This is great advice, but most people won't take it into account.
I've realized that it's more fun to gamble for smaller amounts or with some free bonus money, than it is to gamble huge amounts and feel bad when you lose sometimes.

I've won pretty substantial amounts from the faucets on Crypto-games, biggest was 0.02 BTC from a 4200 satoshi faucet withdraw, wich is not that much in the grand scheme of things, but considering it was free, it's still nice and felt good

And it is also a way that if someone get profit from gambling they should have to reduce the amount they bet if they cannot or do not want to stop playing at there, so in that case they at least will not lose back all of what they earn in first chance. So it is also a way to make gambling profitable.

If you want to turn gambling into a profitable activity, then first thing you should learn is dont play with your full limit, split the limit and play, try to bet on sports betting as in that gambling you can full details about the team, ground and their previous records and latest development of the team, so on this basis you can analyse the match and make bet which will win for you. Gambling is depend on luck, but everyone have no luck in gambling. Although it is impossible, no one give us any guaranty that the every bet we will win.

Yeah,, self control is important thing when you do gambling. We have to know when to stop whether get loss or win, not being greedy and control your emotions. Everybody has their own strategies to gambling, no one would tell you unless your friends. But, we have the main strategy, learning by experiences.

Exactly, no method will give you an advantage in dice games and slot machines because you are betting the system that has an advantage over you, and I would say that instead of beating the system why not invest on them for you to convert your gambling into a profitable activity.

I agree with lemipawa that is the problem when people gamble they don't know when to quit especially when greed together when rage comes to them and they can't help themselves in able to stop that feeling. I think gambling alone is going to become a profitable activity if you are just going to manage your self as you gamble and control your emotions.

Most of us has the problem, the thing is when we are winning in our session in gambling we will not stop because we want to push our luck to get more money as we can so it we will end in a losing passion. On the other hand, when we are losing we will not stop also as we want to take back our money and since we are not behaving well our decision will be affected which makes us lose in the end.

I don't think people are doing gambling just to get rich. People gets addicted because as you said it, it is a form of entertainment an addicting one, the emotions when you win makes you more addicted when playing it, your addiction grows everytime whether you win or lose. Yeah money is a big factor why they get addicted to it.

Indeed, but this very common problem of every player so to be honest nobody knows when to stop, it's very hard to take a break while having winning streak because it make us to feel like this we are very lucky today and can bankrupt the house, that is the reason we got busted in the end.
