First of all, I think it's impossible to me to have 10,000 Bitcoin.
And IF I have it and lost all of it, I would definitely trying to take the money back.

Well it depends how you lost those 10k coins and when you lost them.
For instance if it happened because you gambled too much I'd say this is just stupid.
If you lost them because your hard drive got broken this is bad luck. But here you could have prepared for that and could have some back up!!!
And when you bought this coins in 2011 for a few pennies or you mined them, then I'd say your nor financially broken.
And maybe you have another 10k coins, so this is kind of bad, but you're still in pretty good.

in the end, you only find the beginning
What the &%&%$!!!!!! 10k? cmon i loose just few satoshis with some cloud mining ( yes scams.. ) and i was around 1 week thinking on it... 10k omg i dont want to imagine it.

Btw if someone lost 10k maybe is becuse he have more than 10k, so maybe that "lost" is not as big as it could be for us... ( i mean people like me with low ammount of satoshis xD )

Hire me for Bounty Management
Blue_Tiger73 posted as to what you would do if you gained 1,000,000 bitcoin ( Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy ). Now i am asking you guys. How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000, bitcoin through any reason (  Angry Angry Angry )? And how would you maximise the chances of this never happening?

If that happened to me I would go insane.Losing even 1% of it would made me deeply sad.10,000 is a hugeeeee money. The best thing is that I dont have that much money so I can't lose what I dont have.If I had 10,000 btc,I would have split them in smaller quantity like 500 btc each and would keep them in separate paper wallet.Wish it never happens to anyone

Cashback 15%
Depends on how much do I hold in total. If I have that 10,000 as my only bitcoins, I would probably lose my mind and just go broke. Also, depends on how much money do I spent to obtain that much coins. Wink

Like some user already mentionoed, i would keep the coins safe in different hardware wallets (or even just printed enycrypted private keys) spread among
my enviroment (With backups ofcourse).
Just to minimize the Risk of a big amount getting lost.

I would never be stupid enough to put 10,000 bitcoin in a position that it can be lost

If I lost it to being hacked, then I wouldn't know what to do because I would have so much security on it.
I guess I would just take another approach to whatever security I had and hope for the best.
security is the most important thing when it comes to online money like bitcoin. we all know that hackers gain easy access to our personal accounts through many ways. An easy way to minimise this happening, we can spread our investment in many different wallets so as to make it harder for hackers to zero in on us. Thanks for replying.
But separating your coins on a few different wallet can be a problem when you need to make a big payment Sad
If you split the payment into a few parts then you have to pay an extra TX fee thus cost you more than you would normally do.
I suggest just to use hardware wallets, they are far secure than any other type of wallets Smiley

The chance is VERY small... If you lost that amount of coins at the same time, you are bordering on being stupid. You never keep that many coins in one service... I spread my

coins into different services and wallets and cold storage and paper wallets. At no time will any large amount of coins be stored in one address. You just paint a target on your

back, if you store large amounts in one service or wallet.  Roll Eyes

It's life and such things sometimes happen.
I was in the war, lost home and job, was refugee for a few year...
I just started over in a new place, find new job, bought a new house etc.
So, if you fail it's not the end of the world but just good opportunity for a new beginning.

Can you imagine that in 10 years time someone might lose 7.5 Bitcoins like this and story about it could make to the headlines.
That is why i always say, faucets are worth to do them as long as you forget on the wallet for few years.
