Good read. Thanks

But, how to send ERC20 ICO token from ICO wallet platform to MEW?

I hope I used the right channel for this enquiry.. haha

Thanks.

If you want to transfer the tokens I hope you need the ethereum in the wallet to make the transaction. I suggest you to go with using the MEW alone to save your tokens.
If you are using the any wallet which can be able to withdraw the tokes without having the ethreum please share that to me too.
Please follow the steps to resolve your problem with the 2nd response in this thread.

Hi it depends on the ICO Token platform, but one thing for sure, that platform will ask you for a ERC 20 token, either in your profile or settings or upon registration. Just put your mew address and ready to transfer.

You can also indicate here your token purchase so that we can help you.

Yep, they probably will ask you for Ethereum address. Just watch out for phishing attacks.
Hackers are very active in that area these days.

If the token is already listed on my account on Mew like ZRX, then I use the default Mew wallet address to received token?

You must use your ETH address to receive Ethereum or any of its tokens. There is no difference between Ethereum, ZRX or any other token.

Yeah got it now.

If you haven't created a wallet in MEW yet, please proceed in the link for an accurate step by step guide : How to Create a Wallet

In regards with transferring ERC20 tokens from exchanges:
* Copy your wallet address in myetherwallet
* Go to the exchange, Balances/Wallet/Funds, and choose the token you want to withdraw
* Click the withdraw button
* Paste the address in the correct field and put the amount you want to withdraw
* Double check the Address
* Follow the next instructions given in the exchange

~ Bittrex : How can I withdraw my coins?
~ Poloniex : How do I withdraw my coins?
~ Binance : Steps to Withdraw

If your withdrawal was completed and your token aren't showing in MEW, maybe it is not a default token and you need to add it. Please follow this guide on how to Add a Custom Token.

If that's the case then yes, just send it to your MEW address and that's it.

To note: You will be using only one eth address (in MEW) regardless of token being default or not. The only difference is that when it is a default token, after sending it to your MEW address it will show up automatically in your balance withouth doing anything. However, if it's not, you need to add the contract address and decimal of the token in MEW via Add a Custom Token (follow the guide I gave last time).

Sending tokens from any exchsnge to myetherwallet is as easy as sending bitcoins. You just need to create a wallet on official website.
Don't make mistake to search my on google for this wallet, you may be hacked later. Here is an original link to it  https://myetherwallet.com .
Make sure to keep backup of you wallet data, enter the private key you have been given while creating myetherwallet account and copy your ethereum address, put it on bitttrex and click send. Your tokens should now be seen in your wallet on myetherwallet.com

i dont think so. sending tokens using mew is not as easy as sending bitcoins using a bitcoin wallet because mew tends to be complicated especially when you send some alts or tokens to some online exchanges like etherdelta. that is because you need to add the tokens or alts first in order for you to send them but in a bitcoin wallet you dont do anything ether , all you gotta do is to type the amount and click on send.

The answer is simply yes! It's like a built in feature of myetherwallet, you can automatically receive any type of erc 20 tokens. You don't have to set up anything with it, just give your ETH wallet address to the sender and it will be sent to your MEW automatically and once you have receive it already that will appear to your tokens received.

of course not, you cant say that you cant do anything on myetherwallet because some coins and tokens wont just simply appear on the list therfor you need to add them manually by knowing and inputting the coin/token complete details like contract address and decimal.

So you mean myetherwallet address is enough to receive all kinds of ERC 20 tokens? Don't I need separate addresses?

As far as I know you don't need a separate wallet for your ERC 20 tokens. MEW is enough to handle all your tokens from bounties.

Here is a blog that you can understand further how to setup ERC 20 tokens in MEW.

Hope this helps. And just like others have suggested, be careful out there, a lot of phishing site. Bookmark MEW, protect your private keys, used strong passwords.
