There is no guarantee in gambling and people already know that before gambling. But it is also true that many people do make money in it and so many people may find it profitable but I never found it to be so. I always rather lose more that what I win and so I consider myself unlucky at gambling. I rather prefer to use my skills and knowledge to earn money.

As long as you're spending some extra amount on these gambling games, then it should be okay. Because even though you know you can't win money, but still some people want to chase their luck and spend a lot of money in gambling. The article was good, but the thing is, gambling is based on factual decisions and not some random picks, and if someone is to make those picks randomly, and lose and try back again with the same strategy with the purpose of recovering back that previous loss, and panic and repeat the same process again and again, then they can't control themselves but will get into the bog of gambling quickly which is a phase called "addiction" which is not a good sign.

i don't know but its true those veterans/pro gamblers can manage to get good earnings coming from their skills they know how to manage well their bankrolls and they really taking advantage if they seen good chances to win, most of them are inside strategy games like pokers they really using good assessment in order to win.

As long as you win in a gamble and you take the advantage, it makes your profit. Ofcourse we all know that there is no thing that has no lose. Often times in trading and gambling, we are more likely to lose. However, if we can manage to take that lose, we could turn it into win through discipline and right decisions of bet.

It requires practice above all for the EV+ games like poker. And months of training as well. However I think most casinos are rigged to favor the casino itself and not the players. I cant make myself believe the algorithmic methods of fairness proving.

Again in sports betting the analysis of teams may be helpful, but only if the game is not fixed from beforehand. In most cases the games are fixed and not worth betting on.

Yeha but no one has been able to make a reasonnable regular income. It's always people who've been extremely lucky and won some kind of huge jackpot.
But you can't turn that into anything profitable
