• Check if the casino is licensed,
• Check the reviews on credible casino rating websites,
• Check for open scam accusations against them,
• Check the website layout and design; if it's a quick copy and paste, avoid it.
• Go through their ToS,
• Go through their socials for authenticity and community interaction,
• Check how efficient their support team is in responding and fixing issues.

All of these does not guarantee a casino is reliable, so always start by playing small amounts and withdrawing regularly. Gradually increase this as they prove to be more credible.

- Plus check if the casino is vouched by the campaign managers, who have high probability of trustworthiness, of BitcoinTalk through their signature campaigns. If there's no signature campaign in the forum, ask the high-ranking members here who are also members of signature campaigns. They are incentivized to tell the truth because lying would risk their removal from their campaign. Cool

Thumbs up.

I do have a problem with online casino licenses, because you really can't tell if they are truly licensed, you can't ask any online casinos to provide proof that they are truly licensed so its a free run that any online casinos, either scam or real can be licensed or not.

Let me use 1xbit for example, this is a known online casino scam in this forum but if you ask them for license they will just keep claiming that they are indeed licensed, and it is against their rules to show anyone who isn't part of a regulator firm or something, I bet you understand what I am trying to say.

So for me, license is off the table for gamblers like us, there will never be any real proof shown to gamblers.

I understand you until the point where you contradict yourself. You might want to clarify what you meant by "I don't follow any site to choose casino sites" and "I choose a reliable casino site based on their reviews." For me, you will have to follow sites if you would review casinos as you can't do it all by yourself.
I believe you missed the part where he said "I only use the casino sites on this forum"  Smiley
What he meant is that he only trusts reviews posted on bitcointalk.
Anyway, I advice him to be also careful about reviews he reads on this forum as some casinos hire shill accounts or create new accounts in order to write fake positive reviews.

I think he means casinos that have managed to achieve a good reputation over a long period of time, especially platforms that run promotional campaigns on the forum such as longstanding signature campaigns and betting competitions. All of these platforms have a good reputation and I believe the best crypto-based platforms are represented here on the forum.
In addition, members with a good reputation run casino review sites such as casinoguru and casinocritique, which can be trusted at some extent.

I agree with you that all reviews should be treated with caution regardless of their source, but at the same time I cannot deny that the forum is the best space to get honest reviews. It is more effective if the person is at least familiar with the mechanisms of the forum and the features of its use in order to be able to distinguish between the different reviews.
You would really be able to determine on a good long running casino specially if you've seen their signature campaign had been running for how many years already on which this is something that you could really be able to trust on. Although it wont really be that totally 100% safe but its better rather than making yourself dealing up into those platforms which are new and doesnt have that sufficient legit feedbacks.
It would really be just that needing up your own common sense whether you would really be that trying out to test those new ones or would be sticking into those old ones? Its not really that hard to distinguish
in between two things. All you do need to do is to find out those community feed backs and advises plus having those additional research in regarding about its reputation.

If you wont really be that getting satisfied then you could really be able to make ask question into the community in regarding on a certain platform on which you could really be somehow assure yourself
that you would really be getting legit feedbacks and warnings if ever you've been mentioning some shady sites. You cant hide anything from this community and this is really indeed the beauty of it.
On the time or moment that you cant be able to make yourself getting satisfied with those words then deal up on something with your own discretion.

This is a sound logic if we take into account the registered users on the forum who have experience in how to use social platforms. However, given the number of visitors who find the contents of the forum through a simple search on the Internet, they may be confused about the type of opinions they will find, and I do not rule out that they may find official announcements of new casino platforms that are still under testing by experienced users or even old platforms whose representatives are no longer active on the forum.

On this basis, I find our discussion now very useful and rich, especially if someone wants to find the right way to benefit from the ratings on the forum and avoid falling into the traps of scammers.

Good day forum members, please as a newbie how do I know a reliable online casino site that offers great experiences and promotions.

And What methods or resource will I use to quickly verify the credibility of a platform before playing?
Great experience is an individual thing. You have to visit casinos and check their user interface and the functionalities. If you like the time you spend there and find it user friendly, then be assured that you have found a casino site that offers great experiences.
Promotion is also an individual thing but be careful with it, you must check the terms of promotions before you get too excited because many times there are very beautiful offers shown but behind the scenes, you need to wager too many times. But sometimes you'll find great promotions with great terms.

Focus on trust, gamble on casinos that are active on this forum and take trust seriously. This way, if something happens, you'll be sure that with the help of the community, your problem will be solved.
You'll quickly verify the trust of casino by checking bitcointalk profiles of their representatives on this forum. The greener the trust, the better.

