One or few days away from gambling won't kill anyone. Better to just wait the fees to return to its normal average price again. There is a lot of speculation going on Bitcoin's blockchain through NFTs and worthless crap tokens, but once it's over the fees will come back to the normal again.

By there you can convert some fiat to altcoins from alternative blockchains to deposit at casinos paying lower fees. But just in case you are really decided to gamble for next days, while Bitcoin's transactions are extremely expensive.

Well, for those who have some bitcoin left in an exchange, I believe they won't feel the impact of the high transaction fee since they can easily convert their bitcoin to other coins or tokens on some other networks with low transaction fees, example is bsc, trc or solana, I believe the high cost of transaction on the bitcoin chain didn't affect other alternate chains.

For me, haven't gambled for some time now, the high cost of transactions isn't the excuse though, just haven't been lucky for a while, so I decide to take a little break.

Is anyone still playing today with this high fee? I think those gamblers that leave funds in the casino are very happy that they didn't need to experience this fee drama.

I am taking a break off gambling right now. Two days ago I tried to fund my casino account from my electrum wallet and the transaction fee wasn't funny at all. It was triple of what I was charged a month ago and it took almost forever to get confirmed. And even when it got to my casino wallet, I wasn't in the mood to play any game. My two options right now are one, to take a break or two, use the alternative options that is Ethereum or USDT. I may go for the later but I am not sure yet.

I have been placing small bets throughout the previous few days, but I haven't done any withdrawal transactions. However, last week when I checked the fees, I also saw that the fees had increased in price.
To lessen our financial load, we should try to convert or even switch to other networks like BNB and USDT. High fees are already a component of the gambling challenge, therefore we have to cope with them. If we are making numerous withdrawals, it would be smarter to make them all at once to reduce the amount of transaction costs we must pay. I concur that it could be wise to take a break for a bit if the dilemma persists.

The lucky fellows are those who have Bitcoin left in the wallets before this price surge. The mempool lately is messed up with high tx fee and i don't know how long it will take to fix this up. I think the number of withdrawals has increased and the mempool is crowded which in-turn has resulted to such outrageous fees.
I totally agree with you. Gamblers that have some Bitcoin in their gambling accounts have nothing to worry about as they can easily place their bets on their preferred games without having to through the high transaction deposit fees. The only problem they might encounter is delay of withdrawal if they want to withdraw their winnings. But I would rather not initiate a withdrawal until the mempool is clear off and everything is back to normal.

this not only affects bitcoin gamblers but affects casino campaign signature participants on this forum who pay BTC , I think this will be a problem in bitcoin transactions also on their payments or withdrawing money from the casino, especially if the bitcoin price is in May had such a drastic drop in price that it was hard to hold hot coals in hand, lol

I think why is there a need for an exchange within the casino so that users can look for other alternatives for withdrawal if bitcoin is experiencing a busy network like this, this function actually used to be widely used but no longer, if only this feature was used again it would help the process of withdrawing to other blockchain networks that are more cheap and not busy.  Cheesy

Isn't it that currently most online crypto casinos offer various types of crypto that can be used as transaction methods, such as LTC, Doge, and so on at a lower cost.

I think we can have different experiences for online gambling, many online casinos currently don't only use Bitcoin, there are dozens of types of crypto that can offset deposit and withdrawal fees for use by casino users, that's the advantage of playing at a crypto casino.

My experience is certainly there, if you talk about transactions, fees, and so on, I still bet even though Bitcoin fees are expensive, of course, as I mentioned above, methods and other types of crypto a wise choice to do, if Bitcoin costs are high, it's not an obstacle for me to bet.

People will definitely gambles regardless of the high transaction fee just that it might also have little impact on those who were unable to achieve such to affordability, those gambling using high amount for stake sees nothing bad in doing that, all they were after us the satisfaction in gambling which they will eventually get at the end, they don't mind winning or loosing as well unlike those that have this as a mandate for them to win for their sustainability.

I think those gamblers that leave funds in the casino are very happy that they didn't need to experience this fee drama.

I will say it helps to an extent in this regards for those that already have funds on their casino wallet but i must confess that they would have developed a kind of trust in their casino to have make such deposit because not all casinos can be trusted, many gamblers only put in what they can afford to loose in their casino wallet, know also that there's no amount of deposit you already made to your wallet it will definitely finished and you will need more funds to gamble with time.

It should be possible already with BEP20, ERC20 and etc. pegged Bitcoin and self custodial wallets. But I have no idea if there is any legitimate and trusted casino offering such services.
There's no difference if you gamble with ERC-20 tokens since the fees are higher compared to Bitcoin network, only BEP-20 tokens are make sense. Yeah there's an altcoins pegged with Bitcoin e.g. Wrapped Bitcoin. AFAIK the most trusted and popular casino which offer to gamble by connecting your wallet are owl.games, but their casino aren't accessible now, they said they were in development and will comeback when it's done.

Best to wait a bit until things calm down and fees drop. Or gamble with an altcoin. You do not have to use Bitcoin everytime just to gamble, you know? And personally, losing altcoins does not sting as much as when you gamble and lose Bitcoin, for some reason  Tongue

A middle-way solution would be to use a Bitcoin pegged altcoin, and preferably, when such casinos come out, gamble using those Bitcoin pegged altcoins without having to send them to any third party wallet.

