problem when you teach your son that bitcoin is like a regular local currency. But I'm not sure they will understand how to use bitcoin?

Well there will be a time to tell your children about bitcoin. I don't think that it should be taught along with other things that are really necessary for their childhood. If the kid is interested with numbers and economics then I think it's fine to teach them at an early age but in general I don't think it's a good idea and I don't think children would be interested anyway

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
Kids these days are increasingly smart and have so much more access to things. Games are the way to go, solve puzzles make a few satoshi (very few) and in exchange to these satoshis you unlock more puzzles or get some kind of a virtual reward.
This would enable the thought process that you've got to earn if you want something for yourself, and also keeps them in close vicinity to crypto-currency and the crypto-world.
The millennials today our way on dependent to technology or technically born with the power of technology brought by development of science and computers. Bitcoin as a part of technology the can be used through internet kids today is much aware to used it and to learn on using it. And for me bitcoin is not hard to learn and to used at all because it internet base and if we can see all of the thing surrounding us is develop through the power of internet. So bitcoin is indeed the future currency which kid or the future of the world can used and understand.

Yes, they must not be forced to study or earn bitcoin, they are kids. And we can't just show them or introduce them bitcoin, I don't think that they will be interested in that topic. They will be just sleep or play while you are telling them what is the features of bitcoin because they can't really use it.

and this is why we only need to introduce bitcoin to our kids by doing playing games because kids maybe attracted with the games that they don't know and it makes them curious to play. but don't let them playing the games too long because they need to enjoy their life too with their friends and who know they can help us to spread about bitcoin with their friends too.
