When I first started gambling I was already 30years of age and I knew to some extent the risk and the benefits attached to gambling I was in control of how much I spend at a time once I double my money I left sooner. gambling were my time out, since they were a reward. I had a feeling of been at home and a sense of belonging as soon as I entered the venue there was anticipation as well as friendless of staff and regular players the more I earn the more I spend  at some point and convincing myself I was having a good time it is true that gambling can be addictive but it also has it's own benefit so long you are control.
Best for you that you start gambling when you were already 30  years or above and that is a good age to start anything close to risk and addictions tendencies since at that age you will be able to control what you allow and do not allow while gambling,  but then what made it easier for you is because of your location because from what you have said you may be from a country where gambling is very unpopular and of that be the case,  it becomes easier to stay away from it until you grow to the level.

But in countries like the US where gambling is very popular and regulated by the government,  any child above 18 already knows what gambling is and how to go about it,  I guess that is what differentiates the level of exposure of both.

Gambling  is one of the most addictive activities one can get involved  with and most times, the hopes to win big someday has been of the major striking factors why people always gamble  despite how much they might have lost and in some cases, people indirectly chase losses because no one wants to be counted a loser in gambling, hence they persistently gamble with hopes of recovering their capital as well as having some winning on it and even even the winnings outnumber the losses, they still believe that they can do more better and end up losing everything.

I gambling involvement story is a long and funny one but long story short, I basically  gamble with only what I can afford to lose.
It's okay if people hope to win big from gambling, but they must realise they can't always win. But they don't mind if they still want to gamble as long as they can control themselves. But the average novice gambler can't control himself and plays too often until his money runs out. However, they also do not stop their gambling activities even though they have had a lot of losing experience because they still hope too much to win. That makes many beginners become gamblers who gamble regularly, and many of them find it difficult to stop their gambling activities.

I gambling involvement story is a long and funny one but long story short, I basically  gamble with only what I can afford to lose.
There are a lot of reasons why people get into gambling, but I would single out the three most basic ones. The most common in my opinion:
1) Curiosity and the desire for profit. This is the arrival in gambling after exposure to advertising. When a person is bored and he just wants to occupy his time with something.
2) Involvement after the stories of friends. Of course they will talk about what they won. And it will be a temptation for anyone - they will also plunge into the world of gambling and earn so.
3) Troubles in life. Some people come because of the desire to escape from the harsh reality.
4. You been hyped up on seeing others huge win which motivates you to gamble
5. You are stressed and want to have some past time
6. Just nothing, you do just feel like on doing gambling
7. want to become rich in easiest and fastest as possible

Experiencing first with gambling, then im a kind of person who dont really like on losing money on which im really that hesitant on making use of it with gambling.
If ever i do gamble then it would really be always on budget and wont really be that tending to go with those limit lines because if you do then you would lose up even more.
This is why you should really be that careful on whatever things that you would really be deciding specially on attaching yourself with gambling.
It is really just for entertainment purposes nothingless.

Yeah, and if you add to it some alcohol you have the perfect combination for losing all your money in a single night.

Casinos know this very well and usually would serve free drinks and food to people that are gambling. They want them to stay as much as possible to get all their money.

I used to gamble since childhood but only with close people because it was not normal in my country. But since i was 25 years old i started gambling online but with very little money because i didn't have enough money roots. Also in 2021 i made a lot of money from gambling but due to a small accident i lost a lot of money. However my first online gambling experience was a loss where i lost around $1000 something but after a few days i was winning and in almost every game.
It seems that you have a lot of capital for your first gambling experience. $1k USD is a large amount for me if we consider it as a gambling budget but it's nice that you recovered after playing again. If I were in your place and lose $1k USD at my first online gambling, I would probably won't gamble again knowing that I lose so much. It would be a disaster for me and would take a time for me to recover for such loses. I will just stick into physical casino where I find it comfortable.