Yes, few hrs ago I think binance freeze the withdrawal of bitcoin due to the fees. When I gamble I rather choose altcoins rather than using bitcoin itself, I cannot take the thought that what if my betting amount in bitcoin when being converted is higher than it was before, I have that kind of thought that's why I gamble using usdt or other xrp or other altcoins that are available in the website.

It cannot be avoided, this will happen eventually and it's now. I think all we can do is be wise about it. Use other currencies instead like USDT or XRP if it's available. Low fees and fast transactions, we are now limited at using altcoins instead and let this high bitcoin transaction fees calm down.
But if forced, it will be a good idea to deposit large amount to evade going back and forth which is probably more expensive. There's no other solution yet than those two, in my opinion.

The transaction fee on Bitcoin is increasing day by day. It cost now 14$ for a low-priority transaction to 17$ for high priority transaction. I was planning to make a deposit today on my casino account until I notice the high fee on my electrum sent tab. The fee is almost 5% of my total bankroll that I was supposed to deposit. I decided to rest for now since I will be down immediately by 5% for a transaction that I don't know when will gonna be confirmed.
Actually, I have not done a deposit for my casino for almost two weeks to do fun because I have many financial problems that I have to prioritize, and also I don't have much time because lately working almost full time from my daily life. Witnessing almost three days using Bitcoin to gamble the transaction fee is too large, I think why it can happen, it turns out that there are many using Bitcoin network that makes it.

I think only a small number of people who use bitcoin as their deposit to the casino, and they are only able, most of the other people use Altcoin for their gambling, it is more alternative than imposing such a big fee.

and here we go again with the bitcoin high transaction fee problem, we were already past this big nightmare, I was shocked to see news like this:

Binance halts Bitcoin withdrawals for the second time in 12 hours

it's a very bad situation, many people (including me) have been withdrawing money from binance directly to the casinos where they have an account, but when we see this kind of unpleasant news, people have to use altcoins and not all people like to use them altcoin, for example if a person uses altcoin to withdraw because bitcoin is not available for withdrawal that person may lose money too, that's because when the price of bitcoin falls, then the price of altcoins fall much more than the price of bitcoin, so the person buys 1 LTC for the price of 83$ and sends it to the casino, until binance approves the withdrawal and arrives at the casino the price of LTC could drop to 80$

and the person would already have a loss of 3$ and binance will not be held responsible for this loss, without a doubt that this whole problem of high transaction fees has created many headaches for people, the price of bitcoin is still above 27000$, but a drop below $27000 would trigger another panic selling and more people will rush to sell bitcoin and hold USDT and others will be withdrawing their bitcoin and keeping it in their wallets to do hodl in the long term, I don't know if all casinos will too will increase the withdrawal rate, unfortunately in the case of casinos the situation is more serious, because those who deposit in bitcoin can only withdraw in bitcoin

I mean, why you force yourself to gamble using Bitcoin? just exchange it for cheaper fee altcoins e.g. Doge, Litecoin, TRC-20 tokens etc. This will avoid drama of paying high fees, I think it's still long to wait people to lost their interest to buy BRC-20 tokens, usually the hype last long for few months or a year. Remember next or two next years later bull run will happen, the Bitcoin price will increase and it make the fees skyrocketed more than this.

not really, haven't been gambling much lately and if I did I usually use XRP when depositing.

What?! $14 already for low priority in Bitcoin? Damn.
it even reached $20 for low priority just several hours ago. at this point, it would be better to just use another crypto at the moment to save money on fees if anyone plans to gamble during this time.

Because I'm a small gambler when I want to bet an amount of around $ 10-20 if using BTC it's really not enough and temporarily move to USDT to keep gambling.
Not sure when the transaction fee will go down but in order to keep betting I'm looking for a solution by using another coin and I'm sure some people here also choose to use another coin that has low transaction fees.[/left]

Use BUSD, XRP and Doge if you really want a low transaction in your deposit. Most of the casino only supports TRC20 and ERC20 USDT which charge you a fee a minimum of 2$ while the token that I mention on charge few cents with same seamless transaction.

I’m already having fun using Bitcoin on gambling since the fee before the ordinals became popular is very cheap but now I think we have no choice than to look for alternative. I hope casino will find a way to implement a built-in exchange for those user that use Bitcoin as currency.
There are actually many options when the costs involved in making bitcoin transactions are enormous. As you said some of the coins you mentioned. Not only for gambling, but everyone will think twice about transactions using bitcoins when they have to pay such high transaction fees, especially if we only have a small amount of bitcoins, don't let the amount of bitcoins we will deposit be less than the transaction fees charged. we have to take it out. lol

I believe the problem itself is the bitcoin network, based from the OP, his bitcoin is coming from his electrum wallet.
There's no problem if you are using other wallets supporting other cheaper networks like Tron or BSC.
With the case of the OP, just lay low for a bit and wait for the fees to go down because there are indeed instances that are quite expensive.
But if you happen to deposit from other wallets supporting other networks, then, take advantage of it. Compare their fees and see if it will help you.

The latter is 100% me. I rarely gamble nowadays and when I do I often leave a lot since I get bored really quickly, so I have quite a bit of left overs to the point that even if I play a few more times I'd probably be fine without depositing. I also use coins with low transaction fees sometimes so it's an easy bypass, sometimes that is.

Wouldn't say the same for sports betting though, if fees are still the same once TI comes up. Last Apex tournament that I betted on didn't have insane fees so I didn't really notice.
