Global warming would be at its peak.
no change, because in upcoming days pollution will be decreased, especially air population will be too much less because there are a lot of working on reducing smoke

There would be serious climate change and high rise in temperature. This can be averted if air pollution is reduced and more trees are grown.

Consumer tech adoption will decrease and people prefer living in less populated areas like villages.

How do you imagine 2050? are the cars flying, does the climate get better, are we on mars yet, what are the biggest innovations. Lets talk about it

Just 30 years more... Hmm i think we would have sent more things to Mars, maybe some humans.

The climate isn't getting any better. Even if magically people stopped polluting and deforesting tomorrow, it would take a lot of inertia to slow down or revert the effects of climate change. Sadly i think the weather patterns will remain harsh and changing for decades to come.

They are not going to let cars fly yet due to regulations on airspace. Or if you wanted to fly in your car, you would need the corresponding pilot license...

If hyperloop becomes more popular, people are going to use less, not more, cars. America actually just needs high speed rail to connect her major cities, which is good as less jetliners also means less pollution.

Electric cars will become more and more common, and small self driven mini bus like commuter (such as Musk 20 seater proposal) this is a driverless vehicle people could take daily, and even call it uber/lyft style.

By this year there won't be any commercial bitcoin miners, all that will be left by then is a small group of enthusiasts. Bitcoin price would have gone more stable finding its approximate place (it will keep going up but slowly, opposite to the induced fiat devaluation).

Well i imagine it to be pretty awesome, AIs would be popping around, cryptocurrency usage would have become normal and bitcoin price would be around $100k..

How would bitcoin survive a quantum powered AI?

By 2050, I expect the world will be a much different place.   Billions of people will have starved and our cities will be deteriorating.

Five hours north of me, the city nearest the largest oil reserves outside Saudi Arabia lost a good portion of it's buildings due to a wildfire.   A good portion of people did not return, and now they are closing the camps near the oilfields and forcing everyone to move into town.   Great plan, forcing thousands of fuel efficient trucks to drive a hundred extra km a day.

I believe Detroit is undergoing the same restructuring.  Cities cannot afford to power and maintain hundreds of square kilometers of under occupied land.

The future is not friendly.  Sad

Advanced technology is the first thing that will come to your mind when you think of the future. But I hope that technology won't consume us humans. I hope that they will not become more superior than us.

I think WW3 will take place long before 2050 and will destroy so much infrastructure and technology that the few who will remain alive will be reduced to living like it was the stone age.
nah there won't be any massive wars anymore
Absolutely because in environment will kill us all 😂

If you don’t notice that the calamity these days are getting worst then what we have recorded before so why need war weapons when the nature is our true enemy here

I agree with Yuval Noah Harari and his theory. The premise outlines that during the 21st Century, humanity is likely to make a significant attempt to gain happiness, immortality and God-like powers.
