As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?
a good way that i can think of is that. get them their own bitcoin wallet with a private key and everything and put like a dollar in it and explain the concept of bitcoin to them. thats how i got into bitcoin lol.

I tried to teach someone to learn tbicoin lately and what i'm planing to do is to buy a video tutorial in lynda.con which is "up and running with bitcoin". I wanna teach him to simply earn by joining forum posting at first then gradually helping him to learn altcoin trading. I'm not sure how this will work but i get to download this video tutorial through torrent site
Youtube is the best source if you want to teach someone about bitcoin,you dont need to go through all the stuff about bitcoin you just need to explain the practicality of bitcoin,and there are lots of videos on YouTube.
I agree that videos can be very informative and helpful. But if you are talking to someone and bitcoin topic will come up suddenly in your conversation. Yet your best answer will be: go watch some videos on YouTube?That seems the most ignorant thing to do IMO, you have to had some knowledge - even the most basic one to be able to explain bitcoin phenomenon to people without giving them answers like: 'google it yourself'.
