Did he win it fairly? We don't know. As caga mentioned above, there was another person using an exploit and cheating the system.

I don't think "Hufflepuff" is the same person as "robbinhood". If he was patient enough to slowly accumulate a 2000 btc win, he won't be that stupid to make 140 straight wins to get caught.

If you really want to win in gambling, you should focus on a game with skills and master your skills. There is no strategy to help you win in dice.
