Even if it does fall below 20k, it will give you profit sooner or later. Purchase, put it into non-custodial wallet and forget about it or as previously suggested do dca.

No one knows what will happen to Bitcoin, especially these days. So, it is really much better that you need to analyze it by your self, just try and decide by yourself. Because it's really difficult to rely on other people and something will go wrong.
Nobody can be sure about future. We can believe or disbelieve in future of Bitcoin existence but we must be sure about our life. To be safe against any serious events on the world in future, we must not use all money to invest in Bitcoin or other assets. Diversify our money to different assets to be safe against uncertainty and risk.

Or another thing is you can try to split your available balance in different prices, it's like a Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) for buying Bitcoin.
DCA with https://dcabtc.com/

It is good to try with calculation like what happen today if we did DCA last 1 year, last 6 months.
6 months ago: 15% profit. https://dcabtc.com?sd=2022-09-23&sda=6_months&f=weekly&d=3_years&ac=10000&c=false

I am actually very weak in analysis so I would like to know from your personal analysis that Bitcoin can go below 20k again?

Bitcoin price is currently 28k and I have 5k usd fund which I want to invest in crypto currency, and want to make this investment for long term, want to wait until next ATH or touch current ATH.
Do you think it would be perfect to invest in Bitcoin now or should I wait for a few more days to get a good DIP?

Analysis even doesn't work effectively in most cases if the question is about "when is the right time"?

When buying, you really need to decide for yourself and be brave enough to face all the possible risks.

If you really want to buy for the long-term, then decide now regardless of the price. There are lots of "what if" once you buy but what else can we do as no one knows what will happen in the future.

This is a critical question every investors used to ask to maximize profits. The problem is that we don't know what the market is capable of doing since the Bitcoin price keep going up and down. We might think the price is going to come down more before buying and end up going higher. If we know the absolute answer to this very question then every investor in the market is going to be very profitable as well.
You need to look at the market candle stick and try and analyse it so that you can predict the next possible direction of the price of Bitcoin.

I think it is left for you to decide, you should just do your analysis to know if this is the right time to invest in bitcoin, I don't think you should expect anyone to tell you the right time to invest, you should be the one to tell yourself.

Bitcoin price is still down, if your are planning to hold bitcoin for a long term, then you shouldn't be disturb about when to invest, Bitcoin price is still down to me, so anyone that's planning to invest for long term might invest now, but you have to do your research before investing.

Hard to tell the exact price where bitcoin of bitcoin in future and holding is strong mans game so if you think you can handle it then try to hold you never know what will be the result if you didn't try it. No one can tell what will happen but if we base up on the stats we can figure some things that price pump which can reach up to ATH is really possible. Just make sure only that you can afford to lose that money so that it will not hard for you to accept if you lose your money when market unexpectedly dump.

Just think about that there is no perfect time for investing in Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies but it was good if you start when the price is low. Unfortunately, we're done with the dip, the market is now recovering, you never have to wait for the dip but instead, make a decision to buy now. If were you, I'll take the opportunity while the price of Bitcoin isn't surpassing $30k as any of these days it might be going there. Don't think about the past but rather think about the future as ATH will come next.

long-term investment strategy in cryptocurrencies is often more fruitful than short-term trading. Investing in Bitcoin at the current price of 28k could be a good entry point for a long-term investment, considering its historical price trends and market growth potential. Therefore, it's important to invest only the amount you can afford to lose and diversify your investment portfolio
I am also agreeing with you in this point that now it is 27.3k is enough good dip for holding or investing on bitcoin because if you see the ath of it , it is still more than 2x . But seeking for more profit will not that bad idea for now cause I think bitcointalk can slip again from this current price because market is so unstable and I don't see any upper resistance for pump. So I think investment can be done by observing some more time .

It is hard to predict maybe there could be another dip close to less than 20k again. As you wait for such and such time it will only limit your profit gain. So what you should do at this mixed market stage is to DCA and see how it goes. But if you feel you want to invest everything at once I will say u should be reluctant because even this 27k price tag is still low enough to gain considering the current ATH. Should we get another ATH then you could be having 2.5x+ of your investments.

Ha, you're right! Looks like we got a dip alright, and not the delicious kind you'd find at a party. I guess this is why they say timing is everything when it comes to investing.

As for whether it's the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin, that's always a tough call. It's hard to predict the future of any investment, especially one as volatile as cryptocurrency. But hey, if you're a believer in the long-term potential of Bitcoin and you're comfortable with the risk, now might be as good a time as any to buy in.

I am actually very weak in analysis so I would like to know from your personal analysis that Bitcoin can go below 20k again?

Of course, there's always the possibility that the market will dip even further in the coming days or weeks. But as they say, you can't time the market perfectly, and it's hard to say whether Bitcoin will dip below $20,000 again or continue to climb. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge and hope for the best.

It's on a dip now so from $28k, I've seen it drop today to $26k. The possibility of bitcoin going down to $20k is there but, it may not go back there anymore too. As usual with these predictions and scenarios, we can think of it. What's best is to just DCA on it, maybe on a weekly basis or every time you see the price of bitcoin go on a correction. Because we don't know how low it may get or how quickly it will go to the other high price levels that we're waiting for.

What I can say is that you will get the highest return if you hold past the halving in 2024.
And that's why for him, DCA is the best strategy to make.

I think we haven't reached the top of this spike, there may be a dip every time but it will still be fine in the long run. I speculate that the price may not go below 20k anymore but probably close to $22k. Just my analysis.

anyone can analyze the market but it's hard to really pinpoint a real price. What I can say is that you will get the highest return if you hold past the halving in 2024.

For investment you take nice step to invest in bitcoin but It's seems that the candles have started dumping again. No one can say or prediction 100% confirmly that how will be the future condition of crypto market but if I have to say or suggest something to you -
Since 5k usd is not a bad amount and from current analysis and from my own little experience, I want to say that wait some more time for investment, dump has started from 12 pm today, I think the price will decrease by 2-3k at present.  Then I will ask you to wait more to get a dip below 20k, may this pump could be a bulltrap. You never can tell if the price of Bitcoin will move in a downward trend or move in the upward trend, but since you're going for the long term investment then the current price shouldn't be an issue for you.
No matter the price you buy as long as you are going to wait until Bitcoin returns back to its all time high then you shouldn't be concerned with the price of Bitcoin currently.