It seems that you have gambling experience when you are 30 years old, but I believe that if you have better control to not continue gambling even if your income is getting bigger you must have control not to increase amount of budget you will use for gambling.
Having fun always cover for gambling addict, but if you can really control yourself you can enjoy every gamble you do.

If you know this and believe in what gambling truly is I expect you to always take risks with money you can afford to lose, the stuff that won't matter when your money is gone, like you making 200 dollars every month and you using 30 dollars for gambling in a month, always use a thinly part of your hard earned money to try out luck like gambling.

Yes, that's right mate, gambling is about financial control, if we fail to control our finances then whatever money we have will be lost. As you said, it is better to use a little money from our monthly salary to try our luck in gambling, if the money runs out then stop and gamble next month. Don't lose control and get carried away by emotions, it will actually result in greater losses

If you don't have a steady income do not move closer to gambling, the solution is not gambling, the solution is having something you doing that's giving you a steady income, it's better to pursue a steady income than to pursue a gambling career.

Casinos are not a place to make money, but a business that definitely makes a profit. Our loss in gambling is their profit. So don't think of gambling as a job. If don't have a steady income then don't dare to gamble unless are ready for the consequences, it is very likely that the person will be in debt and unable to pay it.

The more you earn, the more you have the opportunity to invest instead of spending the money even on playing gambling. By using your money to gamble, you really have to control yourself and your money because many people are addicted to gambling without realizing it. So if this is your first time gambling, you should realize that gambling is just entertainment and don't gamble too much so you don't lose more money. You can have fun by gambling, but everything must have clear boundaries so that you don't experience any problems and can still enjoy your free time. This way, you can still gamble well and without having to experience any problems.

Before I started gambling a little, there are so many young men around me that are into gambling before me and sadly till today none of them made a life changing money from gambling, or maybe they lost it all back, gambling is so addictive and that's why we must not create any relationship with financial like in gambling, do not hope from gambling to give you results that your real jobs or business can't give you, gambling is all about getting lucky today and running out of luck the next day.

Gambling is a game that has an addictive effect. Most people who have joined gambling sites will find it difficult to get out of the gambling circle. It doesn't matter how much you lose at gambling, as long as we still have money, we will continue to gamble
Gambling is very addictive,  I think the way people can avoid addiction of gambling is to get awareness of gambling addiction before starting playing gambling,  this can help to reduce the level at one plays gambling.  People who get into gambling addiction found themselves into it because no awareness , therefore they could not be very conscious on how they play gambling.  If people gets awareness about addiction,  like not to be involved in it so much it will help to minimize the level of gambling activities.
It is true that gambling will cause addiction in a person because they think that playing gambling can change their life even though logically someone who gambles is willing to risk their money in the gambling game and it is not certain that the money will come back and cannot be guaranteed. without realizing it, they will lose their money.
However, the opinion of a professional gambler is different, he considers that gambling is just luck that will be obtained at that time, it does not necessarily mean that at another time he will always be lucky.
In my opinion, it is not easy to advise someone who likes to gamble, how to play so they don't lose, because we cannot predict the results of gambling.

That's why I don't like to hear stories about how someone won a large sum, because I know that the narrator will keep silent about how much he lost.
For example, there was a case in the world of esports Date 2 - when the former owner Virtus.pro won 44 million rubles on the victory of Team Spirit. There was a very small chance that they would make it to the finals, but they took first place. This news was in all sites about esports and gambling. And it would seem that this manager can be envied, but we will never know how much money he lost before. And he will never tell it himself. This statistic is known only by gambling services where he plays. Does his bid seem weighted and calculated to me?
No.
It's just a luck.
Therefore, I am sure that he lost a lot of money before this event.

It is just PR or marketing for the casino, or sometimes the person itself.

They only show you the times they win, and never when they lose. Overall, everyone will lose, but they don't want you to see that.