Well 😁I thought it was just me and a friend who knew that most casino that know about this forum usually give users from this forum some special kind of treatment..
Some time back, like about 3 to 4 months ago, a close friend of mine had an issue with a casino that has an announcement thread on this forum (i don't want to mention their name), he was having kyc issues, where the casino won't allow him to withdraw until he passes the kyc verification, but the casino kept rejecting the document he submitted which was his Nigerian drivers license, the casino asked him to submit a passport after initially requesting a national ID card or a drivers license, he kept on chatting with the online customer care trying to explain to her the he does not own a passport, and getting a Nigerian passport is very expensive and takes alot of time for its issuance, the online customer support simply stopped replying.

That friend told me about the issue and asked if there was anyway I was going to help him, me know that the casino is  present on this forum, I told him to tell the customer care that he (my friend) was proceeding to create a scam accusation against the casino here on bitcointalk, surprisenly after about an hour or so, the online customer care replied and said they have accepted my friend's drivers license and that he can then resubmit his withdrawal request 😁.

This goes to show that almost every casino on this forum value their reputation and do not want anything that would taint it.

These are things that usually happen because they are quite frequent in casinos that demand data unnecessarily, it is like bothering the player, with a driver's license it is enough to say that a person, apart from the inconvenience that it means to give data to a platform, has to demand it, in this aspect I consider that having a passport is expensive also in my country, sometimes people are not aware of such a thing, when there is money to spare there is no problem, but if you Win in a casino the least is that the casino pays, because when you lose one as a player does not demand Additional data from the casino.

I mean, communication between those who gamble on a casino and the casino staff itself has always been considered to be one of the most important aspects / characteristics when comes to knowing how reliable the casino itself is in general, that is why it is perceived as a positive feature. It is even more applicable when the mean of communication is not only the typical social media accounts we already know: like reddit, Twitter/X, Facebook or Instagram, but also this forum. In my experience it is easier to spot when a casino is shady and when it is not, thanks to the kind of meritocracy and healthy community we have here. There is a good reason scammy casinos and bookies are quickly exposed and expelled away from here and that is good for all of us
Yeah.  I completely agree with you that the fraudulent aims of the casino are indeed immediately exposed by experienced gamblers who write a corresponding warning here on the forum.  And if you consider that many forum users very seriously value their rank on the forum and their reputation in the community, which many of them have achieved over the years by communicating with other users of our forum and receiving merit, then it is immediately clear that such authoritative users will almost never misinform others  , write lies or false information about the casino.  So, yes, the quality of studying the topics of a particular casino on the forum provides a lot of truthful and objective information.  Unfortunately, I believe that relatively few new forum users register on the forum now, much less than, for example, in 2017, but I hope that many people simply read the topics about casinos and the Gambling section general without registering.

The rate of new people registering in the forum may have much to do with the format of forums being considered to be out of date when compared to how social media works nowadays and the millions of users which are attracted to cryptocurrency by a vast amount of influencers on the internet, though, I believe those who are truly interested in the history and the future of Bitcoin will eventually find this place and create an account in order to interact with us. As crypto gambling grows as well as an industry, more people will find appealing to discuss here with us, just not in the same numbers you already do in the official forums of the casinos their play on, Stake has its own forum, for example.

Many knowledgeable users with high experience in casino ratings can help beginners get an idea of which casino is a good one to choose. Usually these users tend to recommend old casinos that have a good reputation and are trusted by many customers, but do not necessarily doubt all new casinos. I agree that they can provide new users with the information they need, just that every gambler should not rely on the good reviews of these people.

Good reviews from experienced users certainly help new users get the information they need, but these people are not responsible for any financial losses that other people will experience. Every new gambler should know that and they should be able to weigh the various risks and only gamble wisely and responsibly.
This is really a question that experienced forum users cannot always help resolve. I mean information about the quality of work of such casinos that are new to the gambling market and are themselves new to the gaming industry. Experienced users simply may not have an objective and truthful opinion about such casinos. It is simply that too little time has passed since the entry of completely new casinos into the market and it is simply impossible to draw any conclusions about the quality of work with clients. Experienced users in this case simply honestly say that they do not have reliable information and they cannot suggest solutions.

I didn't expect the casino to have a thread on the forum but I'm sure the casino is bad reputation and not top 5 crypto casinos, they seem to make it difficult for their users to withdraw funds and kyc will be a major issue to ignore kyc verification from users, they will ask for passports and other documents that not all users have or they ignore the submitted kyc documents for the reason of fake and invalid documents.

However, after the user posted a scam accusation on this forum and the casino realized their mistake then they confirmed the user's kyc documents were verified, lol. The casino has a bad reputation for customer service and maybe anyone would like to know the name of the casino to avoid the same case.