Imagine a different scenario. A guy sends 1000 emails predicting Biden will be president, and 1000 emails to other people predicting Trump will be president.

After the elections there will be a thousand people saying the guy predicted the election....

A great example!
Therefore, in order to get an nice idea of the chances of winning at a casino, for example, you can turn on any not-so-famous streamer and see how he spins slots with a sad face. So it will become clear that you can lose the entire deposit, having been bored all day. At the same time, sometimes shouting "almost! almost lucky!"

But it doesn't have to be a well-known streamer, he will most likely be able to organize fake winnings in collusion with the casino for PR.

Feeling nervous when placing a bet is a normal thing for some novice gamblers. That's because they are not used to it and may still be confused about what they should set before placing a bet. That also happened to me when I first started gambling, and it's okay because, with time, that feeling of nervousness will disappear, and we will get used to gambling. Some people may hope to win from gambling, so they place big money bets, but they don't know that it will only speed up the end of their money. Usually, these beginners might get lucky to win the gambling game. There are also novice gamblers who experience losses at the beginning of their gambling, which is normal.

Yes, a good experience, the first win is certainly thrilling. I myself was worried whether the money would go into my wallet or not, when I first played I used fiat money, and the withdrawal process took 1 hour. The next day I met with my friends to celebrate the bigwin.

But unfortunately the winnings didn't last long, the next day I deposited again with the remaining money I had, and it was all gone. Very sad...
feeling hesitant when you want to place a bet is very normal for beginner gamblers and what worse is that when placing a bet you are still confused, dont know how and dont see the amount you are betting on and it turns out that the all in was done by accident but luck came the first time you got a big win and I am sure there are several people who have had experiences like this. several people told me when they tried to gamble, even though they accidentally placed a bet on roulette for the first time and were very lucky, the person had the ball stop exactly on the number he chose and he had the first luck when he gambled for the first time.
I am sure that this lucky first time gambling experience will be a bad initial experience because after that the beginner gambler mind will think that tomorrow he will win again and lose, after that he deposits his money again and continues to chase the loss. I call it a good start to a bad future.

Yes you are right that mate when we are in the firstime  in gambling we do not know where we put our bet and how much we bet and also there's a doubt in our mind that we will win or we will loss. But anyways the result will be the dictator if we will put our bet in the same game or we will choose another game to play. And when we got home and laying our bed we will think that what if tomorrow I will play again maybe I can win a big amount.

That feeling when you get home and are still thinking about gambling is what I've experienced. There was an urge to play more but you can't as you already got home so you've decided to play again tomorrow. This is the case when it's your first time and you've enjoyed it a lot and also won some money on gambling which makes you want to come back but the next day you'll lose so you've decided not to play again as you've lost some money. It was really fun and at the same time nervous when it was your first gambling experience that involved huge money and for sure win or lose you couldn't forget it.

It's all about human psychology: everyone likes to tell good things and brag, and no one talks about their failures.
Yes, that's why streamers and influencers who promote gambling and collaborate with casinos will usually only show their winnings and behind that they don't show big losses and other things, especially the promotions that many people do through social media just to show off winnings from gambling that we don't know. never know that his losses are actually greater than his wins.

That's what might make people want to gamble just like I did when I first started gambling, but luckily I didn't go too deep or too far into gambling so I can still control it now, because if I keep thinking that I can win big money and beating the dealer is very wrong, because victory comes if we can control ourselves when gambling. The point is, don't believe what people show you about the results they show off or brag about.

One fact I've learnt about people is that no one wants to be seen as a failure hence the reason behind most gamblers decision to always hide their pains whenever they lose their stakes and then public brags about their wins. Gambling novices who doesn't know that behind the huge winnings they do hear about is millions of people who's lost their hard earned money in gambling so they jump in to gambling thinking that they'll win just the person whose winning motivated them to gamble.
Gambling isn't as simple as many people do think about it and that's it's advised never to engage in it if you can't gamble responsibly