Sadly, Still the majority of player don’t use Bitcointalk that’s why there’s still a lot of scam accusation from players that play on scam casino especially 1xbit.

You’re right that social media marketing still gives a huge impact when it comes to attracting players to play in the casino which many scam casino is using that’s why there’s always a victim of scam on this shady casino.

It is easy to take that approach when you have become a long standing member of this community and you have learnt how to tell when a casino is a reliable one or not. But you should also recall that are millions or thousands people out there on the internet who are also interested in gambling and yet, they have never stepped into this casino before, what would someone in that position supposed to do if they have no access to this forum?
Webpages dedicated to reviews of casinos are not as reliable as they used to be, because of they degree of manipulation they can be subjected to buy shillers.
This forum is quite a blessing for us who know it, though, I won't deny it.  It would be ideal if more people was aware of it's existence and it's role in the creation and widespread use of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency gambling..

You're right, well something has to be considered, when people don't have that forum culture, it's very difficult to have reliable information, and even more so now that everything is handled through social networks, where there are many influencers who don't care about their audience, they're only interested in making money no matter what, so that's a responsibility that has to be seen, but I think that as people have their experiences, whether good or bad, they're going to focus on the fact that the best thing is the information provided in the forums, especially in bitcointalk, and it is such and as you say, it's a blessing to have bitcointalk to corroborate any topic when it comes to crypto and casinos in general.

There can be positive or negative news about different casino sites in different places because there are a lot of casino sites in the market and new casino sites are coming, so different anti companies also try to attack technically to leave others behind in this competitive business and grow their own company. to be honest I don't follow any site to choose casino sites. I only use the casino sites on this forum.  Because the reputable members here I think they will never give good feedback for any real casino site. So I choose a reliable casino site based on their reviews.
I understand you until the point where you contradict yourself. You might want to clarify what you meant by "I don't follow any site to choose casino sites" and "I choose a reliable casino site based on their reviews." For me, you will have to follow sites if you would review casinos as you can't do it all by yourself. Even if forums are your preference, you still visit sites and nowhere is safe from ingenuine reviews that you are trying to avoid. What I do is read the review cleverly and insightfully, this has helped me to average the truth of any reviewing sites as many of the fake reviews are easily detected and there are some genuine reviews as well where the reviewer will be directly and indirectly guilty (not the casino now). This can easily be known by their own words if you are wise about the reading.

So I don't limit my review to this forum as we need to wisely know what we are committing our money to. What if they are pretending here and give the best service to anyone they can identify here but are worse elsewhere? Or they are fair with 90% of their customs and unfair with 10%, and fortunately, all the members of this forum are among the 90% they are fair to knowingly or unknowing and due to that you joined but unfortunately you become one of the 10% they are not fair to? That is why wiser review is important.

However, what I will not do is review a casino through a reviewer who is the one controlling the website or through a certain social media handle, they could have been paid.

What usually catch their interest is the promotions given to them that's why they not tend to choose a casino which have good offers to their player. Seeking an information regarding on their reputation is less concern since usually they are blinded with fund and other offers to be given.

But for sure if they gather enough experience provably that they won't bother to much looking on promotions, rather they look how reputable the casino i and how they gonna process all necessary things including withdrawals and support matters since for sure this will be the one important thing they would look for.
that's right, the majority of people, especially young people who still have many desires, tend to gamble to get money and they are blinded by promotions or offers that are indeed tempting given by the casino, unfortunately the offer is not easy to get even if they do it seriously it will only make them emotional with the results that are most likely to happen are negative or disappointing.

I think with those who can't control themselves they will only see the casino from the appearance, the speed of the deposit and withdrawal process. besides that, there are many advertisements that are spread about the ease of getting victory with the existence of multipliers that are easy to get, making them blind to the real risks that will definitely happen. sometimes I see a VIP account but I don't think it makes any difference and I think it's just a strategy carried out by casino staff to attract more people.

This is definitely perhaps the most optimal approach to ensure that you receive reliable and truthful information about any casino.  It is also worth considering that certain nuances of the operation of casino sites are almost always presented to our forum users briefly and objectively.  And this is important and in any case it saves your time and gives you the necessary information as quickly as possible.

Yeah, brevity is the sister of talent, that's totally true if we are talking about the nuances that can be told in easier words than usual.
By the way, it is the simplicity of the presentation of the material that may well be understandable to the vast majority of users who read such messages on our forum.  So, brevity and clear presentation in posts of the latest news from casino sites allows any user, even a novice in gambling, to quickly keep abreast of the latest events.
Well, how to use this information in your practical game is up to everyone to decide for themselves.
